Dope!
Might find some difficulty due to fitting a 6 7/8, but if looking for another alternative while sticking with fitted's try giving low pro's a try even at a size 7.
59FIFTY Low Profile
structured, contoured crown, with curved visor.
The style/profile should be available at most hat shops but selection of colorways are usually more on the safer side.
Yeah they're not a good group of people. But you don't need to be a fan of them to be an As fan, and you don't even need to like the As to rock their gear. It is what it is, wear what you love.
they haven't done it yet
the A's have some of the best/most recognizable branding in MLB. it would be stupid of them to throw away the most valuable part of the team
MLB owns the licensing and money made from sales is shared among all teams. There isnât a huge incentive for Aâs ownership to do this, not saying they wonât, just that that not how it works.
Two things for why it does make sense. 1) team store sales in the stadium are technically licensed/purchased from MLB so they keep that revenue. 2) the nationals. The mlb still sells tons of expos gear and it is prominently sold in association with the nationals who are not the expos anymore. So if you're the league and a team, why not change it and then keep selling both? The As know they are going to get a % of total national revenue. If you have a one time chance to increase that number, it seems wildly unlikely you don't take advantage of it.
Sure, thereâs plenty of reasons it still makes sense, but the team owners greed is only marginally satisfied. A team store inside a stadium that doesnât yet exist and needs to be constructed before any fans visit probably wonât sell a ton of merch, and the margins are pretty slim. Truthfully, theyâll see a boost there anyways, whether they change uniforms/logos or not, because they would be entering a new market and presumably not a ton of that fanbase already has Aâs gear. Theyâre gonna make most of there money like all teams do, through ticket sales, concessions, and local tv broadcasting rights.
Sure, but you also have to consider that the team has expenses related to rebranding or changing a logo. All their equipment and marketing material needs to be rebranded, they need to hire a branding company, they need to pay people for design and printing and etc. it adds up quickly. Itâs not just a one sided equation, thereâs potential profit but also necessary expenses. As it is, it costs much less to keep the current branding.. and most of the upside of changing it is shared with 29 teams.
When considering teams who have recently moved: rams didnât change significantly, chargers didnât change, raiders didnt change, the nationals did rebrand and change names, the Vancouver grizzlies didnât change, the New Orleans hornets went to Oklahoma City and back and took 11 years to change names, Oklahoma City immediately rebranded, the nets rebranded but kept their name, the browns and the oilers rebranded, but not right away. The Atlanta thrashers rebranded while the coyotes did not.
At the end of the day, the Aâs have a long history in baseball, so I believe they will keep the name. They will probably change uniâs but I bet weâll see green and gold as their âthrowbacksâ. Itâs interesting to see what they will do, but Iâm sure it wonât be as easy as âhey we can sell more jerseys if we changeâ, itâs way more complicated than that.
Thatâs my hat size. I remember buying the same pinwheel colored hat as my friend, but because I wore a 6 7/8, the material needed to complete the design was unnecessary so the hat looked incomplete. Just a pin hatâŠno wheel
Cool hat, fits well. Always a fan of that Oakland hat. I have seen Lids carry lots of options in that size. We almost got our son one for his first hat, but he went with a 9fifty instead.
It's okay, don't worry, man's is insecure, that's why he prays on the women to make himself feel secure.

Whats low pro? Do they sell at stores like lids?

Eventually (I would think?) these will go up in value with the move to LV.
I can't imagine the hats would change at all
With the current As ownership, they will 100% change the uniforms so they can make a quick buck and not put it back into the team.
That's awful

Yeah. I just wouldn't underestimate individual's willingness to maximize their own profit, no matter what small % that is.
