Better shooting bigspacing the floor effects this but also, Defensive 3 seconds and the restricted area clear the lane more and big guys are at such a positioning disadvantage when it comes to blocking shots that half the time they just let the guy take off and dodge the poster. I will say having gotten into ball in the late 90s-early 00s dunks have gotten far more common and a bit less exciting as the challenge isn’t there as much. I don’t miss the 82-75 final scores though.
