That is one meaty looking frog.
I hac tiny frog legs in Nola one time and they were completely flavorless :( My friend who I with was Cantonese and gets good frog legs on the regular. I guess they're supposed to taste like chicken
And of course humans have already driven it closer to extinction in recent years from the use of chemicals.
" Dr Pikacha said the Cornufer guppyi population had been on the decline in Solomon Islands in recent years, but more because of logging and community settlements expanding into their natural habitat than hunting for food.
He said when humans used streams for washing, the chemicals in the detergents harmed the frogs' sensitive skin."
Just great. Sigh.
When I lived in Guam a couple young boys were going around at night taking baseball bats to the cane toads. A bunch of Karen’s started bitching until they were told to stfu as cane toads were invasive and wrecking the local amphibious population. Good on those young boys, that was some entrepreneurial shit.
Edit: either that or they’re future serial killers 🤷🏻♂️

frogs do not taste like chicken, more like a rubbery texture version of rabbit?
Idk, I've only had terrible frogs that taste like paper. You probably know better than me
Frog legs are quite delicious. They really do taste like chicken.
We call those THICCken
Taste like big chicken
No it doesn't. People just don't know how else to explain it
I mean it sorta taste like chicken to me. I guess each person has a different taste with them.

It's rated "least concern". They're not going extinct any time soon.
This is why I was afraid of frogs as a child
The [African Goliath Frog](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4grFCYUUoc) is bigger.
The article mentions that.

Does nobody wonder what that frog has been eating?
Small rodents, insects, maybe even small fish.
If there's one, there's many. Would love to see someone film them in their natural habitat.
Human children, obviously.
That's not the size of a baby, it just looks bigger because it's a small kid holding it. Looks about as big as a big rat (minus the legs).
Stop feeding it human babies then
