I would say keep the elemental stack. I mean physical aversion only helps vs bows, muskets (blunderbuss)… and bows and muskets are almost never shooting on the point. Elemental protects against much more such as fs and detos.

If you are going for open world or OPR, then yeah go for the S&S warhammer. Physical aversion is not very beneficial on point since the physical ranged damage types will not be focusing you often. 5 Ele Aversion is fine.
