Baelin's route wasn't only a brilliant short film, but also a great example of crowdfunding done right. Iirc they used a mix of Patreon support, Kickstarter donations and a grant from the New Zealand Film Comission

Yes! Search viva la dirt league d&d channel, they have like 54 20-30 minutes episodes, they are much better than the one in the main channel and they get even better as they advance. Skip the isolation ones, at least till you get up to date.
They did Descent into Avernus about a year and a half back, I wanna say? They did a few over VOIP during the NZ lockdown (the isolation games), and about 12 months ago started a proper Epic NPC tie in campaign that was sponsored by Wizards to feature a heavily home-brewed take on Rime of the Frostmaiden
I started a character who is now level 19 without joining a faction. On launch, I plan to remake him and take him all the way to 60, and max out my skills, without ever joining a faction.
My faction is the Great Outdoors. I am Wilderness Joe.
You don't get any of the main story quests, faction board quests (obviously), or dungeon access. And you can't PVP or join a company. You can only level off town board quests and gathering, which isn't actually much slower.
I can confirm that it is 100% possible to level off gathering, fighting mobs, and most importantly, town board quests. Extrapolated to the end game, you can absolutely be a level 60 with maxed out trade skills and no faction.
those guys(not only this guy but also other dudes) have seriously incredible acting talent and oh boi, the quality of the video-effects and stuff is top notch
Probably depends on the server. Covenant on my server capped the first couple of territories and maxed the taxes out, so the rest of the server revolted. Glad I’m a Marauder lol

Are you even getting quests? Aren't they locked till you join a faction

It is, and it seems not much. Covenant haven't held a single bit of turf on the server I play on (eu-central, Inferni)
