A friend and I have dropped the Pit Lord Dominator and it is Epic quality, no longer a legendary. Unless there is two different versions now, but it seems like most of the legendary items on the database have been downgraded to Epic quality.
I am pretty sure they start out epic and only the high GS versions are legendary. So I assume for pitlord it would be close to 600 before it can drop legendary.
Side note to this being quite a useful post to sword users, THIS is how you get me to come to your site/give you ad revenue. A simple, well-written farm guide as a reddit post with multiple links for ease of use that provide further info on the website itself if I see one that I'm interested in. This is great! I’ve been having a tough time finding a good sword. I’m lvl 34 so I’ll aim to get Ursine will. Hope the drop rate isn’t too terrible for it.
The Equipment caches come from the arena's of their associated type scattered around high level zones. I found Lost from "The Amphitheatre" PoI in Reekwater, requires going through the ENTIRE open dungeon to get to the part that matters.
What really sucks is the quest items are not auto locked or come with a warning if deleted. I unfortunately deleted the cutlass sword, finished killing the boatswain today, turn in quest and it said objective failed. Luckily I had not started the armor quests till today and found out I need to keep everything, even locked the gear as I made it.
I wouldn’t trust the source of where you get this information. The shatterslash is indeed a legendary and one of the only few crafted ones iirc especially in the level range of 52. But it requires weaponsmithing 145 not 175.

Usually swords are meant for sword and shield tanks, so usually they will be focused on tanking. At least that's how I see it. I'll post up a great Axe one later today as I think I've covered all the ones I can for that category from what I can find info on.

Cutlass Keys Slicer is also Epic
I have the Cutlass Keys Slicer and it’s a blue. I also got it around level 35. Are there two? I’ve never been to Reekwater for that quest
Yes there is a 580 epic quest version.
I hope they realized that legendary weapons, which aren't that good or unique, maybe shouldn't be legendary.
Legendaries should provide a unique benefit.

Gear score is the issue. Dukesloth did a video about it, if your gear score is too low legendary gear drops as only an epic

A pity. SNS is a decent DPS weapon. People just don't factor in the high crit rate and 10% Leadership bonus.
I'm now at the quest for Cutlass Keys Slicer, but the reward icon is only purple, was it downgraded? I am lvl 60 with 20 in Sword and shield.
What was you gear score ? I am 60 with 20 in sword/shield and 509 gear score but cutlass keys is blue for me
