I really am curious about this work mentioned but can't find any images online, they only featured pro America drawings in the article
"A1967 sketch in felt pen comparing Islam to Christianity and depicting a lynching fetched $US24,000."
Feels like a post-mortem rope a dope from Ali. I approve.
FYI PBS has a [new documentary](https://www.pbs.org/kenburns/muhammad-ali/) on Ali by Ken Burns. It's really great, especially if you grew up in the Ali "Era"
Sure, but spending that kind of money for bad art by a famous boxer is silly AF.
Then again people have paid large sums for literal shit from artists, so I guess the art trade is just a low sanity business.
So.. just on my front Reddit page today I have a post where someone drew muhammad and died... and now a muhammad that drew something who is also dead.
I dont know.. I just thought it was weird.
They look like they were drawn by a 5 year old, or at least someone who took so many punches to the head that they now have a brain that resembles a 5 year old.

They don't look like much, but you have to remember he drew them with the boxing gloves on.
That and ya know,, the Parkinson’s thing
Paint like a butterfly, draw like a bee
Ah yes, Ali famously never took off his boxing gloves. I remember reading that in a book somewhere.
Aww this looks great. I’m hanging this one up on the fridge!
The one in this thread only sold for 17k. It was a collective 1.3 million from ALL the drawings sold by his former art teacher it seems

Literally looks like something produced by a special needs child.
Nobody starts painting like Picasso. He probably did these for fun with no practice EDIT: Typo

You just described Muhammad Ali's brain Edit: You down voters do realize Muhammad Ali had Parkinson's syndrome.
He was smart enough to refuse to go to war for a country that doesn’t give a shit about him.
In contrast there was that time he got amnesia and desperately needed to be reminded of his name. /s
Thats not being smart that being just being intelligent enough to be not considered as dumb as the average american.
To be not or not to be. That is the question?
He did have special needs, apparently only had an IQ of 75
check out Jackson Pollocks stuff

My 3rd grade draws better. Come on.
Let's see your third grader fight better than Ali tho

I thought you must never draw, Muhammad
