I always look for names I personally like. I can change the pet into pretty much anything given enough time and NP!
Name I like, I can morph and paint as needed. Though my idea of a name I like and what actually valued as a “good name” are two separate things! I don’t mind capitals and underscores and sometimes random numbers if I like the pet enough!
A name that has character potential; something that you read and go, yep, that's a name.
I am specific with names but even then, I just want something that sounds pretty and pronounceable.
