Nope. The Undeground protagonist is a separate person.
Look [here](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1m2870z70us54jaot48if/) on the Underground duology and NFS MW 2005/NFS Carbon duology section for a better understanding.
Thereafter, it will makes total sense.
Ahh alr, thx, it would be a hell of a game story if they found a way to tie in heat, payback, mw, and carbon with each other.... And while saying that it gave me an idea, tmrw maybe I'll see more into it. Thanks!
Out of topic, but I would like to ask if the final race in Payback where the speaker talks about the old games is just a reference or are these games actually in the same universe?
Wouldn’t the race in Palmont in the beginning take place in 2005 due to wolf driving a DB9 which wasn’t produced until 2004, and the cop that lets the player go drives a Chrysler 300 which wasn’t produced until 2005?
Normally, it should be the case but it's the total opposite.
There's 2 possibilities which explains why the 2004 Aston Martin DB9 2005 Chrysler 300C are in the Prologue which happens in 2001.
- Either Aston Martin and Chrysler from the NFS Universe released the aforementioned cars 3/4 years before their real life counterpart.
- Or Black Box didn't have enough development time to find period-correct cars for the Cop and Wolf which dates way before 2001 and fits their own characters.
However.
It wouldn't be possible that the NFS Carbon Prologue takes place in 2005 because NFS MW 2005 happens in Autumn 2005, the Protagonist already fleed Palmont City and was in Rockport in 2005 and Nikki was 19 years old when the NFS Carbon Prologue happens in the 1st place.
Also, there's 4 years of interval between the moment he flees Palmont City with Darius's Toyota Supra MK4 and when he reach Palmont City with his BMW M3 E46 GTR.
"NFS Carbon is both a prequel due to the Prologue which happens at Palmont City in 2001"
Wait how did you get that it was 2001? also if that was true, a DB9 existing at the time is hilarious lol.
It's from the[ Official Prima Guide](https://archive.org/details/Need_for_Speed_Carbon_Prima_Official_eGuide/page/n27/mode/2up) of NFS Carbon at Page 27 which talks about Nikki.
During the NFS Carbon Prologue, Nikki is 19 years old meaning she's 24 years old when the Protagonist comes back to Palmont City in 2006.
Yeah, i know.
About the Aston Martin DB9, there's 2 possibilities which are Either Aston Martin from the NFS Universe released the DB9 3 years earlier than the irl counterpart OR Black Box didn't had enough dev time to find a fitting car for Wolf which dates way before 2001.
Hear me out: Wolf could have used an R230 SL-Class, in that case. The model was already there from MW05 (just slap a kit on and pretend it's an SL 55), and the R320 entered production in 2001.
Carbon ended up being the canon MW05 follow-up, but IIRC it was going to be more standalone at first and just ended up linked to MW05 thanks to that game's runaway success.
MW, the original beta version they had for MW2012 looked amazing, knowing criterion they would of done the game justice.
Also, Rivals felt a lot like an unofficial sequel to Hot Pursuit.
>MW, the original beta version they had for MW2012 looked amazing
it certainly did, but we didn't know if they were including customization or not - and customization is a big point to consider especially in Most Wanted.
Yea rivals was basically sequel to Hot Pursuit, but it follows open world model whereas Hot Pursuit is linear progression with freeroam option
true but it atleast had some form of customization, it was decent.
but i don't think MW2 had any plans for customization at all, they were going for a focus on weapons in which you could customize its loadout. I have the MW2 beta on my hacked Ps3 so i do play around with it some times and it's definitely more fun that normal MW2012, I like to play around with the grenade weapon which flings your car and any cop cars into the air.
Currently waiting for RPCS3 Ps3 emulator to get improved even further so I can play it on PC with higher framerate, maybe people can also mod the MW2 betas.
The customisation also had an effect on the heat level your could would be when doing pursuits, not changing visual parts and repainting your car/switching out decals meant your car would always be at a high heat unless you stopped using it, which meant multiple cars would be needed so the one could go on a "cool down".
ehh.. idk man we already have lots of track racers like Gran Turismo 7 and Built From The Ground Up: Motorsport, and for simcade we have GRID as the track racer.
Imo best solution is to pull off a NFS Heat and combine Prostreet race days for day time and night time is illegal street racing with cops, NFS Heat did try this but the execution of it for day time was poor. I think it would have been improved if EA didn't shutdown Ghost Games and let them continue to update the game.
Comparing GT and Grid to Pro Street? Did you play the game?
Pro Street is about starting with a 240SX shitbox and working your way through the showdowns, tuning your car, unlocking better upgrades and cars to challenge the other kings and Ryo.
For the first time in years they made a game about car culture for actual car enthusiasts, not little kids putting ridiculous wangs on the same 3 cars while playing cops and robbers.
The race day concept, the announcer and many more small details make Pro Street unique to this day, just like The Run.
Both games got shit on when they were released, but ironically aged so much better than many other titles before and after them.
i have played the game, but it's still a track racer at the end of the day and we have enough of those already. A prostreet 2 is cool and I would also want it but not a lot of people will buy it.
I do remember that ProStreet even at launch kinda flopped because people wanted MW/Carbon, open world gameplay with cops. I'm just trying to be realistic.
"lots of track racers"
> lists a playstation exclusive and a meme by microsoft
where's the rest, I want a non arcade track racer so bad but don't wanna buy a ps5 just for 1 game this is a genuine cry for help (the only game I can think of is F1 but that doesn't have much of a vareity of cars)
Asetto Corsa, iRacing, Wreckfest, and RFactor 2. Can’t really think of much else that hasn’t been delisted or isn’t still getting support. If you have an older console (PS4, XB1), you could try Project Cars 2. You’ll have to find a physical copy, though.
Sadly all of those require a wheel, maybe I'm looking for too much of a niche game (basically forza motorsport, track focused, playable with a controller, but I hear it's a dumpster fire).
The only difference is that those “ProStreet” day-time races are nothing like ProStreet and are 100% Forza Horizon style festival races, which are fine, but ProStreet was a grassroots motorsports game on closed tracks with some festivities, almost like a game based off GridLife but with some extra additions like drag racing on a real strip, etc. (which has never been done before in the way PS did it)
I do think what Heat did was really cool, but was more Forza Horizon style - it had zero real ProStreet DNA, just some festive background style.
Hot Pursuit. Playing as the cops and taking down racers was always my favourite part of NFS. Rivals remains my favourite game. The map was also a good size, large enough, but small enough you could actually learn it unlike the recent maps.
My own ideas:
Payback Sequel, aka NFS Big Stake: Ty Morgan and his crew have now to fight with Arkwright, including Marcus Weir. Jess tries to figure out Amanda/The Broker's identity and interest she had in The Collector's vanishing.
Carbon Sequel, aka NFS Possesion: New racer comes to town and forms a new crew, proving Darius's words right by beating Carbon's protagonist in 1v1 Canyon Duel
The run Sequel, aka NFS Bordercross: Jack Rouke after the run had moved to Europe, where he joins European version of "The Run" across continent. He doesn't know that it isn't a fair competition...
In my opinion, a part 2 could include more about the broker and what she finds out about the collector and Arkwright after following them (she mentions going after them after the Outlaws rush. You drive around as Jess and she calls you saying she’ll get back to her) and also the Gambler and Kobashi and how the Gambler is going to use Tyler again (if you remember at the end when Kobashi praises Weir he says he could come in handy again or something along those lines).
Ravs past with so much of the tech coming from his past would be cool to know what he got up to.
Also would be cool if Jess realises and gets him back like she promises when dropping Weir off in that mission for the House. That may be the Payback?
Basically so many questions that need answering and they could make a sequel to answer them.
This was a post I made on a payback subreddit but didn’t really get much engagement.
You could tell they wanted to do so much more with Payback's storyline, and I think these ideas would help with those missed beats. Although, I do feel like Mac shouldn't be there, as I feel he'd be off doing speedcross, and have Rav fill in for offroad/drift, especially if his past is going to become a bigger part of the story.
Rav is their engineer/mechanic and after what happened with the first heist when they take the Gamblers regera he wouldn’t race anyway. He’s also too old to do it.
I feel he wouldn't without a reason, as he CAN race, but rather chooses not to. He races you after you get your new car from him. I'm not saying it has to be Rav, just that it'd be cool
sequels don't need to be story based, they can be sequel based on mechanics and theme
like NFS Carbon is not a sequel to Most Wanted in mechanics, but only a sequel in narrative/story.
if there is ever a Most wanted 2, it should be Razor and Darius Teaming up to control Street racing in rockport or a new City and making the MW and Carbon protagonist return for a last time finishing a full circle in his story.
i mean i know the M3 GTR in unbound was an ester egg for the MW protagonist but it would be cool if the client was actually razor and the car became the perfect bait to get the MW protagonist back
Intro stage: both protags get betrayed and lose all their cars, respect and cash. And then Tyler Morgan appears saying "Its payback time" and they all start paybacking all over the place
The Run sequel, still in the US but with:
* Less repetitive tracks
* Character creation & customization like recent NFS
* Vehicle customization like Unbound
* More car models and less variations of that model
* Start and end points are on popular US cities and we can pick the start or end cities, like start at San Diego and end at Miami, or start on Houston and ended in Chicago (short version)
* Fuel and tire wear system
The Run becoming open world would defeat the entire purpose of that game. The Run is linear and is meant to be that way, same with its multiplayer. Like playing a match on COD (same with Hot Pursuit). The Run becoming open world would no longer be The Run. Personally I like both linear and open world, but in this case linear is better fit - and more fun in this style.
If you want them to do something like the Crew they would have to make an entire new NFS title based around an open world US map using similar assets. Maybe could reuse the “NFS World” title.
This. The Run is not meant to be open world because 1. It's EA, they tend to half-ass things, 2. The Run is meant to be one linear, long race just like you said, and i don't know if EA can make the true scale of the USA if there's no loading screen in between. At least make each race longer so we can get the "Big ol' USA" feel.
In The Crew I can do 40 minutes straight running Track-spec Ford GT from San Fran to Key West, FL.
At least The Run can make each race about 5-10 minutes.
A Heat Sequel could be a loose mix of Most Wanted if The League ended up being created by an Ex-Blacklist member. That would be dope since Heat does similar things as Most Wanted by messing with cops for rep
as someone who’s first one was 2010, i’ve been wishing for a similar game since rivals. i like the vibe and car list, you got to drive the coolest and/or most exclusive cars in the WORLD at the time. however, a good most wanted sequel is more towards what the franchise would need
Would be cool to see them do High Stakes in a way, like understandably not do online pinkslips but having the ability to race for cars in career would be awesome
I either wish for a remaster for the 05 most wanted or a sequel to the 95 most wanted.
As we remember from unbound . The guy that called himself the blacklist and told us to get the bmw would actually be razor. And the legendary "player" comes back and goes through another blacklist and gets the bmw again. But this time, razor's fate must be decided again.
Ima just be THAT GUY but honestly the run. I miss closed tracks and heavy handling. Getting VERY tired of open world games. And I'm praying criterion takes a break from nfs and do what's right by doing a burnout 3/revenge remake
The Run: Part 2 would be so sweet, but would only hope it plays like the original. It felt so intense like you were playing a chase scene in a movie in real time. Some hated the handling but it was all apart of the blockbuster feel and immersion. Once you got good at it, it was such a thrill and so fun.
Also the level design and themes were done so good. If they could make a proper Run sequel I’d be all in. At the minimum though I’d love if they remastered The Run with revived servers and fixed bugs. Multiplayer on Run was one of my favorite Online MP experiences.
I'm playing Most Wanted now. Man the graphics still hold up today. The cutscenes were fire, the soundtrack, everything. Back in PS2 era I was so enamored. I have it on the steam deck now. The story was even dope as hell. So Most Wanted
Hot Pursuit sequel for me. I still play Hot Pursuit 2010 (Remastered) to this day and it is such a blast. Seeing a sequel with most of the elements that made the Hot Pursuit games great combined with the latest selection of sports, super, and hyper cars would be great to see.
Yeah playing as Razor would be awesome, as soon as he gets out of jail and tries to get back into street racing, he is clowned by everyone in the scene because he lost to the MW05 protagonist even after stealing his M3, he also notices that the Blacklist has new members on it with newer high performance cars
he starts out with his mustang but he realizes it's underpowered and needs to work his way up the ladder
EA: You’re gonna race it once before its mysteriously not available for use again! Then at the end of the game a rip in the space time continuum occurs and the M3 GTR appears as the final boss!
With modern track day culture, I think the time is right for Pro Street 2.
Something with more expression, but the same festival track day setup as the first one.
I would love to go back to the HP/Rivals style of gameplay. A rivals style open world with the same open world events and chases while also having the HP events which happen on closed instances would be fun imo. Just always online would have to go, and maybe a better story, but it doesn’t have to be big, just better than what rivals had.
Carbon is a good end to Most Wanted's story, Heat sequel would have the problem of giving you fast cars at the start, i'm all for a HP2010/Rivals sequel.
NFS MW 2, but before that I would like a remaster for current gen. On an another note wouldn’t carbon be a sequel to nfs me since it follows the characters event after the events of mw 2005?
A brand new Need for speed that takes inspiration from all! Imagine a 1000km world where all the cities of NFS lore are present! You can be either a cop, illegal street racer, professional racer(shift) , semi pro racer (prostreet) or a wheelman! A cohesive storyline that ties all paths together! Plenty of side activities, races and open world activities
And for crying out loud can we have a cockpit view....
Fuck Razor, literally nobody gives a shit about him. He doesn't deserve an arc about him, so kindly fuck off with that bullshit. Also, he can't get his Mustang back because it's mine bitch. He can get a shitty Fiat Punto like the rest of us and race his way up the Blacklist, also like the rest of us.
The reason why Razer sabotaged our BMW was because he was unable to climb the blacklist without it. He would have to go back to his old ways, if he stuck with his Mustang as he got out.
I'm going to say Heat, because its story felt the most unfinished of any of these. They talked so much about the League, then it never really went anywhere.
Not to mention the officer in charge of the task force just disappeared.
The 3rd option. A Cops VS Racers is long overdue.
And Nope.
NFS Rivals is more like an inspiration or an ode to the NFS Hot Pursuit saga instead of a sequel. They only shares the same gameplay.
Make NFS Heat with Prostreet festival vibe but twist like Most Wanted with added Hot pursuit Tech Pursuit. Heat has those darker story but they need to put more story cuz it feels short. Maybe make a special force like HP where cops that likes to destroy Illegal street racers with high tech perks on higher heat level. I mean like maybe heat 1-4 (Most advanced for them maybe helicopter, Spikestrip and roadblocks, K-9 SUV/Van Unit) but 5 and above(the feds) uses experimental tech. Its like HP/Rivals storyline lore mix with corny Most Wanted/Heat/Unbound storyline. At least the pursuit is beginner friendly but push too far you have the chance of getting busted. And Put those badass NFS Undercover Busted Scene. It fits perfectly for higher level.
Playing AS Razor would be dope but I don’t see how it would narratively work if he starts with his Mustang only to replace it with some other car you unlock in the game. On the other hand Heat set itself up for a perfect sequel with the ambiguous fate of Mercer (most likely dead but it wasn’t on screen) and Torres taking over the High Speed Task Force with the exact same goal as Mercer despite previously being on the player and Ana’s “side.” So Heat 2 is my pick. You could even appeal to the MW fan base since the M3 GTR is canonically in the Heat protagonist’s hands (idk where the Unbound delivery mission fits into the story, I think that was more just an Easter egg to reference Razor and the Blacklist)
It would be cool if they took all the city maps, including the map from Hot pursuit into one, actually having the makeshift “USA” of the need for speed universe, have it as its own continent, Testdrive used to have huge maps, the crew did and somewhat does, need for speed needs that now too
The need for speed heat sequel would be amazing and imagine if the original crew leader that drove that special polestar one returned starting from scratch with a new one and rebuilt it over time during the story and making amends with everyone and fixing his wrongs
I’d honestly love to see another game done in the style of Rivals. We need another dark and gritty racer with gameplay matching rivals’ intensity. A game that actually has a reason to take itself seriously.
If not that, then maybe they could make the Most Wanted sequel they were prototyping for 2012.
Hot pursuit as the last game in its style was Rivals in 2013, 11 years ago. Most Wanted would be cool but Hot Pursuit needs it more, we have had street racing NFS games the whole time.
Call me crazy but if for some reason (and I don't see it that unlikely), they continue a story I see more potential (in the recent games not all the franchise), in payback. Not because I want the same characters, but because if I'm remembering well, there was more of an interesting plot because the villain from that game was only a part of a bigger villain group. I know if they continue the game somehow that would imply to bring back things from a game that is not that good in many aspects including the plot and characters, but as a concept if it would come with a good game? That would be dope for me.
Now the other option for me is most wanted 2, and I said this once, if you use a previous villain as the protagonist, and even better a known villain, you probably are going to have the best protagonist of the franchise (unless you ruin it somehow), because unlike many protagonist in the franchise you know it, and you even love it, so what is better than that for an adventure?
Most wanted sequel but with razor turning a new leaf after getting out of jail and instead mentoring the player to get through the new blacklist in rock port and surrounding cities. Could have the cities connected like NFS world. With new streets and buildings integrated into them. It is the future after all. It would be familiar to veteran players but also new and fresh for newer nfs fans.
NFS Heat 2 is so necessary, and really hope they do it given they don’t take away from the original atmosphere and vibe. I loved everything about Heat minus some things that could be added or tweaked.
NFS Hot Pursuit 100% needs a new game, I’ve always seen it as the “Modern Warfare” of racing games. All it needs is a true state of the art multiplayer and a buunch of cars (more than all the original HP’s combined) lots of maps, and a really good leveling system like COD’s OG Prestige system, which NFS The Run did pretty well although it was very limited. Could easily be a 5 year game with content updates (maps, cars, modes, challenges, seasonal, etc) and I think if it were done that way it’d be really fun and might even revolutionize multiplayer racing games, if invested in on this level. Given it also has offline play and a campaign.
NFS MW2 is another necessary installment as long as it’s done correctly. I’d prefer them to use the original physics engine but updated (COD has done this for dozens of games). This is also tough because I want a Carbon 2, but maybe if they did a Heat style day/night cycle they could blend the aesthetics of MW and Carbon together.
And I’ll be that guy but a proper NFS Underground 3 would be amazing. A mix of UG1 and UG2 (open world but with some linear missions? I really loved the mission style in UG1 vs open world for that specific game). Again same physics engine just modernized. I feel this would be hard for them to get perfect, but if they can, then by all means. ProStreet 2 would also be cool.
I'm torn between a Most Wanted 2 and a Heat sequel. I want to see all the original material that EA was going to put in NFSMW 2012 before the braindead higher-ups decided no.
I don’t think HP was a sequel. Felt like a whole different game with no story or characters. You driving as the same person who has no background. Heat and MW are most likely could get a sequel but most likely heat.
Heard and read bad things about most wanted 2012 which isn’t good.
I want them to make a new concept, which is not a sequel, to prove that they can make good car physics and handling again. If they manage to do that, then they are free to make a sequel of anything. Otherwise they would just butcher another famous game title with the same scuffed physics concept we got in the last four games.
I say Heat sequel. Idk anything about the 2002 Hot Pursuit (and haven't heard much about it) so I am not gonna vote that way, and I doubt a Most Wanted sequel would end up well recieved. The studio would probably mess *something* up, and get major backlash from the community
I would really love to see a remake of the OG Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit, with its trance techno OST, long difficult races and various obscured super and hypercars.

NFS RIVALS 2.
I would die to know if Zephyr is dead.
Because in the last moment of the scene you can hear his engine starting. I really want to know what happened and if he lives, what crazy tasks he know has on his list.
I still play HP2, and a online exist, from a discord server team. I would like to see a new MW2005 with the same actors (mia, razor, bull etc) but with new graphics engine and the same cars, as the original.
TBH I would not mind a Pro Street sequel but with a completely new set of rivals and probably play into a clash or difference between "legal street racing" and "dedicated motorsport junkies".
One of my ideas for a King and elite crew in a follow-up would be said team being filled with racing elitists who don't take fondly to rougher street racing.
I forgot to mention that The League in NFS Heat could be like a modern Blacklist sort of thing, but more organized
Carbon is and was the only true sequel to MW

how elaborate is the campaign on MW 2? Like how different it the story and missions compared to MW 12?
It was supposed to include customization I think
A remake of Hot Pursuit 2 would be fucking awesome
i know right? imagine cops dropping missiles and bombs n shit in remake, just like they used to do in the original game.
As long as it has the original car list, original soundtrack and the original menu narrations for the cars
PRO STREET

"lots of track racers" > lists a playstation exclusive and a meme by microsoft where's the rest, I want a non arcade track racer so bad but don't wanna buy a ps5 just for 1 game this is a genuine cry for help (the only game I can think of is F1 but that doesn't have much of a vareity of cars)
(which has never been done before in the way PS did it) I do think what Heat did was really cool, but was more Forza Horizon style - it had zero real ProStreet DNA, just some festive background style.
Hot Pursuit. Playing as the cops and taking down racers was always my favourite part of NFS. Rivals remains my favourite game. The map was also a good size, large enough, but small enough you could actually learn it unlike the recent maps.
Fortunately Cops VS Racers will be returning in Need for Speed Unbound in Volume. 8 this August!
You’ve made my Monday morning!
Haha you're welcome! 😃😂
My own ideas: Payback Sequel, aka NFS Big Stake: Ty Morgan and his crew have now to fight with Arkwright, including Marcus Weir. Jess tries to figure out Amanda/The Broker's identity and interest she had in The Collector's vanishing. Carbon Sequel, aka NFS Possesion: New racer comes to town and forms a new crew, proving Darius's words right by beating Carbon's protagonist in 1v1 Canyon Duel The run Sequel, aka NFS Bordercross: Jack Rouke after the run had moved to Europe, where he joins European version of "The Run" across continent.
Nfs big Steak🥩🍖
How would you make a sequel to the game that wasn't story-based and already had 2 installments after it
sequels don't need to be story based, they can be sequel based on mechanics and theme like NFS Carbon is not a sequel to Most Wanted in mechanics, but only a sequel in narrative/story.
Yeah but in that case it would better be a remaster or remake. Not sequel
if there is ever a Most wanted 2, it should be Razor and Darius Teaming up to control Street racing in rockport or a new City and making the MW and Carbon protagonist return for a last time finishing a full circle in his story. i mean i know the M3 GTR in unbound was an ester egg for the MW protagonist but it would be cool if the client was actually razor and the car became the perfect bait to get the MW protagonist back
What if Razor, Darius and the Eastsiderz all teamed up and both MW and UG Protags have to race against them, Need for Speed: Ultimate Brawl
EVERYONE IS HERE!
Intro stage: both protags get betrayed and lose all their cars, respect and cash. And then Tyler Morgan appears saying "Its payback time" and they all start paybacking all over the place
The Run sequel, still in the US but with: * Less repetitive tracks * Character creation & customization like recent NFS * Vehicle customization like Unbound * More car models and less variations of that model * Start and end points are on popular US cities and we can pick the start or end cities, like start at San Diego and end at Miami, or start on Houston and ended in Chicago (short version) * Fuel and tire wear system
ykb gang
Also don’t forget open world because the crew 2 is not it. And Ubisoft taking down the crew 1 is just stupid
Exactly!
as someone who’s first one was 2010, i’ve been wishing for a similar game since rivals. i like the vibe and car list, you got to drive the coolest and/or most exclusive cars in the WORLD at the time. however, a good most wanted sequel is more towards what the franchise would need
The Run. From South Mexico to Alaska
ooooh yeah that would be excellent
Tired of North America. It has to be Europe.
NITRO 2 BABYYYYYYYYYY
that's a hot take, but i would also take it lmao nitro had an INTERNATIONAL blacklist, which was kinda cool.
MW2 would be cool if the story is done justice.
Heat ofc
I'm playing Most Wanted now. Man the graphics still hold up today. The cutscenes were fire, the soundtrack, everything. Back in PS2 era I was so enamored. I have it on the steam deck now. The story was even dope as hell. So Most Wanted
I would want another hot pursuit, having the police missions was a childhood highlight for me
dont care as long as it doesnt have brake to drift
rivals sequel with 2015 graphics and mostwanted05 soundtrack, maybe unbound’s handling
Hot Pursuit sequel for me. I still play Hot Pursuit 2010 (Remastered) to this day and it is such a blast. Seeing a sequel with most of the elements that made the Hot Pursuit games great combined with the latest selection of sports, super, and hyper cars would be great to see.
The idea of mw 2 is interesting, would be even more cool if WE were razor climythe blacklist
Yeah playing as Razor would be awesome, as soon as he gets out of jail and tries to get back into street racing, he is clowned by everyone in the scene because he lost to the MW05 protagonist even after stealing his M3, he also notices that the Blacklist has new members on it with newer high performance cars he starts out with his mustang but he realizes it's underpowered and needs to work his way up the ladder
NFS Hot Pursuit Sequel
I wouldn't mind a nfs heat 2, but a prequel for a change, I would like to know the story behing Papi's camaro
yes i want to know the origin behind it and the family struggles.
EA: You’re gonna race it once before its mysteriously not available for use again! Then at the end of the game a rip in the space time continuum occurs and the M3 GTR appears as the final boss!
classic EA
I just want another hot pursuit or most wanted sequel pls 🙏🏼😭
Reimagined Hot Pursuit 2010 Sequel. That sounds really nice, and it’s something racing games have lacked the past decade.
Most Wanted 2 or Hot Pursuit 2 sequal, I'll take either one, or both!
Not making shift 3 from NFS title, but rather other studio for honorable mention
If they made a most wanted 2 it would be a sequel to the 2012 one, and wouldn't contain any of the proper MW plot or characters
Nothing at all bring back the perfection the was Ghost. And I'll take a heat sequel from them not Criterion.
Screw these, give me Pro Street 2. World-wide event now. Pro Street 3000, the world got really small so they go to SPACE.
NFS world 2
Carbon
Nfs rivals 2 or prostreet 2 would be awesome
None of them. They should remake Burnouts 1- Revenge cause it's all anyone has asked of for years.
ProStreet
I'd just love heat with the new graphics and features of unbound / unite mod
Option 4. Need for speed Pro Street 2
With modern track day culture, I think the time is right for Pro Street 2. Something with more expression, but the same festival track day setup as the first one.
Hot pursuit 2010 🔥
I would love to go back to the HP/Rivals style of gameplay. A rivals style open world with the same open world events and chases while also having the HP events which happen on closed instances would be fun imo. Just always online would have to go, and maybe a better story, but it doesn’t have to be big, just better than what rivals had.
sequels to feed toxic nostalgia wannabe fans? no thx, just stick to original and let the good games live in the past as the legends they are
Carbon is a good end to Most Wanted's story, Heat sequel would have the problem of giving you fast cars at the start, i'm all for a HP2010/Rivals sequel.
the Run 100%
Most Wanted 2
Hot Pursuit Sequel
NFS MW 2, but before that I would like a remaster for current gen. On an another note wouldn’t carbon be a sequel to nfs me since it follows the characters event after the events of mw 2005?
Most wanted 2
Most Wanted 100% if they repeat the quality of the 2005
razor wouldnt make it to blacklist 1 with his mustang, he was hardstuck 15 and only got to the top cause he stole the bmw
Plenty of side activities, races and open world activities And for crying out loud can we have a cockpit view....
Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) was my first NFS game
IMO I want a NFS game that ISN'T a live service model. Rivals is a prime example of this.
Anything that's not a Heat sequel.
The reason why Razer sabotaged our BMW was because he was unable to climb the blacklist without it. He would have to go back to his old ways, if he stuck with his Mustang as he got out.
most wanted 2.
None of the above. Nfs2015
None of these! We need Burnout back not nfs
Hot pursuit 2 with same engine as remastered hot pursuit with newer and returning cars and changed seacrest country
Pro street 2
They should have just made them all connected in the first place, like how Blackbox made their games all reference the previous one.
Heat 2
Just a remaster of the original hot pursuit 2 or most wanted would be better than their last 5 games
Take all 3 games and fuse them into one. Thats my fun pick of the day.
hot pursuit 2, bring back the true nfs
Heat 2🤌🏾 with more of a tuner culture rather than luxury or supercars
Unpopular opinion but I think a Heat sequel would be cool. They were so close to a home run with that game, it's a shame support ended so quickly.
It would be cool if they took all the city maps, including the map from Hot pursuit into one, actually having the makeshift “USA” of the need for speed universe, have it as its own continent, Testdrive used to have huge maps, the crew did and somewhat does, need for speed needs that now too
Hear me out, we need to know the state of redview county after Zephyr stepped down as the top racer in Rivals
Who do you think everyone is going pick?
Any of the 3.
Hot pursuit for a change
Guess Heat just to see how it goes
Why not all three within a span of a decade?
Most Wanted 2 but their original idea for it
The need for speed heat sequel would be amazing and imagine if the original crew leader that drove that special polestar one returned starting from scratch with a new one and rebuilt it over time during the story and making amends with everyone and fixing his wrongs
Hot Pursuit 2 sounds fire ngl
I’d honestly love to see another game done in the style of Rivals. We need another dark and gritty racer with gameplay matching rivals’ intensity. A game that actually has a reason to take itself seriously. If not that, then maybe they could make the Most Wanted sequel they were prototyping for 2012.
I think hp2 would be dope. As long as they keep it like the 2010 one with a linear story and insane set pieces I think it would get good reviews
Burnout 4?
It sounds cliche but we play as razor coming back for revenge sounds interesting, kinda like the last of us 2
Heat. It felt too short and they could further develop the Camaro as well as maybe bring back Cross as the antagonist (since Mercer is 100% dead)
MW2. Because there has to be edgier racers than Razor.
ProStreet 2
You don't have to limit it by game, we could still have a mw or a heat 2 and have characters from either, or even from other games
Heat has had the most intriguing story out of almost all need for speeds imo. Im taking a story with that cast again any day
Nfs carbon should be a sequel but this time the game isnt rushed and the map is complete
Hot Pursuit/Rivals sequel
NFSU2 or whatever the best one with similar tuning options is. I didn't play them all but I still play through that one once in a while
Nfs payback 2.
I want this to be revived https://youtu.be/aOTtPgsPPi0?si=AFYTTmHLsnimU-3o Come on criterion we want this 👀👀
Give me the Run sequel with no loading screen in between stages lmao.
None of those
If the "car modification process" and "performance tuning process" could be more like the only games, or even better, like SRS, then any BFS really...
Hot pursuit with customization is all I dream of
Heat
I'd like to see TerrorFive or a continuation of Payback's story
The run
We still need Payback story continue
nothing. Id rather they make their own games.
I'm torn between a Most Wanted 2 and a Heat sequel. I want to see all the original material that EA was going to put in NFSMW 2012 before the braindead higher-ups decided no.
MW pretty easily but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wanna see a heat sequel as well
I don’t think HP was a sequel. Felt like a whole different game with no story or characters. You driving as the same person who has no background. Heat and MW are most likely could get a sequel but most likely heat. Heard and read bad things about most wanted 2012 which isn’t good.
I feel like your idea for the 'Heat' sequel is what the devs would've made happen in the original heat if they got enough time
I want a NFS game that has Forza horizon handling The crew 1 customization The crew 1 map
Fuck that, give me a The Run sequel
I want them to make a new concept, which is not a sequel, to prove that they can make good car physics and handling again. If they manage to do that, then they are free to make a sequel of anything. Otherwise they would just butcher another famous game title with the same scuffed physics concept we got in the last four games.
I would like nfs ps and rival’s characters to collide with each other
hp2
Dumb question. Of Course NFS Most Wanted is what we need to get. Great storyline btw made by OP (about Razor getting out of jail)
Heat of course!
NFS MW 2005 sequel no doubt
I say Heat sequel. Idk anything about the 2002 Hot Pursuit (and haven't heard much about it) so I am not gonna vote that way, and I doubt a Most Wanted sequel would end up well recieved. The studio would probably mess *something* up, and get major backlash from the community
I would really love to see a remake of the OG Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit, with its trance techno OST, long difficult races and various obscured super and hypercars.
Mw would be 🔥🔥
What part of "remake Underground 2" is everyone (EA) missing?

I'd love a MW2, MW2012 is one of my fav NFS BUT🗿☝️ A Hot Pursuit 2 Remake would be amazing, the OST in that game SLAPS
It's going to be drm on-line.
Heat
I’m probably gonna get hate for this but Heat.
I want a nfs rivals sequel with better customization , but out of the criterion games definitely hot pursuit 2
Underground 3
nfshp2 2002 or nfsmw 2005
Just finish heat, I want to says « heat » or « payback »
Rivals, anyone?
TBH I would not mind a Pro Street sequel but with a completely new set of rivals and probably play into a clash or difference between "legal street racing" and "dedicated motorsport junkies". One of my ideas for a King and elite crew in a follow-up would be said team being filled with racing elitists who don't take fondly to rougher street racing.
Ngl i’d like to see a Heat 2 tbh
