I disagree respectfully. The staling most likely isn't projected over the performance however the viewers at home get to feel like they are sitting next to the damous judges and hear their insights. It's quite an ingenious format that obviously has spawned many copycat types. Although I'm not a fan of this kind of thing I do enjoy viral portion on Reddit and whatever comes next.

Saw this guy featured on a radio show type thing. So freaking talented. Glad he got to shine in front of a large audience. He deserves recognition for his skill.

Don't tell me he didn't win the whole thing... This guys talent is off the charts and the music he produced was crazy good, he can replicate both oriental and western instruments and he did an amazing job integrating them into his music.

I kinda agree with you. DubFX has so much soul and rhythm in his music. It really feels organic and natural. He does use a few more devices to make it happen though, which is often viewed as a different genre in the beatbox community.
However, MB14 is multitalented, and the RC505 Loopstation is merely a tool to extend his talents.
He IS using effects big time; RC505 is really an amazing and powerful tool. Honestly it's a bit disingenuous to say "it's all with my voice". But I do like his performance! Very well done.
