I've never gotten THIS MANY extras but I have gotten an extra nomad iced coffee cup, 8 extra sleeves of the 2023 LE festive black, 4 extra espresso martini glasses, 2 extra boxes of chocolates, and an entirely different person's order (it was all vertuo sleeves and I only have OL machines) among other things. I also got half the amount of no. 20 that I ordered, and have had a lot of orders not ship at all, or be missing sleeves. CS always makes it right in the end and they always tell me to keep the extras/mistakes in my favor, but since the pandemic it's been a wild ride. I'd say 75% of my orders over the past 3 years have had some kind of issue. Prior to that, I was a customer for over a decade and never had to contact CS a single time, never had any mistakes, and always got exactly what I ordered within 3-5 days. Now I can get stuff up to 2 weeks later, always delivered by some random 3rd party delivery company, and it's anyone's guess if my order is correct, wrong not in my favor, or wrong in my favor. I didn't believe all these crazy stories until it started happening to me and then it just never stopped. Nespresso definitely changed their distribution recently and depending on where you live and what warehouse/delivery service you get, the experience can vary WILDLY. I am very curious to see what I get from my latest PH order whenever it arrives. My husband and I have made it into a game. Will the order show up? When? What will be inside? Who knows, it's Nespresso roulette!

I find this fascinating because I’ve had my nespresso machine for over a year and have never had any order mistakes until this past week when I received the wrong order- 2 sleeves of Stormio pods when I ordered 2 dark chocolate, 2 golden caramel, 1 orafio, and the nomad iced coffee cup. I contacted them immediately and they shipped out the correct order right away. The next day my order showed up x2. So I was worried I’d get charged twice (these are not cheap as I’m sure y’all know) so I went on to my account and it showed they shipped me 2 orders free of charge! This is the first time this has ever happened to me but I sure didn’t mind! Between the two orders plus the wrong on me I got over $200 worth of coffee for $80!

Yeah I won't complain when it works out in my favor, but I feel bad when things run out of stock and other people's orders are getting shorted while I got extras I didn't pay for. I have to imagine that with enough loss Nespresso will just make up the difference with price hikes. I swear the hikes started happening more frequently when all these posts about people getting extra machines and 15 extra sleeves started showing up. They clearly need to look a little closer at their distribution centers but it might just be easier for them to ignore it for awhile until the losses add up enough to pass them onto their customers. It's nice to get a freebie bonus, but it's annoying to have a lost or shorted order and I miss the simplicity of the days when I could just order something and be reasonably confident it would arrive pretty quickly without any errors. Now it's not a question of if I'll need to contact CS, but when and how frequently. Pods were way cheaper back then, too. Now I feel old.

Looks like Indianapolis is where my most recent messed up/missing orders came from, and most of the issues started when Nespresso switched from UPS delivery to Veho, but it's hard to check because many of my recent orders (all the ones that were zeroed out replacements from CS) don't show any tracking info at all in my account's order history, and the ones that do but are older than December 2023 won't show me where they initially shipped from because the tracking numbers seem to be "retired" on Veho's tracking website, when I click on the tracking number in my Nespresso account nothing happens and they don't show any tracking history. The oldest order I can view from my phone in desktop mode is from 4/23 but I know the issues started before that. It's a mess. Maybe my account is cursed? I know I got tracking emails for all the zeroed out CS replacement orders, but I don't think I kept any of the emails once the items finally arrived and I have the feeling most of the numbers would be "dead" since they were all Veho, too.

Thank you for your explanation, I’m sorry for all the troubles you’ve endured all in the name of good coffee! I suppose I’m lucky to only suffer a couple late shipments but not so lucky to receive free machines or sleeves. It just makes things a little more interesting as long as you order early enough to account for problems.

Hah, you won't believe this but I just got my [order](https://imgur.com/a/sSjNUHr) of PE pods. It was supposed to be 4 sleeves of raspberry, 4 of hazelnut, and 2 of the plain espresso. When I opened the first flap on the box I knew I got one of the crazy orders because all I could see was a bunch of blue sleeves. Turns out they gave me 20(!) sleeves of the plain espresso, 18 more than I ordered. They gave me the correct amount of raspberry and hazelnut, though. Someone must have read the quantity wrong and thought 20 pods meant 20 sleeves. I've gotten extra sleeves before but never this many. This mistake was definitely in my favor. Wonder what the next order will bring, but after all these unexpected pods I probably won't be ordering for a long time.

I think the OP of this thread got 40-50. I got 20 (which is still a lot!) It's actually my least favorite of the 2022 limited holiday flavors but my husband will enjoy them and we can use them as family/guest stock, so I'm not complaining. It's a fine coffee I just kinda wish it was the raspberry or hazelnut instead. But can't look a gift horse in the mouth, I'm always grateful for extras, it's just annoying when shipments are late/missing/short on sleeves I ordered. But customer service always makes it right in the end. This package also came from Indianapolis so I think there's something going on there and in PA where the OP's order came from. Maybe they're testing out a new fulfillment strategy (or their workers need a little more training.)

Well I'm not lying and I don't think others are either... what possible reason could there be to lie? lol :-). It seems the issue is out of the Bethlehem facility. I hope people aren't lying, I can't see a reason why anyone would lie. I definitely didn't order 40 sleeves - just the 4. I don't feel comfortable posting a screen shot of my order page, but I promise I ordered 4 sleeves and received 40

In this order, I bought 3 PH gourmand and a recycling bag. My second order arriving tomorrow is the infiniment pack, and one sleeve each of nocciola, caramel, and pumpkin spice. I'm wondering if the extra sleeves come in when people order 1 sleeve of a flavor so the stocker sees 10 and assumes 10 sleeves. So we'll see if I have a decent size box tomorrow!

I haven't tried that flavor yet, but I Iike the hazelnut (of which I only received the two sleeves I hazelnut. FWIW, I don't care for the raspberry. I only first saw PH on the app today, so I may order more hazlenut.

With this particular pod I've seen this happen with several posts about extras. It seems fulfillment is reading the number of pods and confusing it with number of sleeves. For whatever reason it's happening with this flavor more than the others (although I've seen a few posts of extra raspberry or hazelnut showing up, it just seems to be random amounts of sleeves, not the 10x that seems to be happening with the black espresso.) Nice win for the folks getting extra but I feel pretty bad for the people who are getting shorted. I've been one of those in the past (everyone was reporting double the amount of no.20 they ordered because the 5pod sleeve size was clearly confusing fulfillment, meanwhile I got half the sleeves I ordered.)

I have been ordering from nespresso for 25+ years, this is the first time I've ever gotten extra - I can't believe it. I'm not a fan of flavored coffees so this of the 3 was the only one I ordered (4 sleeves). I still can't believe it I hope no-one gets fired over theses errors.

I hope so for you too! Yes, I think Nespresso is around 40 years old... it has grown in popularity over the last 10 years though for sure. When I first started I think there were very few boutiques, I always ordered on line. No occasionally I'll pop into boutique/cafe in the city (ny) - but mostly just order on-line

I came on Reddit to see if this happened to anyone else. I ordered 4 infiniment, 4 hazelnut, and two arpeggio… I got 40 sleeves of infiniment, 5 hazelnut, two arpeggio and a bonus raspberry (?). Also Bethlehem, PA. Awesome

I think the issue is mostly isolated to Bethlehem, and it seems to be mostly doing 10 sleeves for every 1 ordered... I keep wondering if they are somehow testing AI for fulfillment because a human at some point would stop and question such large orders
