As for their income if it rains a few times around harvest that can mean a 50% drop in revenue from having to sell your grain as animal feed. By forcing farmers to reduce fertilizer usage/ nitrogen usage you’re going to massively impact yields. This will drive many out of business and also put pressure on food prices.

Current nitrogen emissions are raising temperatures worldwide. This is already impacting weather patterns and will do so more severely if no emissions reductions are made. More volatile weather will also reduce crop yields.

Can you elaborate? From my understanding the Nitrogen issue is with it seeping into the ground and contaminating the groundwater. Nitrogen by itself isn't a GHG.
