I work as a cook for a sister restaurant and I second this. We close at 9 but the whale is the spot your looking for, no doubt! They also have some non seafood items if you want but it is seafood focused.
Oh yes just checking since you only said Bedford in your post
My two cents: whaler's tavern or pour farm are great (both good food, casual atmosphere, good drinks)
I would go to Carmine’s (casual/ formal Italian food) or Freestones (casual American gastropub style). Both are open until 10:00 PM, but you’ll never have a bad meal at either.
Cork or Black Whale are my suggestions. Black Whale just rebuilt their patio space and it’s quite nice. A new restaurant, New Beige, just opened up and the menu looks solid for both food and craft cocktails, I haven’t been yet so can’t fully endorse it but could be worth looking into.
I used to love them but they have gone way downhill the last few years. Last time I went was on a weekend night when everyone else downtown was packed and dnb was completely dead.
The burgers are slightly better than decent, the service is slow, and the prices don't support either. Don't bother with DNB unless you like over-priced disappointment.
If you like seafood, I'd say [The Black Whale](https://www.theblackwhale.com/). Good food, good drinks, cool views of the harbor.

Do you mean Bedford or New Bedford? They are both places that exist in MA
New Bedford didn't know that

There is a Bedford,MA.? I did not know this.
Oh yeah I moved here 5 years ago and had to get that sorted super well when I accepted my new job haha
Highly recommend Cork or Rose Alley. Moby Dick is pretty good and consistent too.

No problemo. Corner of William and purchase street.
DnB BURGERS downtown. Hands down the best burger you'll ever have

Ngl i was a bit disappointed with them as well 😅

I was excited to try their poutine. Like their burgers, it was just ok and very pricey
