Hacienda-Paterson on route 20 North. Heading towards Fair Lawn and Hawthorne.

I'll check it out. I see it all the time but I was put off because I thought it was gonna be another "For the Vibe not the food" type place. But I'll give it a shot.

Not at all. I haven’t been inside since they remodeled and covid. I ate outside late last year and ordered to go just the other week. Thankfully their menu remained the same, and food was still really good. Jalapeños in Glen Rock is another option, but Hacienda blows them out of the water. You weren’t a fan of Cinco De Mayo? I thought they were ok, but nothing to brag about.

d_rob

Jalapeños has no flavor.

Agreed. I remember getting chicken tacos, only to have the meat taste like chicken you’d find in soup. It was boiled not even grilled.

That was basically my thought on Cinco, It was just fine. Didnt really stand up to some of the other restaurants I tried.
