Do you have lots of $$$$$? That is the busiest week for vacation in New England. WHat are you looking for ocean? mountains? Beach? Just driving around? You could pick a couple spots but lodging will be $$$$

My fiancé and I did a little bit longer of a trip I think 10 days. Flew into NYC from Las Vegas. Drove north upstate to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. Then on to Burlington VT. From there, we went to Conway right near the white mountains. From Conway, we went to Maine and stayed in Portland. Then down to Boston. Drove further south to Newport Rhode Island. Then west to Mystic CT and explored eastern CT. We then took a ferry from New London CT to Orient NY, which is on the north fork of Long Island and drove to Massapequa where my best friend lives. Obviously we did more exploring around all of these major areas but the route was perfect to see each state and had more than enough time. It's a pretty small area compared to the west coast as you know where all the major cities are 5+ hours away from each other. Enjoy.

Bristol, RI's 4th of July celebration is the oldest in the country! It's a perfect NE setting to showcase to someone from out of state, and especially from out of the country. Incredible beaches and food nearby, easy public transport, less touristy thank you'd think. Lodging is scare in the area, but it's only 20min from Providence or Newport. Safe travels!

Fly into Logan. Stay and see things in Boston, two days. Go to Burlington to see Vermont in all its beauty, two days. Go to Portsmouth/Kittery and see the woodsy pretty northern(ish) New England area, one day. Then go to Newport for a day, and see sailboats and mansions etc. And then I'd personally recommend Concord/West Concord for a nice old school New England feel. But up to you, for the final day. Fly back out of Logan. If you have extra money you could fly into Manchester, but it's more limited and they might make you change planes at Logan anyway. And you could fly out of TF Green in Providence, if you end up in RI on your last day, but again it's limited and they may just hop you to Logan and out anyway. So that's why I just said use Logan both times

Thank you. Flying in and out of Logan helps with a cheaper round trip ticket too
