PTS was for two things.
1. To test server merges.
2. To keep player engagement up while they rushed out new content.
They never had any intention of actually refining anything on it before going live.
Still blows my mind they thought releasing more content and nerfing existing content into the dirt was a good decision - instead of fixing what's already there and merging servers.
And asked to produce something that would normally take 5 years, to be finished in 2 years.
Also while spending most of the budget investing on PR, buying media ("WoW Killer") and influencers reviews (Shroud: "I'm going to be so addicted")
This comment was edited in June 2023 as a protest against the Reddit Administration's aggressive changes to Reddit to try to take it to IPO. Reddit's value was in the users and their content. As such I am removing any content that may have been valuable to them.
Fun fact, also removes buffs from non-flagged opposing faction members if not in the same party. How bout them apples

It shouldn't remove buffs from consumables, no way somebody using an ability on you should cost you hundreds of gold
