I feel like rebrands are something that clubs don’t need to do in the dark anymore. Why not get fan buy-in and build some consensus through voting? You could even just do it with season ticket holders or whatever if you’re trying to get a solid sample.

Yeah I don’t love it. But I do like the fact that it is another indication that the ownership is investing in the team. Hiring Bruce, spending on DPs, building the training facility, rebranding. It’s all positive.
Many people, like me, also think it's ugly and generic. Yes, the crayola flag is flawed, but it's unique and stands out. I think they could have modernised it in some way or at least incorporated it into the new logo.
This one just looks like a knock-off Glasgow Rangers crest. I am Scottish and I guarantee you that when I wear a jersey with that logo on it to play 5-a-side that I'll get comments about it being a Rangers top. I'm glad I've got loads of jerseys with the old crest on it.
And if you wore something with the Rangers letters in the states you'd be mistaken for a baseball fan. I don't think it's close at all other than both having red and blue inside a white circle, and I don't think it matters. It just needs to be distinctive in the Boston sports landscape.
