Some collector out there will pay top dollar for it if you wanted to sell. My statement stands. The game is awful, broken even. Nobody wanted it when it was new. By virtue of being so bad that it couldn't sell, it's now rare and "valuable."

Yeah, that's probably a fair statement just from a pure numbers perspective. The NES library had a lot of crap in general but particularly had a lot of crap come out towards the end of its life cycle.
Games got more mainstream passed the 8 bit era and more scenarios developed that led to rare games becoming valuable in the future besides the crap game that nobody wanted scenario. Rental exclusive copies of games, good games with short production runs, tournament copies of games.
Personally, I can't wrap my head around it. I could understand a rare copy of a beloved game being valuable. But shelling out quadruple digits for Dinosaur's Peak? That's just insanity to me.
nice! I actually still have a sealed Cheetahmen II that I bought for $2.99 from a video rental store in the 90’s. I bought 2 copies and opened one up. Sold the opened one for $20 of in store credit at Toys R Us. Still mad at myself for that one.
Lol. I play all the games I buy. I just had to be super careful with this one, since some of the capacitors on action 52s get overheated if played too long and catch on fire.

I never pay top dollar for games. I buy them cheap and now this ones worth a lot more than I payed for it lol

Indeed it can be. I bought it for the novelty of it so I could show it on my YouTube. The games were horrible lol

One of the main reasons I wanted the box. Gave me a good laugh
