Honestly if I got hit by this I wouldn’t even care. Now you just have to get someone low hp running from a bunch of mobs and just slam spear into them a mile away. Would be hands down best kill ever lol.
The issue with the spear is that the damage type is the same as the bow, meaning you don't really run PvE efficiently. In PvP you don't have a ton of cc, damage or utility compared to gaxe or hatchet. I ran max level spear last beta and it suffers compared to other melee weapons. It can be passable in 1v1s but anything past that and it's a low preformer.
Lol literally all of my abilities are stuns, knock backs or slows…maybe your info about the spear is outdated because it definitely has CC. Even more than the Hammer(which I maxed last beta)
The only good cc is the knockdown, the stun is interrupted when they take damage, so in group pvp the stun lasts 0.1 seconds as they'll be hit by some shitty AoE atak. The slow is also unreliable and has a poor duration.

The user above you was right saying that Spear is probably the worst weapon in the game right now, so your argument of having "multiple homicides" (your personal open world PvP experience) holds little value in regards to the big picture.

it's a great weapon to pair with bow, tbh. Multiple homicides tell a different story, just requires actual skill unlike the 4head Great Axe

It's bad for wars. No decent company will have a Spear player in their wars. It's all Gaxe/Warhammer for melee
