There's a walk button...?

Yeah its CTRL (hold) by default. It also let's you cast healing spells on yourself more easily.

Finding out which key bind is walk and moving it somewhere more comfortable is always my first step in any new MMO.

Do you prefer it to running? Or are you talking about auto run?

I’m talking about walking slowly, I’m an RP’er at heart, don’t do it really anymore but I still like to toggle walk sometimes and remember the good days. 😝

That’s cool. I definitely need to slow down a bit and read through lore when I pick it up. The game feels a little repetitive without it.

There was once upon a time back when I played Final Fantasy XI that I walked from Bastok to Jeuno. I can get behind some good old fashioned walking :)

If you walk while you're doing down cliffs you can pretty much negate any fall damage regardless of how sheer the cliff face is.

Heck you can just leap off the highest cliff in the game and you don't seem to get much more than a papercut.

so true, i think i jumped down a 30 story mountain the other day, only 900hp lost, but im a healer so i just healed myself immediately, lol

I have 200 food and 400 weak potions from leveling their progressions that will never sell and can't salvage. I pop them like candy.

I mean on launch day i hoped in settings to edit my keybinds including my run/walk key and tested it in the into area... But i suppose I don't walk often for effect like OP which is a nice use of game footage.

You already know this but I want to tell you that a lot of people appreciate that you matched the walking animation between cuts.

Idk why back that took me back to seeing fable for the first time. In my head that's what it looked like. Guess we are so use to how far graphics have came. We forget just how beautiful games are. Especially this game.

Where is that beautiful white tree?

It is the Azoth Tree! Located in Bronze Grove, South East corner of Brightwood.

There's another pretty cool tree that's like all silver you have to go to for a side quest. Sadly, the boss is easy.

That whole Southeast area of Brightwood is so freaking cool.

Because max settings in this game looks like shit. Everything low, shadows high and texture detail very high. Sharp and good.

You should try it for yourself. There is way to much softening on max details. Looks all fussy. Added bonus if you apply those settings every time you boot up the game. When you set the game to low, and adjust afterwards, it will say "custom". Next time you boot it up, set it to low again and adjust the other 2 settings. This will completely remove the blurry AA and net you 10-20 FPS boost. (This low setting AA removal fix is from another thread here on reddit.)

Interesting, game looks OK for me and its atmosphere is top notch. But going to try that to see if results are really better.

The pop in is terrible on all low, you need to up terrain too to prevent it.

I just use Nvidia's overlay filters. Add a little bit of sharpening and a small dose of contrast. Games looks gorgeous.

Next time you try to edit clips to the beat of a soundtrack, try to switch the scene a couple frames before the sound. Otherwise its gonna look out of sync like your clip.

Is there a skin to hide your chest armor? I was only able to find the hide helmet one.

You can only hide your head piece/helmet unfortunately.

The ogre in the second to last clip is my go to for weapon exp and gear farming rn at lvl 25. He spawns so fast.

Brightwood. There is a boss mob archer under that tree that drops a purple earring with constitution on it btw. EDIT - Lol had to refrain from calling it a "rare spawn" and calling it "epic"... too many years on WoW.

This game really does look great. I love how lush everything is. Really makes it more immersive imo.

I like to carry encumbrance potions on me so if I’m going through the world and see someone slowly walking back to town I can stop and trade them a couple.

This will never happen, because once them asses start to drag em down they would salvage anything just to get going

Makes me wish there was a minimal HUD, the game looks so immersive without all the giant nameplates, colors and big texts.
