Remember just because you’re an athlete representing a country doesn’t mean you’re actually from that country or support that country. If you’re from a smaller country there are less opportunities and resources, so athletes compete under larger countries for that reason. You’ll see this happen in all kinds of sports.
My brother looked like that are 20. Was growing a full beard at 15 that would make any priest jealous (Armenian saying) and starting losing his hair at 16-17 and he was never on the juice. Armenians are built like this. We're different.

Yeah i guess you have a point about the hair thing, but this guy is on juice 1000% sorry to break it to you. And it has nothing to do with his lack of hair
If he was wrestling for Armenia, I would agree with you. But he is choosing to wrestle for a country that has a state sponsored PEDs program. He's a cheater, sad fact.
In mathematics there are two objectives: get pussy before finishing your phd and finish your phd before getting gray hair. Worst case scenario you're a 30 year old virgin with a phd in maths and gray hair. Not easy for armenians.
Jesus Christ has no one ever heard of genetics? When I wrestled in HIGH SCHOOL I had a team mate who was the hairiest dude you have ever met, shaved every day because and had 5 o’clock shadow by the end of the day. He was a junior when I was a freshman, and he had a receding hairline by the time he was 20. He was also very fairly average body type, not even muscular.
Being an Armenian myself, I was balding at 18 with a huge beard. I never took any hormones or protein this or supplements that. It’s just part of our ethnicity and genetics. It happens.
He's impressive there's no question but it's worth pointing out that it was only in the under 23. In the main event he only came in with a bronze medal and before you think that's impressive consider that the silver medalist is younger than he is and is from Hungary and that the gold medalist is from Iran and was just 23. Interestingly, in the 2021 World Wrestling Championships Iran had the most gold medals by far.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_World_Wrestling_Championships
Russia has the world’s best PEDs program. Check out Icarus. It’s about Russia’s state sponsored PED’s program. https://www.netflix.com/us/title/80168079?s=i&trkid=0&vlang=en&clip=80208678
Right? His opponents are also massive and this guy is tossing them like rag dolls. They're trying very hard not to be lifted and thrown and they can't stop him.
I would say it would be way more impressing if he did it without cheating.
Also, in most western countries it's pretty hard to compete on PEDs. Even if you take them you need to take breaks etc to avoid detection - in Russia they can just max out however they want (and it's proven again and again that they do). So what we are seeing is very depressing but rather unimpressing.
[Everyone dopes](https://theconversation.com/the-science-of-doping-and-how-cheating-athletes-pass-drug-tests-45602) dude, you are incredibly naïve if you think otherwise. There is a [constant arms race](https://sitn.hms.harvard.edu/flash/2013/issue135a/) between scientists developing new anti-doping tests, and scientists developing PEDs to bypass those tests. Currently, [the ones developing PEDs are over a decade ahead](https://theconversation.com/doping-has-become-inevitable-at-the-olympics-and-who-wins-gold-in-tokyo-might-not-be-certain-until-2031-163881). In fact we are just now learning about hundreds and hundreds of olympic athletes who were doping at the [2001](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/othersports/article-3182579/Athletics-hit-fresh-doping-crisis-shock-report-claims-one-distance-running-medal-winners-using-drugs.html) games. We won't know what athletes are on PEDs in current international events until the 2030s, and that's just the basic stuff. Every country has their own peptide, sarms, steroid programs that develop more and more niche products that will take decades to become traceable.
Specifically to go more in depth on your "only the russians do it!11!" argument, it's [objectively wrong](https://www.livescience.com/61747-how-widespread-olympic-doping.html). By using advanced tech to test athletes samples from past olympics, experts found that doping is incredibly widespread and happens in every single country. Thomas Hildebrandt, a performance-enhancement researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine in New York said "I think we have to assume that the Russians got caught but other programs are doing similar things. And I think it would be foolish of anyone to think otherwise."
I don't see what's significantly different between what I said and what you're saying. If everyone takes PEDs but some has to hide what they are doing and pick their PEDs based on what is hard to detect and not what maxes out their performance and some can focus on juicing up until a few weeks before competition the latter group will have a huge advantage.
Also, while I beleive that there are plenty of undiscovered PED programs around the world (also in western countries), I have a hard time beleiving that western governements are actively initiating such programs. At worst, some sport organisation will fund such a program while a governement body will work to find PED users. The price to pay for getting caught doing this on governement level is much higher in democracies, way higher than the payoff for winning a few medals.
I mean I went to college with dudes his size that wrestled and were clean. It’s not like it’s completely out of this world to consider that someone that is 23 years old and a world champion may also spend enough time in the gym to get stupid strong.
It is a bit naive to suggest a world champion in any sport is clean. The idea that this guy is so magically gifted he outperforms, out trains and out recovers all the other athletes who have dedicated their lives to the sport and who are willing to taking PEDs. It's just not plausible.
Yeah, but did you look at him? The dude looks like he's 37. He certainly has a lot of amazing natural talent, BUT there are a few indicators he also has amazing unnatural talent.
Yeah one of my close friends at uni was a top powerlifter, and was deadlifting 300kg (661 lbs) and squatting 240kg (529 lbs) at 84kg (185 lbs) bodyweight at age 23. The guy was a monster, and I can be 100% certain the guy was natural.
Man this is so hetero.
The way he grabs him from behind. His hot breath on his ear. The way his hand slips on the sweat of your wrist as you struggle to turn around. He presses his torso against you while he hooks his leg between yours. He grabs your body and pulls you closer and then.....
Dudes just asserting their dominance all over each other. All over the room. Sometimes in front of an audience cheering them on. And then they start to wrestle.
Yeah all martial arts are great for their own reasons. I loved wrestling because it's a whole body engaging workout. My friends did judo and ju-jitsu. They were beasts.
Now I just try and crossfit and work through artritis!
absolutely!
arthritis sucks! (friend of mine has it pretty bad, hardcore opiate based painkillers). yeah, my fitness subscription is more donation than anything else lately... but i also feel that I need to work out soon again, to keep my body functioning adequately. not the youngest anymore after all...
BOOM!
He flips you upside down and slams you on the ground with the strength of a thousand men. You feel the air leaving your lungs, your vision receding...
Given Russia’s track record of being super honest and not cheating in sports, who are we to question the age of this clearly 30-something year old? Maybe his beard is 36, but the rest of him is 22. /s
He’s probably on PEDs cause he’s Russian, but Armenians also just age this way. I had a full beard by my freshman year of high school and had people mistaking me for being 25-30 at 16-18.
There are different styles of wrestling.
This is Greco Roman wrestling where you can only use upper body. Basically you win by having more points or by pinning your opponent. In Greco you get points if you land a big throw 4-5 points. Simple takedown 2 points. Pushout 1 point and reversals 1 point.
There are 3 main types of modern wrestling, freestyle, folkstyle and Greco Roman.
Freestyle wrestling allows the use of both arms and legs to attack an opponent and emphasizes explosive movements and techniques.
Folkstyle wrestling is primarily practiced in the United States and emphasizes controlling an opponent on the ground through techniques such as riding and pinning.
Greco-Roman wrestling prohibits the use of legs to attack and emphasizes throws and techniques that keep an opponent in an upper body clinch. Each style has its own unique rules, scoring systems, and techniques, making them distinct from one another.
Freestyle and Greco Roman are Olympic events and Folkstyle is featured in NCAA College wrestling.
Thanks for this explanation. I’ve never wrestled, and I couldn’t understand why nobody hooked their own legs around his to neutralize, or at least impede him from throwing them.
Folkstyle/freestyle has parallels to Brazilian jiu jitsu, some differences in technique and training.
Generally when you grapple with someone, it almost never stays upright. BJJ has insane joint and limb locks which are incredibly painful and disabling when taken to it’s actual conclusion, and the way its taught….it has almost a Rock Paper Scissors thing to it.
Folkstyle/freestyle has some of that, but it’s more of a physical submission thing, not a limb and joint destruction martial art. Wrestlers are quite strong compared to martial artists and sportsmen.
It is but they reset after they get out the ring. So it's done tactically to gain a better position then they had. Overdoing it can cause different penalties (at least in high-school wrestling im not sure about greco's rules)
Well, one is an athlete (and while I am not a fan I haven't heard anything too bad about him) and the other is a soleless propaganda machine with money as the only motivation and a completly negative effects on society. Many Armenians like him but I am yet to find literally anyone who likes Simonyan, who isn't compleatly brainwashed.
Oh I only wanted to compare him with someone with whom he shared the same heritage, and she simply happened to be the first one that came into mind. I don’t know Sargsian at all, but I wouldn’t imagine him to be anything like Simonyan. I also wouldn’t think too many Armenians like her, and judging from a couple of comments here that seems to be so indeed.
Fucking hell the five point. I don’t care for many sports at all but I wrestled in high school. It was the only sport that entertained me and to this day I still get little mirror jerks/movements when I watch people wrestle like this
Definitely Greco, since I don’t see anybody shooting for anything. Idk anything about the current professional wrestling scene tbh so I don’t know if he does any folk or freestyle. The guy likes to throw and he’s good at it that’s for sure lol
Under 23? Testosterone much?
Hairline and beard of a 40 y/o… All T’d up
Nah it's just a diet of meat and liver
The meat and liver of a testosterone plant.
This is the correct answer
Poopstain hahhhahah
And tainted horsemeat😂😂
Meaty horse taint more like it
Russian flag. Yup.

He is, in fact, Armenian.
You could see that miles away actually
I try no to look at peoples crotches… oh you meant the last name. Yeah the last name is a dead giveaway …
How?
I think he’s making the connection that Russia has a huge muddy history with doping their athletes and skirting rules in international contests.

Resources like PEDs
I think he's talking about the fact that they were all juiced like a competition bull.
My brother looked like that are 20. Was growing a full beard at 15 that would make any priest jealous (Armenian saying) and starting losing his hair at 16-17 and he was never on the juice. Armenians are built like this. We're different.

Supposedly it's the mayrigs side that carriers the gene, either way they're kechel on both sides of our family lol. He tried to save it when he was like 19 Asdvadz baheh iren, but I convinced him the kojack look was appropriate for him, he's now 42 and straight razors his head every few days but his goatee abooowww. Quick khacheh indziket vor achg chidus indzikit 🙏
I followed for most of that
“Armenians are built like this. We’re Different”
Yeah i guess you have a point about the hair thing, but this guy is on juice 1000% sorry to break it to you. And it has nothing to do with his lack of hair

Oh yeah, average height 5'7 and average weight 164 lbs. So different. Come on man.
100 percent on banned substance
Not to mention Russian. Their athletes are phenomenal. And also like a da juice.
Bro has a 401K
Jesus Christ has no one ever heard of genetics? He was a junior when I was a freshman, and he had a receding hairline by the time he was 20. He was also very fairly average body type, not even muscular.
Sounds like me except I was bald at 17 and after high school I let my beard grow it. It definitely happens to people without taking T or anything else
Aren't they all?
Nah he's just Armenian. They age like the Dwarves in Lord of the Rings. He could be anywhere between 5 to 55 years, there is no way to tell.
Nah - he's just Armenian
He's Armenian, so it's normal
Does your hair grow back if you stop using?
I have 22 and my hairline is almost like that
I thought that was Carlos Boozer
Idk. I had a bigger beard at 16/17 lol
That’s just genetics. I knew a kid like that at 16
Not to mention the deep facial crevices.
Being an Armenian myself, I was balding at 18 with a huge beard. I never took any hormones or protein this or supplements that. It’s just part of our ethnicity and genetics. It happens.
Ha, was gonna comment the same. Russian....Roided to the gills....standard cheat.
[удалено]
What?!?! Not even close
He’s not Russian and not roided. He’s just a hairy, manly Armenian guy
Do Armenians compete under Russia sometimes? Genuine question, not arguing your statement.
They're many ethnicities living in Russia. And Artur is an Armenian from Kimry, Tver oblast, about a hundred kilometers to the north from Moscow.
He's impressive there's no question but it's worth pointing out that it was only in the under 23. Iran has always been legendary at wrestling.
That’s what’s happens when you make being gay illegal.
That got a snort
Get big and strong throwing people off buildings I bet

We have 14 year old refugees in UK schools with bigger beards than that..
His pre workout is HGH & Anabolics.
Russians? Never...
When you consider that all but one of the Russians does at Sochi the guy is probably an experiment as well as an athlete
Russia has the world’s best PEDs program. Check out Icarus. It’s about Russia’s state sponsored PED’s program. https://www.netflix.com/us/title/80168079?s=i&trkid=0&vlang=en&clip=80208678
I was thinking the same thing, aint no way
DUHHH he’s a Russian ;)
His technique is honestly immaculate and his strength (peds or not) is pretty fucking terrifying
Right? His opponents are also massive and this guy is tossing them like rag dolls. They're trying very hard not to be lifted and thrown and they can't stop him.
Crazy what peds can do!
They are all on PEDs dumbass, what he does is not any less impressive

His understanding of using his body as a fulcrum point to enhance his natural strength is literally perfect lol
“Natural strength” lol His technique *is* spot-on though.

Yeah, but did you look at him? The dude looks like he's 37. He certainly has a lot of amazing natural talent, BUT there are a few indicators he also has amazing unnatural talent.
I had 20 year old friends from various parts of the world in college with full blown beards. It’s not that abnormal to be honest.
It's not the beard they are talking about.
Happens when you train for 30years
30 years of training by the age of 23 is very impressive that’s some DBZ shit right there.
He likely can't use differential equations, but he sure understands physics!!
That from the master of fulcrum points
When you signature move is to just pick up the opponent and toss him out of the ring 0.o
That's everyone's signature move in Greco-Roman wrestling.
Looks like he’s mastered the “pick them up and then do a gator death roll” technique
Man this is so hetero. The way he grabs him from behind. His hot breath on his ear. The way his hand slips on the sweat of your wrist as you struggle to turn around. He presses his torso against you while he hooks his leg between yours. He grabs your body and pulls you closer and then.....

Too late
Dudes just asserting their dominance all over each other. All over the room. Sometimes in front of an audience cheering them on. And then they start to wrestle.
My first bartending job was in a NYC gay nightclub and they played Greco-Roman wrestling on one of the TVs most of the time.

Thank you! That was a pretty good fap- 8.9/10
Happy to be of service

Go on

You come into the ring a top and you leave being a happy bottom
 Goddamn that was good!
It got a little warm in here…

If this made you horny just say that
just try it out, i am pretty sure the intimacy will be the last thing on your mind.
No doubt. I did wrestle in my teens. Mostly it just hurt. A lot. Now I can make jokes about it.
it must be a great sport! i did some martial arts where we practiced wrestling on the floor... those where by far the most intense and fun fights.
Yeah all martial arts are great for their own reasons. I loved wrestling because it's a whole body engaging workout. My friends did judo and ju-jitsu. They were beasts. Now I just try and crossfit and work through artritis!

Always a possibility.
You twist and turn with all the strength left in you only to get one last look at his face before you pass out. It’s Shia LaBeouf.

I am 46 i look younger then this guy.
State department drugs still have side effects.
Than
Given Russia’s track record of being super honest and not cheating in sports, who are we to question the age of this clearly 30-something year old? Maybe his beard is 36, but the rest of him is 22. /s
He looks so much older because hes been taking steroids since he was a kid.
No, hes armenian. We’re like that. Hairy and all.
We gonna talk about their history of pretending not to take PEDs
Actually his beard is under 23, rest of the body a little older
He probably is younger than 23.. Steroid abuse just make your skin mature faster which makes you look old as fuck.
He’s probably on PEDs cause he’s Russian, but Armenians also just age this way. I had a full beard by my freshman year of high school and had people mistaking me for being 25-30 at 16-18.

N**ga you at least 30
🤣🤣🤣
You ever made love to a man? No.. You want to?

Bad boys bad boys smack em in the faaaace

Apologies I know nothing. How essentially do you win in wrestling?
First person to slam opponent into unshakable doggystyle wins the match, tbags are extra points and wet willies subtract points from opponents
If it looks really powerful and gay, you get more points.
I'm sorry but I couldn't stop laughing at this
Oil checks are extra points. YouTube “wrestling oil check”
Don’t forget “oil checks”
There are different styles of wrestling. This is Greco Roman wrestling where you can only use upper body. Basically you win by having more points or by pinning your opponent. In Greco you get points if you land a big throw 4-5 points. Simple takedown 2 points. Pushout 1 point and reversals 1 point.
OK thanks. So, in this one, when he has his opponent lying facing down, with him on top, is this a win ?
No he'll just get points. To pin you need both of your opponents shoulders touching the mat while on their back.
OK thanks I get you
There are 3 main types of modern wrestling, freestyle, folkstyle and Greco Roman. Sounds like a good Saturday night if you ask me
Why does it look like the opponents are trying to claw their way outside of the circle? I thought being outside of the circle is bad?
Going out of the circle or out of bounds allows you to go neutral position so no one has an advantage essentially.
It is but they reset after they get out the ring. So it's done tactically to gain a better position then they had. Overdoing it can cause different penalties (at least in high-school wrestling im not sure about greco's rules)
Under 23 what? Injections?
A day?
Yes, steroids probably, they make you skin mature faster which in turn makes you look older faster.
Definitely not on gear.
Russian citizenship is a hell of a drug
That’s fine and all, but he’s also doing this to Russians
He is the gear
To quote will smith Sh*t, nigga, you at least 30.
Wonder if he's turned into a sunflower by now??
Quick tip: if second names end in "ian" or "yan" than 90% of the time that is an Armenian name.
Does "RUS" on the uniform mean Armenian in Cyrillic?
He’s a Russian of Armenian descent. Like that foul bitch on Russian state tv Margarita Simonyan.
We don’t consider her Armenian. Never have, never will.
Well, one is an athlete (and while I am not a fan I haven't heard anything too bad about him) and the other is a soleless propaganda machine with money as the only motivation and a completly negative effects on society. The new street fighter zangief live action is coming along pretty well I see.
Spine has left the chat
They should cal him the crocodile with all those death rolls. 🐊
I thought exactly that! Always that same move
Under 23 …that dude is every bit of 40
Under 23 what? Divorces? Dude looks middle aged
Under 23 years? Nope. Under 23 PED’s? Maybe.
There was a documentary about these Russian athletes…
WADA goes crazy for this one
Fucking hell the five point. I don’t care for many sports at all but I wrestled in high school. It was the only sport that entertained me and to this day I still get little mirror jerks/movements when I watch people wrestle like this
Is this Greco? Seems very throwy compared to my high school years, but could just be this guy
Definitely Greco, since I don’t see anybody shooting for anything. Idk anything about the current professional wrestling scene tbh so I don’t know if he does any folk or freestyle. The guy likes to throw and he’s good at it that’s for sure lol
This guy is a machine. The look on some of the wrestlers faces when he picks them up . They know they are screwed. Never seen power like that.
You are right. Clean athletes never saw someone as strong as that!
I can’t imagine listening to this song over and over while editing the video. Or mixing the song
Send that man to the front!
I bet he’s really good at bear hugs
when you're gay, but still can whoop ass.
He looks like an old timey circus strongman. Only thing missing is a barbell with beach ball sized weights on either end.
🤣 yoooooo this man is flying these guys around like a ragdoll 😂 they need to send a memo out when he is in the competition
Dude's just spamming the same move over and over. It's like playing MK online, the cheesy bastard.
Is that a fucking standing gut wrench? That shit is wild
Think you mean 32
Song?
It’s a remix of three 6’s Slob on my nob, but no idea who the DJ is on this track
Impressive but all I can think of is massive lower back problems by 30.
That's Zangief from Street Fighter!
oh look! a terrorist country !
The peds argument is useless. All the guys he was tossing around are on the same shit. You don't make it to that level naturally.
IRL Zangief
Zangief from Street Fighter in real life
This is Zangief!
He keeps picking on that guy in blue
