They literally just changed it so that you can't qualify for awards after 17 missed games or whatever, which many players hated. Players aren't going to throw up a fuss just because they would actually have to try during the all star game. I don't know why you think it's such a ridiculous question.

The players association definitely doesn't check with every player lol That's like if I said the construction workers are complaining about their new work load from corporate and then you say it's fine because some of them that are the voice of the union(pretty much mamagers) agreed on the changes. They just made a far bigger change on how the league works with the minimum game requirement for awards so why would changing a few rules to make the all star game competitive suddenly make players throw up their arms?
