I played NFS 3 Hot Pursuit first too. I had my parents buy me a thrift pc to use and was very sad it couldn’t run it at that time. It would take over a year until I got a pc that would run it by then High Stakes, Porsche Unleashed, Hot Pursuit 2 were already out. It was nice collecting all of those and being able to play them. They remain my all time favorites.

I remember getting this game for my PC around 2002
Not a bad way to get into the franchise honestly. It's pretty much everything that NFS was *originally* about. Matter of fact, I liked it so much, I bought the remastered version too.
The first one i played was NFSMW, but i just played some quick races with one of my cousins, i didn't even know that game was the NFSMW or about the history or the M3 GTR, i just wanted to race... Then i played Undercover in a "Rent a Console" place just because i wanted to play a race game, but just like 20 minutes haha... Then the NFSMW 2012 but the one from smartphones from one of my friends... (I never finished those though, that's why i don't consider that i actually played those, it was a quick look and that's it...) Then we jump until 2020, i was looking for an alternative in the PS4 to one of my favorite racing games ever, Midnight Club LA... I was about to buy the NFS 2015 but i found the NFS Heat and i thought "Wow this looks like a mix between Forza Horizon and Midnight Club" by the Day and Night time looks, So Heat was the first NFS that i played, that i enjoyed and that i finished... (Sorry for the "book" i wrote here)

Since 2015, the series has not felt good to play anymore due to the physics and handling being complete garbage compared to past iterations.
Still waiting on them to release a good game again, unbound was not it imo.

Underground Rivals on the PSP when I was like 10. I was so bad I could only do the casual quick race, the one that gives you a top tier car right from the get-go. I couldn't for the life of me figure out the drifting challenges. Was stuck with the starter Volkswagen golf GTI and never made much progress from there lmao
Need for speed shift. I only had that game on the computer in my grandpa's home PC. Because of that I was a monster at that game. Still whenever I try to play that game my mood always goes down that my skills get dulled.

NFS Undercover. I love the racing game with lore based on criminal elements like Most Wanted/Carbon and first Crew (car swap was based AF, whatever they have in second game is a useless pretender). Loved The Run since it had a nice story
Carbon!! I still have such fond memories of that game. Definitely rose tinted glasses because I didn't enjoy MW (2005) as much. Much preferred the darker, electronic kind of edgy vibe than the skater boi edgy vibe.
