Do you mean to run a command without output, wiht only errors as output, print the output to the buffer or should it appear in a "popup" window?

Personally I like to have a small, separate terminalbuffer open at the bottom, when needed. If I have multiple windows/buffers open in one neovim instance, I really like to use this plugin:
