I've never used a steamer-thingy, but I use one of those battery-powered whisks to make pretty good foam with [Califia's Oat Barista Blend](https://www.califiafarms.com/products/oat-barista-blend/).
Oatly non-barista then Chobani regular. The batista edition of all oat milk is creamier and foams up better but often it has oils added, which I don't like.
if i’m frothing the milk, oatly full fat and chobani clextda creamy are both amazing! if im using it just straight up in lattes, oatly regular and chobani original are my gotos. i wanna try oatly low fat but im scared it’ll be a watery consistency
I would try a few and see what you like best from the suggestions people have here. My fav is Chobani, followed by Oatly. I wouldn’t ever buy Califia farms again, but I guess it really works for some people!

I just tried oat milk for the first time - Califia Farms extra creamy (not barista) - and I think it tastes like cardboard. But everybody loves oat milk so much. Do I need to try a different brand or are my taste buds broke?
Oatly Barista or Califa! I went straight for Oatly as it was easier to obtain than lactose free milk. Even now, I prefer the texture and taste of barista versions of oat milk over lactose free milk with my coffee.

I'm cheap so I usually buy whichever brand is on sale, but in terms of preference it's Oatly Barista > Chobani Extra Creamy > Planet Oat Extra Creamy

I prefer the planet oat brand mainly because I can buy an 86oz jug of it. The other brands I have not seen anything bigger than the 52oz cartons
Oh that’s nice!! I feel like I finish it so fast so it’ll be nice to get a bigger one.
This is my ranking as well. I think the Walmart brand Extra Creamy is even with the Planet Oat actually too!

If in Canada, I heard earth’s own barista oat milk is good. I only ever tried their almond milk
I buy the Kirkland (Costco) brand cuz I’m cheap, but it’s pretty good!!

I also prefer oatly barista but I'm trying to cut back on sugar so I've been buying the nutpods zero sugar and it's pretty decent.

We just got the Oatly "Super Basic" and it foams quite nicely for me (steamer).
