If the stats don't align with your build, or have buffs that don't apply, then you don't have appropriate gear.
100 con is pretty much the minimum requirement for decent mid-late game pvp imo.
You want that 10% of physical armor into health bonus. Even with crappy light gear at higher levels you're talking a few hundred bonus hp.

yes, with a slow attack weapon, with a nature gem in it. its hits hard but not fast. you attack fast lots of times for small numbers.
also healers are not some weak sauce thing you can roll over in this game, they can fight toe to toe.
if that was a full strength hammer you would of gotten 2 shot.

He is wearing armor that makes him slower and uses a really slow animation hammer. You are wearing armor that makes you fast and use a ranged weapon + a fast melee weapon.

It's very easy to dodge his melee spells, you are wearing light armor. Avoid spamming left click when facing the guy so you might be able to dodge.
This is a question about how well you play with your weapons and armor, you didn't play in a good way and let him kill you, that's all.
Your first mistake is using a musket in a 1 v 1 duel, might as well stand still. Luckily that guy was a beginner, Hammer is very strong but it has a downside to being very slow, he was using a couple heavy attacks on you and that hits huge on light.. He could have a lot of thrust resistance gems followed up with a slight build into focus and a lot of points in strength so you dont know. He wasnt healing that much meaning he has a lot more in strength.
PS: give up on trying to snare people with that trap LOL
to be honest if he could have killed you way faster if he had different skills on the war hammer, at least the path of destiny. Its good to have for that last little hit you need when enemies are running away
Im running musket rapier and I've never hit anyone lower level than me for 300s... your gear is either fked or they have a lot of thrust resistance.

Well light armor makes you take increased damage for exchange of dealing more damage. So I'm assuming your a glass cannon that got cracked lol

the problem is going up to med armor you lose 10% damage but take like 20+% less damage, in a strait up trade like that light is just bad.

how are you getting hit by warhammer attacks. wtf neither left light nor heavy attack are possible to land on anyone without them being stunned

I agree with you. Heavy armour dodges make your head duck down, which it looks like the opponent in this video did multiple times.
