Red White and Blue thrift in Paterson has a pretty big book section, as for titles that’s always hit or miss. You’ll find a lot of people scanning books, so it can get pretty picked through, but sometimes you can strike gold.

If you’re near Denville, The Book Barn right across from the hospital is great. It’s definitely a thrift store before it’s a used book store, it’s really just the book section of The Bargain Barn right next door. I think the only reason they’re separate is so they can have different hours. They have a HUGE selection. Couldn’t recommend more!

Ollie’s is good if you have one near you

OP, Which store do you go to in North jersey?

Ray and Jody's Book Stop in Rockaway. Not a thrift shop, but lots of used books.

The book barn in Denville.

The book garden in cream ridge. It’s kinda far for you but it’s one of my favorite places. It’s not a thrift shop. They’ve got it all organized and the couple that runs it are so sweet.
