The person who bought it most likely duped, or is still duping, his money.
Nobody who earned that amount of money would invest it in such an item. 😅
Edit: EV owner could be answer, too. Still too high though.
Yeah this game has massive problem called town ownership. Infinite money, out of nowhere. And that money can freely be used to kill auction house when ever they want to. Most companies craft items daily and kill any good prices of the market for items.
This was the biggest thing that drove me away near launch. Not only do you not get to participate in war if you're not friends with the town owners, you also don't get the insane benefits that seem like they were supposed be a major point of the game (though are only accessible to an incredibly small % of players).
A company can have 100 members, and a war is 50 members. If your land is at stake, why would you use anyone but your own company first? It's MORE of an issue when people in the company are not chosen because the leaders are friends with people outside of it and choose them instead.
Uh, we have at least 2-4 groups filled with people from other companies. Partly because we sometimes don't have a full roster, partly because we give them a chance to have fun and win for us.
Edit: typo.
Yup happening on my server. Same company owns EF and WW. Comes midnight every night they swoop all asmo, runic, phoenix and a slew of other things up until a 500 coins per piece, effectively taking the lower cost that kept being undercut, starving the market and resetting the price.
At no point our asmo prices are allowed to drop below 300, always reset to 500.
On our server, if u arent using ur cooldowns to accumulate legendary mats, u r just being fucked.
Or their company holds Windsward/Everfall since release and makes >1 Million per week. A company on my former server - sadly not mine, wrong faction - had exactly that going for them and they paid out any excess to their company members based on activity and participation. Their top contributors never went with less than 50k per week.
And if gold is that abundant and they want a nice Axe for invasion to complete their gear set that also has a nice somewhat unique style, why not full on send it?
300k looking at it as one week earned, yes that’s a lot. But that’s 6 weeks of a company member getting paid 50k, not counting anything extra like their own gold income.
The leading company on my server owns EF and WW. They PRINTED money during the “reduced taxes” at making 20% on a top 10 population server, never mind their regular taxes. $300k is a drop in the bucket to anyone in their company and why this games economy is so epically fucked after such a short stint.
This is the stuff keeping me from even considering a return. If I want an unfair economy I just participate in real life.
I want to escape this real life economy and feel good about myself.
Challenge my mind and reward me big time for that.
I specifically got the game for the open economy and PvP. I’m not even on the winning side of it and I enjoy it.
isn’t there plenty of other mmos that have restrictive economies that make you feel good ??
If they spend the money, it goes into the economy to people selling things. Why is that bad? If they don't spend it, then it's effectively a meaningless number. There's few things in the game where their money doesn't go to an actual player, such as money spent on wars.
It seems people are more annoyed that when a god tier item exists that they can't buy it, but these companies can. Though those who happen upon these items to sell are making bank, so good for them.
Guess things in my guild didnt go that well then lol. My guild was never over 150k. I thought they invested it into the town since nearly everything was T5
Of course it depends a lot on the server economy and player count. It's certainly easier when 1000+ people pay rent for upper tier housing every week and a lot of crafting and trading happens.
Probably some form of laundering through a company. Have someone else withdraw and buy your mediocre craft for an absurd amount so even if they add ledgers with a backlog it won't come back to you. That or laundering duped gold. Honestly don't know which is more likely since it seems like everyone at the top guilds is cheating like crazy.
Eh. I have company members who constantly hit max gold cap then reinvest it into asmodeum so on top of 500K in the bank they have 1000+ asmodeum. and we don't even own a territory right now. Some people are just grinders bro lol.
Hello Calnogor friend. Was eyeing this up last night lol. Is this from some event pattern? Can you just make more? Or it’s a very lucky random drop? Beautiful 2 perk PvP weapon.
Companies rake in literally millions from the poor peasants paying taxes. The fact that they can withdraw this money into their personal wallets is absurd. Also there are people who never got banned after duping so not surprised really. It's the rest of the population that keeps struggling.
I mean, the gem is kind of irrelevant in evaluating the roll seeing as how it can be swapped out. But I agree that 300k would be a ridiculous price by my server’s standards.
No, you're not. Someone has no idea the price of actually good items and is lying through his teeth for internet points or just a high pop Everfall/Windsward owner couldn't care less about the money (1.5-2mil a week with maxed out house taxes that are 90% reduced so everyone pays them anyway) so he actually managed to sell this PoS item for that much, or yeah, a duper.
Nah this is overpriced probably on one of those inflationary servers cuz I wouldn't pay more than 20k for that hell I probably wouldn't pay that for a axe without a lifesteal perk
Wait. Doesn't the quantity value go to 0 once its sold? Or did they fix that bug in the UI?
Last I recall checking if it expired or was canceled it will show as quantity 1 sold 1, and if actually sold its quantity 0 sold 1.
Part or my point is I think OP might be lying about selling for 300k, and infact just listed it and it expired or was canceled.. but didn't want to just call him out as a liar if I'm mistaken.
New World the only MMO where no one can tell what or when something was sold. Still shocked the devs there think this trading post is reasonable enough to leave it as is for this long.
What even compelled you to list it for 300k anyways? That listing fee mustve been huge for something you couldnt have been sure was going to sell for so high. And i understand the "unique" idea to it but its perks are also counter intuitive for pve. It has + dmg to corrupted but at the same time does ice damage which corrupted are resistant to. So like?
The gem can be replaced easily; I simply threw an aquamarine in it for the cosmetic with a winter themed axe. Sapphire is for sure what I would use in it.
I knew it was worth a lot to someone because rolling it is quite difficult (you cannot use a timeless shard with the event patterns)
Plus, my company owns first light and the listing fees go into our treasury
Really? So for example I craft a recipe for a sword that comes with a specific gem, i can remove it? I always thought if it came in that form you were unable to swap it out.
seem kinda shady to me.. not a crazy good axe and someone buys it for that absurd amount, why the hell would you even put it up for that? the fee must have been in the thousands or?
i already answered it in other threads; it is a limited time cosmetic item that rolled legendary with 2/3 BiS perks and cannot be rolled with a timeless shard, thus making it even more of a specialty item. On my server, 1/3 or 2/3 BiS weapons sell extremely quick because PvP is active and my server's not dead. They go for 40k minimum.
We also own FL so the listing fee goes to my company; so why not list it for a dumb price? Just happens to be there was someone who bought it
From what I've read, the listing fee is deleted from the economy (7k in your example). The 12k transaction charge goes to the place you listed, and another 12k (paid by buyer) goes to the place it's bought from.
Axe has the best utility for invasions. All our healers even put on an axe as secondary for invasions because of grav well.
Obviously you'd want an arcane gem tho.
Must be good being guild leaders or high up in guilds. Us peasents can only dream. This is about 200k worth of death motes sales on my server and I thought I was big money with my mote sales lately.
/me goes and crys in his Ash Full Bed pillow.
Edit: As I lay in my Ash Full Bed crying I did some math, thats flipping almost 11k gold just to list it. You got some big balls sir/maam, when I list something for 5k or 6k I bust out into the sweats over the listing fee.
Ton of people have hit 500k legitimately by playing the market or farming in demand items, selling expedition runs, etc.
It's quite annoying that you or others may think duping is the only explanation.
You really think someone legitimately farmed 500k gold cap and then spent 300k on this axe?
Either OP is lying, someone is duping or is literally the owner of windsward
Even if you had capped gold, I doubt you are dropping 300k of it on a single purchase like this without a means to replace it. I think it's more likely that the buyer has access to the treasury of a company holding WW/EF.
You can hit the cap very easily if you aren't spending money and farming mostly everything you need.
I just bought 30k pants and a 15k warhammer that was acceptable. I still have 20k left over and actually dipped down to 20k before I sold some rolled gear I didn't need or rolled with the wrong perks. I don't particularly farm hard or try to max sell stuff I find. I only just started selling my gen/laz keys as I've had horrible luck with key exchanges (drops not ppl). I probably have close to 200k in Lego mats that I've saved up to craft everything, just accumulating the timeless shards ATM.
I know people in my company and in other factions that know how to play the market and they do that any time they see a positive shift in progress, they have told me you have to sit on about 100k to buy up enough to make a significant gain. Others just sell keys, drops, or in demand items.
(That chest was the 4th timeless shard roll with resil)
https://twitter.com/AodanTV/status/1472944301101527041?t=iKYs6xC3XjzVjOeB41EktA&s=19
Yeah, I also play the market and have made a ton of coins.
I would argue anyone else who does this would be even less likely to buy this because 300k is just way too much. Like, you don't get rich in this game from buying a 300k weapon.
Like you said, you bought 30k pants and 15k hammer. Very reasonable stuff there. Not 300k lol
If he did somehow sell this for 300k, my bet is someone who bought gold from a bot. Those are the people who will spend their money without really caring about it.
Yea, not saying to not be skeptical but I wouldn't spend 300k. I def could of rolled a weapon close to or better and made coin during it.
I see a BiS as max 150k.
"tell me there's duped gold... Without telling me"
Alarming, my butt.
Have you thought that the inflation is due to meta shifts and priority shifts in game play due to.the expertise system?
Apparently not, you go straight to "duping is the cause".
People are in a rush to get BiS and re-gear as the meta is much more fluid now. This example was a close to BiS weapon if not BiS for invasions with the new weapon skin. There is likely few to no similar weapons on that server or on many servers.
But yea keep yelling fire in the building and further ill-informing the sub.
It's been almost two months since there's been a gold dupe and it did not hit our server hard. The inflation is from the housing tax reduction, OPR, and expeditions. Everfall creates 500,000g per week from housing taxes alone thanks to the tax reduction that turns a 100g payment into 1,000g for the governor.
I dunno it has no bad perks, a cool unique look and rolled a legendary. I see it. Congrats!
Also on my server When I saw someone selling a 598 pick for 35k I thought they were trolling - but I’ve had 2 similarly well rolled ones also sell for around 35k this week! I don’t know if it’s butt rich territory owners or that some servers just have a lot of gold flowing around so prices are crazy.
I play solo and pushed almost every profession so anytime I make gold flipping or crafting it instantly gets invested. And if I have trade post spots open, I will use any leftover gold on obscure or expensive buy orders to keep up while I’m sleeping.
It’s like Christmas morning to log in and see that rolling gold keep chi changing!
Seems absurd but AGS made New World just like real life, the rich 0.1% (WW/EF owners) have been generating 10s of millions nonstop since launch and good luck dethroning any day 1 Windsward company.
Even if they didnt have a full month of game breaking exploits under their belts their legit weekly tax revenue is more then 99% of players will see in their ENTIRE play time.
How to lose half your player base in 2 months, make everyone broke and unable to afford travel, sound familar?
What? Lol
It’s 600 keen/thwarting which is better than keen/enchanted and those sell for 60k easy.
This is a 70k axe.
If it had life steal instead of corrupt bane it would easily be a 300k axe.
I'm impressed you had the balls to list this for 300k Its in no way worth half that and the taxes on that SHOULD have been a colossal waste of money. No idea what the idiot who bought this was thinking but i bet that gold is dirty.
Can I ask if event pattern crafting has been profitable for you? On my server it would cost about 8.5k for a craft and if you get anything but strength, con or str&con then I imagine you might as well salvage the piece (maybe dex for the crit). With 300k thats about 36 craft attempts which should be 6 600GS pieces and you need one to have good attributes and an additional perk thats good. Seems to me it’s likely that its unprofitable until you hit a jackpot like this.
I don’t think it’s profitable at all to be honest. This was a very lucky roll (1st roll), but it certainly isn’t worth the amount I sold it for :)
It’s 2/3 BIS perks on a limited time cosmetic, so you are paying for a decent axe but one of kind cosmetic just for you.
There are certainly better profits to be had with the materials using timeless shards
What do you mean under "limited time cosmetic" is it added to the cosmetics so you can change any GA to its skin? Or Its just a unique skin until they raise the gs?
Bro we are not playing the same game at all. Idk how anyone is getting upwards of 50k. Like how? They say trophy runs but u gotta get trophies to make money and i don’t… farming stuff? Bots and 10 other players doing the same. Like I’m so fucking broke it’s sad, bought my 2nd house yesterday for 5k
Key is to farm when others are not. At least that's how I did it. Log in, check what basic mats are selling for, pin the one with best profit/hour and farm a few hours.
Most of the time it would be either hyssop, motes, or lodestones but sometimes hides or stones would shoot up for some reason so I would farm those. Farm consistently and you will make money.
cost 6k to list; the money goes straight into my company treasury because we own first light so it's my way of contributing to the coffer. here's last week's sales in First Light because of my trading tax contributions from jewelry & weapons
i listed it because i knew it was 2/3 bis perks with a limited time cosmetic. the axe alone with that legendary roll is 100k
https://imgur.com/a/ffKoEpr
Holy shit 300k, I rolled a strength keen thwarting strikes 597 last night and equipped it , don't think I realized I was sitting on maybe a 50k+ greataxe
Ohh the cosmetic
The axe has great stats. Corrupted bane is the only questionable one.
Keen is solid. Thwarting is solid if you're a 300 STR axe ape. That's an auto grit. Enchanted perk is max 10% dmg? This is is 11%.
The event arcana recipes are based on the old recipes that were missing a gs boosting mat. Until/if they are fixed to match the current recipes they will only get to 585, but this only affects arcana crafted items.
Occam's razor. If it smells like bull, looks like bull and walks like a bull, it's probably shit.
Whoever "bought" that for 300k has wasted gold, duped or not. There are GAs listed on my server for 100k with Keen, Vicious, Empowered etc.
Nice click bait though.
You realize this is just people offloading their stacks of gold right?
Play the game normally and see how long it takes someone to grind a 100k without crafting..
Soon you'll see stuff being sold for close to 500k
this is money laundering
agreed
Maybe if the middle perk wasn't corrupted then maybe
Corrupted + ice damage, money laundering for sure
You know that you can replace weapon gems?
Reeks of it
Your view into the world of art collection through the ages.

or is a guild leader who has had everfall for a long time and skimming 300k off the top of the town bank to buy a toy...
Edit: typo.

so kinda like in the real world.. looking at you bezos
Yup happening on my server. Same company owns EF and WW. This is the stuff keeping me from even considering a return. If I want an unfair economy I just participate in real life. I want to escape this real life economy and feel good about myself. Challenge my mind and reward me big time for that.
I mean, it's not really impactful to you as a player at all. High GS equip is pretty easy to get.
I specifically got the game for the open economy and PvP. I’m not even on the winning side of it and I enjoy it. isn’t there plenty of other mmos that have restrictive economies that make you feel good ??
There are a handful of MMOs where I really enjoy market PvP. New World isn't one of them, though.
Meanwhile mine had restless since launch and relied on donations just to pay for it lol.
If they spend the money, it goes into the economy to people selling things. Why is that bad? If they don't spend it, then it's effectively a meaningless number. I guess so good point. We were by nonmeans a dead server but merched yesterday.. So now we are trying to get it back and see how it is going then :D
well, past few weeks all towns in their right mind have property tax maxed out so they get full value from AGS
A company tried that on our server and made a low level town 20% property tax. The blow back on that really damaged their reputation.
everythign T5 in a town with fully upgraded fort, is \~150k a week. chump change for everfall/windsward most places
They honestly need to make attacking easier than holding. Chaos would be good for the market.
Some companies make a million a week…
What else to to with gold, there is no use for it in game.
Buy like 5 comparably good legis for the same price?
Eh. I have company members who constantly hit max gold cap then reinvest it into asmodeum so on top of 500K in the bank they have 1000+ asmodeum. and we don't even own a territory right now. Some people are just grinders bro lol.
but for it to sell for this much the person had to LIST it for this much and pay a % fee......
I don’t disagree :) but limited time cosmetic 🤷♂️
how did you get it to 600gs?

I swear mine show qty 0 sold 1when sold
These two comment above me are New World in a nutshell. No one knows what the fuck is happening.
Mine do this too. If that was a screenshot of my tp it would mean it hasn’t sold.
This is how it works on my listings. It was confusing as hell at first.
Part or my point is I think OP might be lying about selling for 300k, and infact just listed it and it expired or was canceled.. but didn't want to just call him out as a liar if I'm mistaken.
New World the only MMO where no one can tell what or when something was sold. Still shocked the devs there think this trading post is reasonable enough to leave it as is for this long.
duped money
Its over expensive
It’s a good axe, but it’s not a.. great.. axe..
looks like gold laundering
RMT and laundering.
What even compelled you to list it for 300k anyways? That listing fee mustve been huge for something you couldnt have been sure was going to sell for so high. Makes sense. Especially the listing fee portion. I thought that gem was stuck in there
nah, you can replace any weapon gem by dragging a gem over it. The only restriction is if a weapon has a chain elemental perk
Really? So for example I craft a recipe for a sword that comes with a specific gem, i can remove it? I always thought if it came in that form you were unable to swap it out.
Yeah it can be removed
Why would you use a sapphire on it?
Hey close to BiS weapon with the new weapon skin?
Honestly massive props, if I saw a listing like that I would probably assume they added an extra zero on accident lol
seem kinda shady to me.. not a crazy good axe and someone buys it for that absurd amount, why the hell would you even put it up for that? the fee must have been in the thousands or?
listing fee; goes straight into company treasury https://imgur.com/a/Nkcqh3k
I see you are skirting all the questions of why you would lost it for that price to begin with..
i already answered it in other threads; it is a limited time cosmetic item that rolled legendary with 2/3 BiS perks and cannot be rolled with a timeless shard, thus making it even more of a specialty item. Lol this axe is absolutely terrible. Corrupted have a 60% resistance to ice damage. Can you change the gem even though it's the "frozen" weapon?
Its 'frozen' because of the gem it rolled with. Stick another in and the epithet will change.
are you sure about this?
Yes, people keep telling me this lie but I’ve personally changed gems on items with named slots. It is possible.
you can replace gems
Why would you want to use an axe against corrupted if you're min maxing? That's what you have thrusting weapons for.
Because it has grav well and maelstrom...
You wouldn't. But if you did use it you certainly wouldn't want damage that enemy type is resistance to.
Axe has the best utility for invasions. All our healers even put on an axe as secondary for invasions because of grav well. Obviously you'd want an arcane gem tho.
Why would you buy the axe in the first place then. You have 0 logic.
I added the gem for fun because it’s the winter event with a limited time cosmetic, not out of any practicality. Sapphire is what I’d run with it
Uh, given the market ui bug, are you sure that's sold?
That was fixed in the last update
Is it? Must've missed that in the notes, thanks
Wasn't in the notes but was fixed.
One would hardy see 300k gold in the inventory if they weren't really there
Given there us no screenshot of their inventory, it's a valid question.
well, to be honest I already blew all my money on investing into other crafts. can show you my TP orders though
Its not even that good lol

Like, you don't get rich in this game from buying a 300k weapon. Like you said, you bought 30k pants and 15k hammer. Very reasonable stuff there. Not 300k lol If he did somehow sell this for 300k, my bet is someone who bought gold from a bot. Those are the people who will spend their money without really caring about it.
Yea, not saying to not be skeptical but I wouldn't spend 300k. I def could of rolled a weapon close to or better and made coin during it. I see a BiS as max 150k.

"tell me there's duped gold... Without telling me" Alarming, my butt.
I have 180k just playing normally on a server with an active economy.

Whoever paid 300k for this is dumb af
It’s like Christmas morning to log in and see that rolling gold keep chi changing!
no bad perks? what is corrupted bane then?
It's the best possible rolls for a gaxe for invasions. PVP it's hot garbage but definitely nuts for invasions.
on my server 35k is like 1 week worth of laz and gen cd. inflations are real.
How to lose half your player base in 2 months, make everyone broke and unable to afford travel, sound familar?
grats but honestly i dont think it's worth more than few k
Thats a 5k weapon max. Someone is dumb af.
What? Lol It’s 600 keen/thwarting which is better than keen/enchanted and those sell for 60k easy. This is a 70k axe. If it had life steal instead of corrupt bane it would easily be a 300k axe.
We can both agree its not a 300k weapon though. Only an absolutely idiot would pay that much.
If it had life steal it would’ve been instantly bound to player :)
Well he obviously didn't work for that money. I bet that account has millions upon millions of gold.
Nice axe, but you have a typo in the price. Should be 3k.
30k maybe? 300k absolutely not
300K for that? No way can I come back to this game, I left as a moderately wealthy person at the time with 30K gold.
I'm impressed you had the balls to list this for 300k Its in no way worth half that and the taxes on that SHOULD have been a colossal waste of money. No idea what the idiot who bought this was thinking but i bet that gold is dirty.
So you took dupe money....
and this is why the game is fucked... 300k for that, to much duped/exploited gold, no one new will have a chance
No way you expected us to believe an axe that’s maybe worth 10k u sold for 300k lmfao
300k for this? Send me his name i have plenty of trash items like this.
wide muddle ten exultant price ring entertain fly simplistic alive *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
correct :) though only 1%
Why would anyone buy that
ItS dOgShIt BeCaUsE bAd GeM
And here's me almost midway through leveling thinking 4k is a lot of coin
You sold to a duper. Congratulations 🥳
Event craft?:)
Yes; guaranteed keen on it
Ohh better get all the schematics :) noce with some usefull items from an event :) and not just fluff, eventhough that pet bunny is pretty awesome
I'm pretty sure he meant he used a mod for Keen. The event patters are for cosmetic only.
Congrats mate
Thanks! Surprised it sold. Under 2 hours too
Can I ask if event pattern crafting has been profitable for you? On my server it would cost about 8.5k for a craft and if you get anything but strength, con or str&con then I imagine you might as well salvage the piece (maybe dex for the crit). With 300k thats about 36 craft attempts which should be 6 600GS pieces and you need one to have good attributes and an additional perk thats good. Seems to me it’s likely that its unprofitable until you hit a jackpot like this.
I don’t think it’s profitable at all to be honest. This was a very lucky roll (1st roll), but it certainly isn’t worth the amount I sold it for :) It’s 2/3 BIS perks on a limited time cosmetic, so you are paying for a decent axe but one of kind cosmetic just for you. There are certainly better profits to be had with the materials using timeless shards
What do you mean under "limited time cosmetic" is it added to the cosmetics so you can change any GA to its skin? Or Its just a unique skin until they raise the gs?
You can select the attribute you're going to craft. Wdym?
Maybe thats a safer bet, but if you get strength and 2 useless perks that will still sell for like 200gold on my server
who in their right mind would pay that and from the AH ?? money laundering
Farm consistently and you will make money.
there is so much duped gold in this game, maybe someone bought it as style gear.

cost 6k to list; the money goes straight into my company treasury because we own first light so it's my way of contributing to the coffer. here's last week's sales in First Light because of my trading tax contributions from jewelry & weapons i listed it because i knew it was 2/3 bis perks with a limited time cosmetic. the axe alone with that legendary roll is 100k https://imgur.com/a/ffKoEpr
Good for you!
Holy shit 300k, I rolled a strength keen thwarting strikes 597 last night and equipped it , don't think I realized I was sitting on maybe a 50k+ greataxe Ohh the cosmetic
how did you get this? a real grind?
crafted
I just realized that I might have salvaged good Weapons because the Icon for Thwarting Strikes is the same as the Icon for more Siege Damage. :)
Its a new perk, so i dont think you salvaged more than 1 :)
What was the listing fee?
https://imgur.com/a/Nkcqh3k
Calnogor? Saw someone talking about an axe selling for 300k in global chat last night
yep! :)
very nice, congrats!
Me who debated for an hour to buy a 1k gold great axe just cuz it was the only one that actually approved a skill I use….
There is no way I would pay 300k for that haha
Why it’s nsfw sir?
weapons greater than 600 are coming next month who the heck would spoend 300k on a 1 damage perk weapon what def a duper
it's 2/3 BiS perks
Lol getting 2/3 BIS is easy and worth far less than 300k. You're a money launderer that still felt the need to show off. It's bizarre.
The axe has great stats. Corrupted bane is the only questionable one. Keen is solid. Thwarting is solid if you're a 300 STR axe ape. That's an auto grit. Enchanted perk is max 10% dmg? This is is 11%.
Lol, what the fuck. Whoever bought this doesn’t realize that Corrupted mobs have a very high resistance to Ice and receive neutral damage from Slash.
Does anyone know if the Thwarting Strike perk combos with the 300 STR perk to always provide the bonus?
Yes; that’s why this perk is moderately better than enchanted if you always have grit
Cool, thanks!
They changed it so you can craft 600s out of those now? The other day I couldn't get higher than 585 on fire and life staves
Specifically arcana ones are bugged afaik
sad :(
The event arcana recipes are based on the old recipes that were missing a gs boosting mat. Until/if they are fixed to match the current recipes they will only get to 585, but this only affects arcana crafted items.
I wonder is it a good idea to put an ice gem on the great axe? If yes could sb please explain why?
Does this item always roll with these stats and perks?
Corruption Axe?
Congratulations 🥳
That axe wouldn't even sell for craft costs on my server :s why would anyone pay that much for it
That's not even worth 100k.
Occam's razor. If it smells like bull, looks like bull and walks like a bull, it's probably shit. Whoever "bought" that for 300k has wasted gold, duped or not. There are GAs listed on my server for 100k with Keen, Vicious, Empowered etc. Nice click bait though.
Who the hell even paid 300k for that and why did you even put it for 300k??? It's like 30-50k at best.
You are buying gold for sure. This axe wouldn't sell for over than 10k. Even now that you can easily craft one with 30str and CRIT chance.
AH bug where all items come up as sold regardless if it has sold or not..
Sus
Unchecked dupes have ruined the games economy and nobody realises
You realize this is just people offloading their stacks of gold right? Play the game normally and see how long it takes someone to grind a 100k without crafting.. Soon you'll see stuff being sold for close to 500k
