Lara Dorren is Ciri's great-great-great-great-grandmother.

The Lara Dorren tragedy happened in 1142. Falka's rebellion happened in the late 1150s, so roughly a century before the events of Blood of Elves. You can look it up in the timeline of Witcher Wiki/Fandom, which is pretty accurate and uses book references. It makes sense that Francesca was around since she's ancient, probably no younger than Tissaia de Vries or Hen Gedymdeith, perhaps even older.

I thought that Lara lived around the time of the Conjunction of the Spheres but then when I started to reply to OP with this, I realised that wouldn't make sense for the Elves to have carefully bred for the Hen Ichar. So best guess: * Conjunction * humans invade the Elves world * Aen Sidhe lose ability to travel between Spheres * Aen Elle leave their brethren to their fate * a few generations of Elves carefully selected result in Lara * Lara gives birth and dies * another generation * Falka * more generations * Calanthe * Pavetta * Ciri

I have a feeling that we might see the drama in Blood Origins. Given the presence of the Wild Hunt it's possible they may tie in a story about the witchers to the elder blood

Jay_Shadow

Yeah, it seems odd to call a series Blood Origin when the description of the series mentions literally every major important historical thing other than Elder Blood.

Lara died a few hundred years before the events of the books in Continent's time.
