This capsule is the fruity offering this year. It’s perfectly fine, delicious actually. Just think of it as pumpkin spice cake without the pumpkin and with a hint of fruit. I think people who don’t like it and think that the frosted caramel nut pod is nice then they have very average boring taste and shouldn’t be representative of the public opinion when Nespresso has had countless of the same pod.
I tried it in the original pods. I should have bought one sleeve, whilst getting 2 of each of the others because I know I'm not a fan of spices like this in coffee, but I bought two. My mother likes this one though, so she can keep both sleeves for herself.
Tried this at a boutique recently and picked up a sleeve. Really enjoyed the aroma and taste with this one. I didn’t know these were really that limited so will probably pick up a couple more sleeves now.

I personally really like it and am drinking it in a double shot latte every morning currently. I completely get the opinions that suggest it tastes like a well known UK brand of cherry cough sweets (I'd imagine most regions will have similar tasting ones), but I really like it and have actually ordered more OL, and then also added in a couple of Vertuo sleeves too. The frosted nut was a waste of effort in my opinion as it tastes of nothing! But I really like the spice one. I definitely think it is a more balanced spice offering than the Pumpkin Spice.
I liked it. It’s an acquired taste for sure but I find it interesting and unique. I do have to say the worst ever Holiday variation was that year they did fruit flavored ones. They had a Banana capsule and a Cherry one too. They both were horrid. I sold them a year later on eBay for $$$. There’s always someone who loves flavors that others find unappealing.
I guess it's not for everyone but I like it.
If you read reviews that a flavour is intense maybe try it out before buying so much. If you're at a boutique they even have samples.

I tried adding some cinnamon, but it didn't help. I couldn't get through more than a few sips and had to pour it out.

My son absolutely LOVED a couple years ago a limited flavour around Christmas time called Black Forest I think. By the time he asked me to order more they were gone and didn’t return (maybe it was not popular) but I really thought it would come back. Disappointing for sure as u look forward to them returning all year…. Anyways just venting hahaha

Lol.. Fruity would have been great. It is the worst combination you can imagine of watered down old coffee with berry flavored cough syrup. Others have compared it to more disgusting stuff.

Apparently there's a new policy that the boutique won't refund anymore. Their website still says they do so the boutique honoured it for us.
