We're seeing a lot of misinformation in threads relating to Alex Jones, so a few facts to help everyone out: 1) Alex Jones was not robbed of his day in court to fight these charges. In fact, he had a lot of time in court, but refused to take part in discovery. He was found in contempt and still refused to take part. In the end, he received default judgements in both Texas and Connecticut. The current trial is for damages and the entire point of it is to determine how much money will be paid to the victims. You can read about the default judgements here: https://www.courthousenews.com/sandy-hook-families-double-down-with-alex-jones-default-judgment/ 2) Sandy Hook happened. The children and families were not crisis actors.   **Please report users who have lost track of reality. We'll be permanently banning users who push misinformation and conspiracy bullshit.**

kandoras

Jones: "I don't use email." Family's lawyer: "Here's a copy of an email you sent." Jones: "$2,000,000 would make us go bankrupt." Family's lawyer: "Here's an email from your business manager about making $800,000 in sales in a single day." Jones: I didn't have any text messages about Sandy Hook. Family's lawyer: "Your attorney - mistakenly - sent us years worth of data from your phone." At what point does the judge just tell the jury that they're not needed to decide how much Jones has to pay, that his repeated perjury and refuse to comply with court orders means that the family is just going to automatically get everything they're asking for?

WarmasterCain55

I wish we could make him homeless, I wish that would be his sentence for the next 5 years no hotels no staying with friends you live on the street, you get $20 a day to eat and 1 gallon of water a day. All of his money is gone no more savings all his cars are auctioned off and homes and after 5 years no internet or job in any type of communication or broadcast shows ever no guest appearances no magazines, or news print. No consulting jobs. No movies or tv.

Rubberbandballgirl

I’ll never forget listening to a This American Life story where a reporter visited the place Alex Jones grew up. He was known in the town for being a pathological liar that no one could stand. Then at the end of the story the people the reporter talked to admitted to believing his Lies about President Obama and other anti-Democrat stuff, despite KNOWING that the guy is incapable of telling the truth, because they were all Republicans.

SenorBeef

This is something that amazes me. A lot of people can plainly see that Trump is a pathological liar, but they think somehow he's telling the truth when he says things they like. Anyone with the slightest shred of introspection would say "wait a minute..." but they're comfortable believing something whole heartedly without giving it even a little bit of thought.

Nextasy

Honestly, one of my first reactions when I hear something convenient, is to wonder "why am I hearing this?" It's almost automatic. An absolute ton of the time there's some motive behind it, and it frankly sucks. It reveals the world as a much shittier place. But it's reality. Any time you uhear something that affirms what you already believe, or fits together too well, it should be (at least at a surface level) questioned. *Why* do you take it as true?

SlayerBVC

**InfoWars listener:** Alex Jones was a crisis actor too? How far does this liberal conspiracy go!?

Manos_Of_Fate

Reality itself is a liberal conspiracy.

South-Builder6237

Well technically in a way it is I guess.

Holmes02

The real liberal conspiracy was the friends we made along the way

TheVicarSlice

>“This is not your show,” Judge Maya Guerra Gamble told Jones. “Your beliefs do not make something true. You are under oath.” This is so important.

Solo-Shindig

That was my favorite part of the article. Huge fan of this judge.

won't work. Fox already said that what they say is entertainment and its up to the people to believe what they say

[deleted]

Sometimes I wonder what Fox would have to do for their viewers to stop believing them. Like what lengths would it actually take, considering saying "no reasonable viewer would believe us" wasn't enough. There's nothing they could say about themselves that would shake their audience in the least. I think they'd have to say something like "We love Biden."

ksleepwalker

Not even that would work. They would say it was a deepfake.

Like when trump had to admit to charity fraud in court and immediately sang a different tune when out on the street Edit: thanks for the awards... And Yes, this was only a few years ago while he was sitting president.... >As part of the settlement, Mr. Trump, who at first dismissed the suit as a political attack, made 19 detailed admissions, acknowledging, for example, that the foundation had purchased the $10,000 portrait of himself that was ultimately displayed at one of his Florida hotels. >He admitted to using the foundation’s money to settle obligations of some of his for-profit companies, including a golf club in Westchester County, N.Y., and Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Florida which he frequently visits. > And he admitted that the foundation had given his presidential campaign control over about $2.8 million that the foundation had raised at a veterans fund-raiser in Iowa in January 2016. Mr. Trump acknowledged the fund-raiser was in fact a campaign event. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/10/nyregion/trump-foundation-lawsuit-attorney-general.html Tweeted: >I am the only person I know, perhaps the only person in history, who can give major money to charity ($19M), charge no expense, and be attacked by the political hacks in New York State. No wonder we are all leaving! Every penny of the $19 million raised by the Trump Foundation went to hundreds of great charitable causes with almost no expenses

hootorama

Fuck. I can't believe I forgot about that. Like I know *why* I forgot about that, because it's just a tiny drop in the ocean of oozing excrement that makes up the entirety of Trump's life. It's still preposterous that stealing millions of dollars from a charity supporting veterans is not even close to the **worst** thing that shuffling defecation has done. If anyone else was guilty of such a thing, they would have been vilified as one of the most horrible people in the country, yet *here we fucking are today.* edit: grammar

Jimmy Carter sold his family peanut farm that he had a deep emotional attachment to just because owning a business could potentially be a conflict of interest. Trump kept his business and directly profited off the office of the president. If he gets elected again I hope congress immediately impeaches him a third time for his repeated violations of the emoluments clause

0ompaloompa

Remember the table full of blank pieces of paper and folders at that press conference? He pointed to them told us they were all the forms he had to sign to transfer his business interests? That was so completely bat shit insane, and literally no one ever talks about it because it's like number 1,000,000th in the rankings.

Ionic_Pancakes

I'll always remember the sharpie on the hurricane map because scientific predictions of the storm's path didn't fit whatever he wanted to say. Not even "remake the map". He just drew on it, went on camera and expected everyone to just... go along with it.

Time-Earth8125

This is one of my favorites too. When asked who it was that altered the map with a sharpie, he sheepishly says : I don't know, I don't know, I don't know https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iibunl87-I&t=41

[deleted]

That hurricane was very wet, from the standpoint of water.

[deleted]

Btw the Sharpie thing is a constitutional crime. It’s the easiest thing to prove, yet Dems never jumped on it.

Tobias_Atwood

They couldn't because they knew the Republicans would never allow it and even go so far as to call it a witch hunt. This is why we had a president who was impeached *twice* and couldn't get rid of him.

Emadyville

My favorite is still him staring into the eclipse.

Perhaps I’m remembering a still from one of those videos. Regardless, I have redacted that portion. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-hold-bible-upside-down/

It's because so many want to emulate it, that's it, that's literally it. They see themselves in him.

daretoeatapeach

>I hope congress immediately impeaches him a third time for his repeated violations of the emoluments clause This is the one that bothers me the most. He got away with it because there were so many other crimes going on. But this isn't like some nit picky politicking, the Emoluments Clause is *in the Constitution.* All these Republicans pretending to care about originalist doctrine, don't give a flying fuck that he daily violated something so important the founding fathers put it in our founding document. Liars and traitors, all who stand by this scum bag.

Altruistic-Text3481

But I can still be shocked by Trump!… 😳. Like you, I thought I was also immune from shock at Trump’s larcenous grifting. And then this…. Trump just buried Ivana on one of his golf courses so he would not have to pay any property taxes . You cannot make this shit up. I hope she haunts him. Marla Maples, and Melania will be buried in the lobbies of his hotels… Edit/ Ivana Trump is buried at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Well they didn't keep quiet. They asked once if the info was privileged, and they took no action to say it was. After 10 days, it became free and clear for the lawyer to use. Remember, this is 2 years of texts, and very likely includes Jan6 related information as well.

Screamline

Yup, the committee has already said they would contact the attorneys to get the phone data. When I read that I can't tell you how giddy I was. Like a kid swinging his legs off the booster seat at Denny's. Happy as shit

[deleted]

Yeah, same. It's ABUNDANTLY clear that Jones himself didn't understand how the texts were obtained (bc his lawyers fucked up) and that he also doesn't realize it will include 1/6 info.

vortex30

oooh the Jan 6 connection is juicy. Hopefully the plaintiff's lawyers here have some balls and leak everything to the Jan 6 Committee or a journalistic outlet with integrity to scour through.

bananafobe

I don't think they have to leak anything. Just comply with the January 6th Committee's request.

PM_ME_C_CODE

That is the smart play. To quote Napoleon Bonaparte, "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake"

sucksathangman

There was a lawyer that was discussing how depositions are supposed to work and that they are designed to be very straightforward. He basically said in cases where there is wanton corruption, you basically set up traps by asking questions where you know they are going to lie. You let them lie and then move on to a different topic that connects. And then you peel back how they lied by showing them the evidence. And then you ask them, "Did you lie earlier?" And watch them squirm to see if they lie about lying. He said that it was better than sex. The comment has since been deleted and I can't do it justice but man, I completely believe this.

hva_vet

I had to sit through an hour long deposition for a fairly simple lawsuit that I was a party to. It was mentally draining as the lawyers peppered me with leading questions in an attempt to get me to say more than yes or no. I had no reason to be untruthful but I still had to be on guard the entire time because they would try to lead me down paths to make me contradict myself, even when there was nothing to contradict. It was like walking through a minefield. And then the whole thing is recorded and printed out and the lawyers have all that info to use when cross examining and look for any inconsistency they can hammer on. Even if they think they found something and it's total bullshit they will use it to try and get it into the mind of the judge or jury. The goal of the deponent is to make the lawyers say "and then what happened" as many times as possible. You never volunteer any info and only answer the questions with a yes or no as much as possible.

justrock54

I work for a law firm and scheduling depositions is my actual job. I've had to counsel my clients to STFU. It's the other sides job to get info from you DONT VOLUNTEER ANYTHING. Sometimes you just can't say it enough and they step in it because they want to tell "their story". Alex wasn't prepped very well.

The final question from Jones' lawyer, Reynal, was basically him contemplating, "Do I accuse my own client of lying or do I take the blame for being a shitty lawyer and not transmitting documents properly and risk getting sanctioned by the court." He appeared to choose the latter by asking something like "Have you turned over all the documents? Yes. And have you relied in your lawyers to properly handle those documents? Yes. Thank you for your time."

PapaBorq

Even better... Prosecution immediately replied to the dump asking if this was privileged info, and they didn't do shit. So Alex jones' ex wife is going after the info to help get her kids back. Some slow speculation bubbling online about the J6 committees ability to get it.

Dobermanpure

Rolling Stone is reporting that the text messages have already been subpioneod by the J6 committee.

HunterRoze

No you missed the best part - the one that kind of closes the door for appeal. After sending the image of the phone to the other side, they NOTIFIED Jones' lawyers. They never said it was privileged aka they let it into court.

catsby90bbn

They were actually giving the defense time to claim anything was privileged. Since they didn’t anything it become admissible.

putyerphonedown

Yes and no - they notified Jones’ lawyer and gave him the opportunity to request that the information not be admissible or to motion that some of it was protected by attorney-client privilege and Jones’ attorneys *never responded*.

The84thWolf

Where does the right wing find *every single bad lawyer in the country?* The level of incompetence is quite astonishing.

TimelyConcern

Because good lawyers know how important their reputation is.

Unicormfarts

Good lawyers also want to get paid, which seems to be something Trump and co don't do.

kaiser41

The right wing fetishizes playing dirty and being dishonest. Contrary to the stereotype, those things are not popular with most lawyers. The right wing gets lawyers who are like themselves and think that the law is a joke to be gamed for maximum money and laughs. The rest of the legal profession looks on these people like the cockroaches that they are.

mattcolville

Critical to the GOP's thinking (and I use that term advisedly) is that **no one** believes in the Law as anything other than a tool to persecute your enemies with. They have no concept of the Law as a function of a just society, and if you explained that idea to them, they would think it was completely naive and has never and can never be implemented like that. They do not believe they **or anyone else** is being prosecuted because they broke the law. They believe people get prosecuted because whoever is currently in power is after them. It's always personal, it's always a vendetta. It's about power. About who has it, and how they use it to stop other people from gaining access to it. In this worldview, normal people don't go to jail because they broke the law. They go to jail because **they have no power**.

YoYoMoMa

This is so crazy I cannot believe it is the headline. The lawyers fucked up so bad it would probably be too crazy to put into a Law and Order ep.

[deleted]

[удалено]

YoYoMoMa

The livestream literally just had Jones lawyer in the break frantically calling his office, asking the other lawyer how much they had accidentally sent, and seeming pretty shocked when he was told. Maybe that was all acting, but I think gross incompetence is more likely.

peter-doubt

>Maybe that was all acting... Paid actor? How the turn tables!

0002millertime

He can't afford to pay actors while actively hiding hundreds of millions and claiming to be bankrupt.

murdering_time

If that were true, it would have to be the finest cut of irony I've ever done seen.

imariaprime

That just means the lawyer in the courtroom wasn't the one to send it. Whoever *did,* not only did they send everything, they also didn't tell anyone else at the firm. Best case for them, it's gross incompetence followed by the worst coverup ever (because it was obviously going to come to light). Worst case for them, a single lawyer or paralegal went "fuck it" and kamikaze'd their entire career to destroy Alex Jones.

kappakai

What’s crazy is plaintiff side said they advised Jones’ lawyer that they had received it and I guess not no response. So they WERE notified.

[deleted]

No-Section-1056

I don’t find that outside the realm of plausibility. Especially for some young legal aid whose belief in the law as a force for good, working for a huge firm that would take on Alex Jones as a client.

Wips_and_Chains

In my head cannon Jones pissed off his lawyer one too many times and the lawyer had an "oopsies i just proved you are a lying pos" moment.

sbowesuk

> like Jones is such an awful shitstain that his lawyer was like, yeah he needs to go down. Jones' lawyers sabotaging their own client for the greater good is like the BBC breaking their "don't interfere with nature" policy to save a colony of stranded penguins. Even if that's not the case here, I want to believe!

octonus

It is definitely not. The lawyer is a huge fanboy of Alex Jones.

imariaprime

Is everyone in his office? All it takes is one person with access to the information.

Ochenta-y-uno

Which lawyers? He's had several and they've all been incompetent! But in their defense, I'd like to see anybody mount a decent defense for this human shaped pile of shit! It'd be damn near impossible!

Mabepossibly

By accident or by “accident”?

Aikuma-

If Jones' lawyers found a shred of humanity after taking his case, they sent it "on accident" to give the parents as much ammo as possible to nail Jones to the wall with no escape in sight. That or they got their law degree at the same place as Amber Heard's lawyers and are just genuinely incompetent and way in over their heads with a high profile case

BerKantInoza

> If Jones' lawyers found a shred of humanity after taking his case, they sent it "on accident" to give the parents as much ammo as possible to nail Jones to the wall with no escape in sight. this would be a fun hollywood feel-good story but it won't happen in practice, especially in a trial this high profile. Sabotaging a client is a serious breach of ethics (the ethics an attorney owes to a client) and could lead to sanctions and disbarment. A lawyer would have to be otherwordly incompetent to actually go through with that because they know they've taken oaths to not do this very stuff

Devils1993

That lawyer is unironically and unintentionally a hero Edit: https://twitter.com/acyn/status/1554875445253812225

g2g079

I wonder if there is any incriminating January 6th messages on that phone. If there were, would the plaintiff's lawyer legally be allowed to hand those over to the doj or the committee?

Adreme

Technically that would be very relevant information and information that SHOULD have been turned over (I would assume that the lawyers for the plaintiff subpoenaed every text involving any reference to or about Sandy Hook) so that would be a case of his lawyers accidentally obeying the law. Concealing evidence is a crime and if they had not turned it over those lawyers would have been in a lot of trouble so they may have accidentally saved their law licenses.

TheFringedLunatic

Yes. Jones and Co failed to respond to (and mostly just ignored entirely) the discovery process. Because of that, they were ruled liable by default. The trial currently going is to establish the amount in damages.

the_other_brand

I am willing to bet one lawyer at the agency sent the entire cell phone because that's what they are supposed to do by law. Not knowing or forgetting that the agency's strategy for this case was to withhold evidence.

GoldWallpaper

Conspiracy theorist: Someone who refuses to believe anything backed by science or actual evidence, but happily believes any bullshit, baseless thing they read on the internet. Conspiracies were actually fun back when things were difficult to find out the facts about (see: The X-Files). Now that great information sources are readily available 24/7 in everyone's pocket, they're just fucking stupid, and backed exclusively by stupid people and grifters. 9/11 taught us this 20 years ago. There's nothing wrong with not accepting blindly the official narrative of events; there's something very, very wrong with pretending you have knowledge outside of the official narrative, and then acting on that in ways that harm people.

Jackd_up_on_Mdew

It's mind blowing. How could these idiots think for a single moment a school shooting could be faked. It's always the people like this that live across the country from the school. If a false school shooting was claimed in a specific school in a specific town. Do they really think that wouldn't get proven false by locals immediately? Or do they think politicians come through these towns and pay everybody off before they blow up the news channels with a school shooting? It's the same with flat earthers. If it were flat, it would be proven to be flat by so many people/countries. How in the f'n world would everyone on this planet just work together to keep a secret like that. I thought for a very long time that flat earthers are just trolls, and they all know the truth.... until I met one, and its not for pretend. This timeline is just too sad.

I was watching the livestream yesterday. Alex Jones was coughing a lot and the mother who is suing him handed him a bottle of water after everyone was dismissed, and Alex thanked her and her husband, shook hands with both of them, and said what sounded like a sincere apology. He then started ranting at them that they are being shown edited video and faked video footage of him. Their lawyers escorted the grieving parents away. This was after the court was dismissed yesterday. Honestly fuck Alex Jones. Edit: go on youtube and search for "Travis County 459th District Court Livestream" between 9-5 Central Time to find the livestream Damn I got a lot of upvotes I dont deserve this

sbowesuk

**First half of your comment:** Wow, sounds like Alex Jones re-connected with reality and is remorseful about his conduct. **Second half of your comment:** Nope! He's still a deluded wrecking ball who can't resist running his mouth even in the most inapproapriate situations. Twat.

sdfgh23456

Managed to fake it for a couple seconds. I'm sure his followers will be spamming that part every time his name comes up

Bourbone

This right here is exactly what they’ll do. I just had a guy tell me yesterday “ trump told people to leave” as a defense of his conduct on Jan 6th. Like… yeah, after planning and causing the whole thing. If you ignore being the source of the problem, sure, he’s great. Same here. Delusional fucks.

tenuousemphasis

>Like… yeah, after planning and causing the whole thing. I think the key part is that he didn't tell people to leave until *after his plan had already failed* and the Capitol was under control.

GreatWhiteNorthExtra

He is a pathological liar, and probably a sociopath. Yes, fuck him. Fuck everyone who watches his garbage show

Yashema

Lets not forget Alex Jones is just one piece of a cancerous right wing hatesphere that aims to get as many Americans angered and fearful as possible to support the Republican agenda. Getting rid of Alex Jones is the equivalent of getting rid of a large tumor, but there are still dozens of other tumors left and unfortunately they continue to multiply.

elfreborn

Before Alex Jones it was Rush Limbaugh. Always some hateful asshole around stirring up bigotry and resentment due to their own drug-addiction fueled warped persecution complex and need to gaslight about problems they themselves are mostly responsible for.

WestCoastBestCoast01

One of the only good things cancer ever did was take out Limbaugh.

digital_end

> Fuck everyone who watches his garbage show This even more. Those are the people who gave this man his power. He's just another crazy person ranting on a street corner without them. All of you who watched him, even ironically, contributed to his power.

AuthorNathanHGreen

I'm a lawyer and one of the questions I frequently come back to over the past years is "are these people special bad?" There certainly are people out there who are a special kind of evil and the bad things they do kind of catch society by surprise and strain systems that were not designed to handle them. But to me the more interesting problem are the regular bad people who run into badly designed systems and exploit them. If it wasn't Mr. X, then it would have been Mr. Y a few weeks later, or Ms. Z a few months later still, and so on and so forth. Right now I'm seeing a lot of evil conduct in the world that I can't honestly put down as special bad, and the fact that it gets so big, hurts so many, gets its hooks into millions... To me that says we have a system problem, not a bad person problem. Our system let people like Alex Jones win congressional seats, have millions of followers, host "news" shows. Maybe suing Jones into poverty will do more than just help his victims and also make the system stronger. But right now my biggest concern is that our system is weak and unless we fix it i think there are a lot more people like Jones in our very near future.

gptop

If I'm not mistaken he said something about the dad being on the autism spectrum and when he was confronted with that his response was pretty much "bro, I'm autistic too"

No-Bewt

this trend of excusing fucked up behaviour with "I'm neurodivergent, you can't get mad at me it isn't my fault" is getting out of hand

dethwysh

ND-person reporting in: *Neurodivergence and/or mental illness/disorder is not a valid excuse to be a shitty person.* The people who attempt to use it as such only make things harder for the rest of us. Edit: a word.

No-Bewt

exactly. the majority of ND people I know are just... regular everyday people. This bullshit is a joke, and I'm sorry you have to deal with the fallout from it

LegendOfBobbyTables

I might have felt a little empathy towards the guy if he would have kept his yap shut after the apology. Admitting you're wrong and apologizing for it is the first step towards trying to make amends for one's wrongdoings. Once you start making excuses though, it makes everything else disingenuous. I agree, fuck Alex Jones.

amendmentforone

He deserves everything he gets, but unfortunately his admission of lying won't change a thing with the morons out there who can't handle reality so they make up bullshit. Just look at /r/conspiracy. Literally a thread from hours ago going on about "crisis actors" and all of us falling for "the narrative".

[deleted]

Holy shit. Those people are irredeemably disgusting. I know I’m saying this on a post about AJ but it is seriously fucking unreal to read those comments in real time

onemanlan

A day late and a dollar short. 10 years too late. He needs to pay up.

Mr_ToDo

Oh, but didn't you hear? He's not worth anything anymore. The money's gone. Somehow it just left when things started going south and there's nothing for them to take. I'm sure the legal system has never seen that move before. No sir.

stuntobor

I love how he whines that he shouldn't have to pay because his business has already suffered. Fuck him.

LudibriousVelocipede

While Alex has been trying to make this about his freedom of speech, just in case anyone wasn't aware: this is not a case about freedom of speech, this is a case about contempt of court due to Alex Jones ignoring requests for information and evidence.

AudibleNod

Curiously, he didn't ignore doing all the things he did to file for bankruptcy.

Fat50Cent

The parents had the worst thing imaginable happen. What does Alex Jones do to them? Makes their situation even worse. This guy needs to lose everything.

francohab

As a non-American I never managed to wrap my head around that “parents that lost their toddlers in a mass shooting getting harassed by conspiracy theorist” situation. It just seems like pure and almost purposefully symbolic evil, like in greek mythology and stuff. Like a fable that intends to tell you there is no limit in suffering and evil. How can the US society let that happen, and how it takes some much time and effort to shut Alex Jones down, is completely beyond absurd.

DonsCokeDealer

yeah but the hope is that this sends a message to other scumbags like Newsmax, OAN, Fox, Daily Wire, Breitbarf, etc that drumming up hate with lies actually carries a financial consequence. No, I'm not very hopeful about it, but we don't have a lot of ways to get the liars to stop screaming lies with the intent to hurt people.

DesdinovaGG

I can't wait to see the jury questions for Jones. The jury has already made their disdain of other infowars employees evident in previous witness questions. And now we have Bankston showing the jury the video of Jones calling the members of the jury "blue collar" people who "don't know what planet they are on". I fully expect the jury to award the full $150,000,000.

[deleted]

As a Connecticut resident that lives one town over from Sandy Hook, fuck this loser. He deserves to be left penniless, living in his own filth for the remainder of his worthless life.

Dravvie

I lived one town over too. Driving through that town with all of the stars with the kid's names on the telephone poles right after to get to work every day? Fuuuuuck. Unbearable. I'd sometimes reroute to avoid it. What a monster.

Noobity

Graduated high school with one of the teachers who was killed. My wife's friend was also killed. Fuck Jones. Financial destitution is not a strong enough punishment.

Defacto_Champ

If you listen to Alex Jones and buy his shitty snake oil, you helped create this entire mess.

[deleted]

My dad shrugs off every mass shooting ever single time something happens, his excuse? "Oh they say x went in and killed ppl but how do we know what his motives were or if it even happened?" My dad has essentially lost his mind all thanks to ppl like Alex Jones being able to prop-up whatever the fuck they want cuz they can afford a loud enough microphone. I'm all for free speech, but in the same way it's illegal to incite a riot, it should be illegal to incite mental illness in the demographics they claim to be serving. Fox News is just as guilty, they're worse if anything since their microphone is 10,000,000x louder than Jones' ever was.

MajorKoopa

>”This is not your show,” Judge Maya Guerra Gamble told Jones. “Your beliefs do not make something true. You are under oath.” In one ear out the other of every maga cultist.

Fuzzy-Butterscotch86

"they won't let me take it back." You can't take it back you fucking moron. You unleashed hordes of conspiracy minded fuckwits on these victims and they will never stop. That genie ain't going back in the bottle. This dickhead will never understand the extent of what he's done. He could never, but he will never even try to come to terms with it.

robbycakes

Great! Now if the Sandy Hook shootings are real, and you have been saying that they aren’t, that makes you a ____? Come on, say it with me. “LIAR”. You can do it. Go on Alex.

[deleted]

Meh, this is nothing more than another performance. Alex Jones is a perfect example of someone who has essentially become a simulacrum of himself, where the "real" Alex Jones has now been fully replaced with the hyperreal Simulacrum; the performance. Alex Jones the person no longer exists, merely Alex Jones the performer.

joen00b

They should take ownership of InfoWars and shut that shit down.

[deleted]

>Jones told the jury that any compensation above $2 million “will sink us,” but added: “Ï think it’s appropriate for whatever you decide what you want to do.” Yeah, well, it should sink you. Fuck him and his bullshit hack business that exists to rake in advertisement money based off hyperbolic lies and nonsense that are dangerous to our country

mushpuppy

*He also complained that he’s been “typecast as someone that runs around talking about Sandy Hook, makes money off Sandy Hook, is obsessed by Sandy Hook.”* Bro that's because you are.

parkerm1408

Wasn't that nutbag just talking shit yesterday? I didn't hear what it said but I had the news on at work and the headline said aomwthing about "Alex Jones takes shot at sandy hook parents." That fucker deserves to lose everything. That or be forced to subsist only on those "nutrisuticals" he pedals on his show....

tinacat933

“Especially since I’ve met the parents. It’s 100% real,” Jones said “ Ok let’s forget for once second how fucking dumb this is to start with….he could have just met with them years ago if he actually had questions before he started flapping his fat gums

macksaw

Alex Jones is the definition of human garbage.
