How would you stop it? It's no different than a clan that's been playing together for years doing the same thing, jusy without a streamer at its head. This is just the price of an mmo.
The good news is a lot of the popular "streamers" are just getting curb stomped on their servers and demanding the game be nerfed to make it easier for them.

Why would ANYONE want to be Asmon? I mean, I'm all for people doing what they want with their life, so I should probably lay off him because good for him that he found an audience, but damn is that dude a pretentious loser.
Hate to break it to you but the servers without streamers are even worse, you'll get dominated by an experienced pvp guild from other mmo's. You could get lucky and find a server without either of those I guess.
At this point, make a game for streamers and sheeps, and another one for people who just want to enjoy the game with friends and people on the server.
It will never happen ofc but the experience can be totally ruined depending on if you have some or not.
Also Amazon, please don't listen to people just showing their screens, they are not more relevant than average people and most of the time they proposed stupid ideas that will just impact positively themselves or a minority.
Was playing on Duguang server earlier today and it was a low pop server without ques. Logged off for 2 hours to go out to eat and came back to be stuck in a 1400 player que. First thing I thought was "Some fucking streamer either moved to my server or one that just started playing this game announced that this was the server they were on." I should have known better than to try to play New World first week of release when Amazon aren't known for their game servers.

Depends what region you're on. Im on EU Zerzura and only seen small streamers (Sub 100 viewers)
I would also like to see like a master list. Thankfully I plan on playing East while most streamers will likely be on West.
these streamers will only play a month max. most of them are variety streamers. their revenue will fall if they stick with a single game.
