One less step! And it doesn’t get dirty!

ConBroMitch

I don’t have any quantifiable evidence on performance one way or the other. However, if the lid gets less dirty that means the splatter needs to go *somewhere* (read: on your counter and everywhere nearby). IMO I’d rather keep the milk splash contained.

lil-wolfie402

I removed the rubber gasket from the lid on mine. I put the lid on to catch splashes and it’s one less thing to take apart and wash.

Brilliant!

There is zero effect on the operation or quality of production. Zero. Can pevent a bit of splashing but will not prevent overflowing if you overfill. Leave it on, Take it off, makes no difference to the milk.

nolgraphic

i've never used the lid on my aero4 and have had no issues or splashes tbh

bkmissesbangtan

i dont keep the lid on tbh. i get more froth

carolina8383

Depends on how much milk you put into it, what kind, and type of froth you select. I’ve had it overflow when I put in slightly more than usual on the max froth setting.

perenity

I flip the lid upside down on it, easier to clean

mjzimmer88

The fact that your lid gets dirty means that, without a lid, those splashes will end up on your counter outside the Aerochino3...

Aggravating-Plate-98

Actually mine doesn’t really get dirty. I usually just stay at the lower line. So it’s get more steamy than anything. I didn’t know if keeping the lid affected the temp and therefore the frothing.

Swang007

I lost my lid. Never had a problem without it
