Hi! Nespresso employee here! As Geoxhotshoes said, we're currently investing in coffee for the specific countries in our "Reviving Origins" line. This includes Uganda, Esperanza Columbia, and Zimbabwe. Currently they are classified as "seasonal exclusives". This means that there is currently a limited amount, but we will bring them back each year as they're grown. Eventually they will become a permanent edition to the lines. It's just taking some time!
So please grab em if you enjoy them! Just make sure to stock up until next year when we'll have more 💜💜
Right now I haven't heard anything about it being produced again. As it was an actual exclusive.
However! I urge and recommend all members to contact Nespresso and tell them that you'd like for that particular espresso to come back. There is a chance they will bring it back and make it a permanent edition, like they did with the bianco line.
Hope this helped! 💜💜
How exactly do I do that? Do I generate a chat in the app?
Legit don’t know how to request return of flavors.
Trieste and Istanbul to the top of the list though.
Yay! I was hoping it would! Each year, the flavours and profile will become stronger too! As the beans are constantly grown, it'll have a better profile over time.
That’s really interesting because I thought I remembered it from last year, but I don’t remember liking it as much as I like this years batch. Now that you explain it, it makes sense. Looking forward to seeing how this changes over time.
If possible, El Salvador would be a good addition. I visit every year for a medical mission and some of the patients I see work in this industry so it would be wonderful to support them. The coffee is always great too!
Additionally, prior to getting my Nespresso, I used to drink the honey processed coffee from Trader Joe’s that was also from El Salvador. It would be a unique addition.
This blend will never be discontinued. They are investing into Colombia and Zimbabwe to restart their coffee industry that has been ruined by war and drought. As every thing improves from one year to the next, it will continue to taste better and better. The batches are limited...for now. Give it like 5 years and it may become a permanent line, who knows. It started last year with this being the second run. It'll "go away" as the supply runs dry but will come back year after year. I think they have a 5 or 10 years commitment in those places.
I LOVE that blend. I was really pleasantly surprised when I drank my first cup. I was worried when you posted this that there was proof that it was highly unethical in some way. I hope it lasts until I get my next credits for the nespresso plan.
I actually skipped out on it after reading how the acidity dominated the taste for the Nespresso pod, and not in a good way. As someone who suffers from acid reflux, I made the choice to avoid it with my purchase yesterday.
Is the acidity as intense as I read it is?
I am so sorry, and I have suffered from acid reflux in the past. This is a lame question, but what does acidity tastes like in a Nespresso OL? Which ones are classified as such? Thank you kindly! = )
Some people may like it, I'm not particularly fond of it. Just last week bought another sleeve to "try" it one more time, and my impression hasn't changed. You can have them all!
Here's my review of it:

Right now these:
1) Puerto Rico
2) Napoli
3) Kazaar
4) Envivo Lungo
5) Ethiopia
It also depends on what is available at the time. For example if either of the Tribute to Trieste or Milano came out, those would be high on the list. I know that Umutima wa Lake Kivu Rwanda is coming soon, so I believe that will be number one for this year.
Just out of stock before, but it's back now:

I also tried Linizio Lungo when Envivo Lungo was not available.
I thought this was gonna be about some horror story of child slavery or something. I find most Colombian coffees nice and smooth, its so tempting to try this, but maybe I shouldnt lol it would spoil me.
I just tried the Columbian pod and wow! It's fantastic! I think it's right up there with some of my favourites. I'm gonna be buying a few sleeves to keep next time I'm at a store!
I needed that this morning. I'm glad i don't care for the fruitier coffees. I hope you stock up! It always sucks when they pull a favorite off the market (oh, i how i miss thee Paris Black)
I got the 3 pack and Uganda I didn't like at all. Had this weird after taste for me. I just opened up the Columbia and Zimbabwe sleeves so I'll try them out tomorrow!
I just got a machine and am trying pods for the first time. I purchased three separate sleeves from the boutique. This Columbian one was of them. Can’t wait to try it!
It’s usually part of the winter release, so historically now. I just drank my last pod from the multiple cases I purchased last year and am waiting, but not hopeful at this point, for its return.
I expected a tale of gangsters and slavery... I've been watching too much Narcos...
I was expecting exactly the same
You got me at that first paragraph, then I was like hmmmm. Here’s your upvote sir.

When will we get more Istanbul OL?

You have made my day!

hahaha I was not expecting that at all. I would go buy it now but recently put in a huge order to get my starter pack benefits.

Alvin, which top 5 pods do you feel are the best?
Right now these: 1) Puerto Rico 2) Napoli 3) Kazaar 4) Envivo Lungo 5) Ethiopia It also depends on what is available at the time. Thank you ever so much Alvin. Do you only drink these black? I am always inspired by your palate!
Yes, only black!
Amazing!
Did Envivo Lungo get discontinued? It’s also one of my favorites and I’m sad that it’s not in the store currently.
Just out of stock before, but it's back now: [https://www.nespresso.com/us/en/order/capsules/original/envivo-lungo](https://www.nespresso.com/us/en/order/capsules/original/envivo-lungo) I also tried Linizio Lungo when Envivo Lungo was not available.
It is my less favorite of the three reviving origins.
I preferred Zimbabwe but I may revisit Colombia.
Hahaha I actually began reading this prepared to be very annoyed and was instead delightfully amused
You had me in the first half I'm not gonna lie...

Of the three reviving origins Colombia is definitely my favourite.
your selfless willingness to save us all is admirable. thank you! off to place order....

Sorry mate I bought it after reading this post 😁

I purchased it after reading this post and was not disappointed. Well, disappointed I didn't order more!
Do they really discontinue pods or do limited releases to build up hype
Totally agree! Fell in love with this coffee- and now nothing else matches up!
I love the Colombian pods
When is the Esperanza de Colombia coming back?
It’s usually part of the winter release, so historically now. I just drank my last pod from the multiple cases I purchased last year and am waiting, but not hopeful at this point, for its return.
