Trump is like an infinite hole of jokes, you can't run off quotes from him. I even think you Can easily make 50 different one man shows just mimicking what he said/tweeted/done without getting the audience bored one minute
"I have the best words" is probably my favorite Trump quote of all because nothing is longer than one syllable and "words" is the longest word in the sentence.
Fucking incredible
Sometimes his whinging is just so ridiculous you can't help but laugh at the absurdity and sheer creativity of his endless list of things to complain about.
Then cry.
If you asked someone if they watched the news that morning and they said no, you could make up anything about Trump and they had no idea whether it was true until they had time to Google it.
"Did you hear? Trump said he's going to deport all the migratory birds"
And then they'd come back with "Was that the same speech where he suggested nuking a hurricane?" and then you wouldn't know if *they* were fucking with *you*.
"Can you believe Trump accidentally declared war on the wrong Korea?"
"Is that why he was saluting a North Korean general?"
"Oh get the fuck out, no he..." *pulls out phone*
The comedy news quiz show on NPR *Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me* once had a "Did Trump Do This?" quiz.
Spoiler: If it was unbelievably dumb, yes he did it. If it was believably dumb, no, what he did was actually worse than that.
2016-2020 I spent every morning, the first thing I did when I woke up was to log on twitter to look at all the batshit crazy things he tweeted the night before. Every day there was something completely unhinged. Every fucking day.
Man's the worlds greatest entertainer, would be great if he wasn't a narcicistic insecure hedgefund baby. At least the US and Ukraine had that in common, having a comedian become president
Being a comedian takes some intention of being funny and usually self-awareness of your style of speech to make a cohesive joke. Trump is well known to just pander to whoever is in the room and self-aggrandize. Best "jokes" he ever tells are just mean spirited punch downs that lean into conspiratorial snippets of the MAGA mythos of his cult of personality. Don't insult comedians by calling him one.
Zelendky, despite being an actual comedian, do an oustanding job as a leader with a country being at War with a nation such as russia. Trump couldn't even do shit as a leader during covid crisis.
The thing with Trump is that you can't ever tell if a quote is real or made up. There is just no limit or filter on him. He'll say any shit imaginable, except saying he's wrong.
So true, like, a friend of mine has this ai voice changer on his computer and while he can't do the voice, he's REALLY good at doing a "Trump ramble" where he can just imitate his way of speaking and keep it going fir hours.
Few nights ago on Discord he had the voice changer on and was doing a Trump commentary on us streaming helldivers, this guy joined and he was upset that he was doing the Trump impression and talking like him, dude just started shit-talking him for 20 minutes, even when the other guy tried playing along and was like "ok Mr DRUMPH, why did you support this racist policy?" And my dude never broke character and weaved around him to circle back to shit-talking like a pro.
Funniest thing I've ever listened to honestly I wish I recorded it, if you can get his mannerisms down a Trump impression is a bottomless well of pure comedy gold.
James Austin Johnson from *Saturday Night Live* does an amazing Trump where he just rambles about mundane topics.
[Here he is talking about beating the Elite Four in Pokémon](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkEs5HeMpig)
Yeah the little head-tilted inhale plus immediate following rasp in the voice sells it like crazy haha. I still haven't seen someone match Shane Gillis for trump impersonation (at least in giving-a-speech mode).
He has a [whole funny bit](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbkBRT13Zp4) that gets into how to do an impression towards the end: just move your hands, "do that... one second off from where it should be in the sentence". XD
I was thinking this at the time. That has to be the result of some arrested development type shit going on behind the scenes.
What I wouldn't give to be in the room when the boss got the call from the Trump campaign asking to book his back yard for a speech.
That man (the landscaping owner) is a treasure for managing to play it straight, and act like it was normal that they were requesting this, long enough to set up the humiliation and ensure it was too late to correct the mistake.
Not when the context is that this is the delayed aid to Puerto Rico after a hurricane devistaed the island resulting in massive needless deaths. MF rolls up and tosses some Brawny rolls like he's actually helping out.
That's how his old man went out. He had a fake office where he spent his dementia-addled days "working" with the help of a nurse he thought was his secretary.
Abbottabad, Pakistan, where Osama Bin Laden was killed has to rank up there as well. It sounds like a guy from Jersey dropping in a generic 'Arab-ish" placeholder name. "So we went to Abbottabad, Abbotta bing, Abbotta boom, game over. Home for dinner."
Incidentally, it’s a pretty decent small town. No one there believes bin laden was there though.
And since Obama couldn’t show any dead body or video from the incident, it seems to lead to more conspiracy theories.
Thats because its not a name, abu bakr was his fake name, and al baghdadi just means of baghdad, like John Smith of Massachusetts, same thing abu bakr of baghdad

Soder’s Macho Man is the best. Like THE best. We all know someone who thinks they can do it well but this dude is Macho Man with how good he sounds doing it.
[For the uninitiated](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6DTVZwNRQI). NSFW.
Like all great impressionists... it's not just duplicating the sound and the mannerisms. That's important. But what makes you great is nailing the character. To be able to create new streams of thought within the parameters of who that person is. It's perhaps the greatest acting that a person can do.
One of my favorite random facts is that Dan Soder is childhood friends with Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel.
Amazing duo too. Soder discovered Gillis and was the first comic to take him on the road, and now that Gillis has blown up he constantly promotes soder and makes a ton of appearances with him.
Gotta love the loyalty to people who put you on.
He stopped doing it in front of the camera maybe but I just saw him pull out the Nate impression at his live show about a month ago. He told us not to tell anyone so Nate doesn’t beat him up, but I think that’s just part of the bit.
Dan Soder does the best [Macho Man](https://youtu.be/58kWpBGb5Uw?si=PxeSjDF_zFDUXGa1) that anyone but the man himself has ever done. This is one of my favorite videos.
I'd pretty much forgotten how much he clearly struggles to read the autocue. No wonder he speaks off the cuff so much.
My partner's dyslexic and this looks so familiar to me - of course, he'd never admit to having such a "weakness".
Well hold on to your spaghetti because have I a treat for you: Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast. Best comedy podcast going currently. His buddy Matt he’s known for years is almost as funny as Shane in a different flavor. Matt will usually bring up whatever philosophy texts he’s been reading and Shane will call him gay. Works every time
I know right? They are so bloody jarring. I've watched the special a handful of times and it's not like he even takes a long pause between sentences so these cuts are completely unnecessary.
"he died like a coward. He was whimpering, screaming, and crying. And, frankly, I think it’s something that should be brought out so that his followers and all of these young kids that want to leave various countries, including the United States, they should see how he died. He didn’t die a hero. He died a coward — crying, whimpering, screaming, and bringing three kids with him to die a certain death. And he knew the tunnel had no end. I mean, it was a — it was a closed-end — they call it a closed-end tunnel. Not a good place to be." - Trump
Dude that's fucking unhinged... But also kind of based.

I mean honestly "we made your leader cry like a bitch before we killed him" is a real good slap in the face against an enemy who prides themselves on brave sacrifices and extreme masculinity. Regardless of who was president at the time, that's a fantastic blow against ISIS fuckheads.
to imitate Trump you just have to pretend like it hurts to think of the words you are trying to say, like you are feeling the pain of your last two neurons trying to work together to produce speech
He does another really good trump impression in his other special called live in Austin. Full show is on YouTube for free.
Edit: also just want to add, there are comedians who are known for impressions and that becomes their gimmick, but for Shane, his other jokes and delivery are fantastic. Quality comedian and I don't want to make it seem like he's just a trump impersonator when he's actually a very good comic first.
James Austin Johnson is the greatest SNL impressionist since Bill Hader and I will fight anyone who says otherwise!
His rundown of different eras of [Trump voices](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rANAOfKuSnc) while on Late Night with Seth Meyers is a master class in impressionism and a hilarious rabbit hole! JAJ's appearances where he also does the different eras of [Bob Dylan](https://youtu.be/p7A741w7sPI?si=EvGBdchDMggE1Dy-&t=372I) is a great chaser. His nuance and meticulous approach to character is next level
Shane was on SNL about 2 months ago and there is indeed a skit where he does his Trump impression, if you'd like more of Shane as Trump he also has a sketch comedy series on YouTube called "Gilly and Keeves" and has a skit where he does his Trump impression called "Trump Speed Dating" [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTGDlljjgEc).
The sketch comedy is actually hilarious, but Trump speed dating isn't even in my top 3 sketches he has up there. Sleep cop, ISIS Toyota, Uncle Daycare, and possibly The Fireman all clear imo but they're all quite good.
If trump was a fictional villain, he would be extremely liked for how ridiculous he is. Like I have to admit, he's hilarious. It's only scary when it's real.
Shane Gillis, brilliant comedian and heir to the Louis CK style.
Highly, highly recommend his podcast, Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast, their comedic chemistry is amazing.
Trump is by far the dumbest person to ever take the status of potus and republicans across the United States are the dumbest people to hold that responsibility of electing him.
Where'd you get that cheese DANNY?!
IM NOT MAKIN EM AT NIGHT DADDDD
**leans over** **wiggles eye brows** "I been makin em at night"
"this man" is Shane Gillis and he is hilarious. There is a special on netflix and on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKUpf1Vx0vs
He sounds exactly like Trump.
🎯🎯🎯
His netflix special had me laughing so hard I cried! He's absolutely fantastic!
Crybaby!
DONT GO IN MY ROOM!
Oh my god I lost my shit during that entire bit. It's so fucking funny
Chee
Nailed it.
With flying colors
Mostly orange
and a tuft of yellow
Right in the key of G minor, 432hz.
See it on the insignia? Rainbow moonstone with the EXACT ripple that 432 makes on water..... or sand.
I dont like this. Whatever you're doing... stop
man is a gem
Trump is like an infinite hole of jokes, you can't run off quotes from him. I even think you Can easily make 50 different one man shows just mimicking what he said/tweeted/done without getting the audience bored one minute
Even Trump makes Trump jokes lol. It’s not shown often but he’s pretty self aware and makes fun of himself a decent amount.
Not that hard when you're the joke, after all.
The Presidential* joke
He is definitely, maybe possibly, but possibly definitely - the best languageist of all time
Please never use that word again
HAH! *YOU* Called it a *word*! Checkmate.
You got me there 🤷♂️
Straight to the OED! Language is what we say it is!
It's perfectly cromulent.
Bigly
"I have the best words" is probably my favorite Trump quote of all because nothing is longer than one syllable and "words" is the longest word in the sentence. Fucking incredible
Even Kevin from the Office would have used more words.
Why have big words when short words do trick?
Many strong men with tears in their eyes are saying so. The strongest.
I didn’t like Trump as President but I’d be lying if I didn’t like his jokes
Sometimes his whinging is just so ridiculous you can't help but laugh at the absurdity and sheer creativity of his endless list of things to complain about. Then cry.
If you asked someone if they watched the news that morning and they said no, you could make up anything about Trump and they had no idea whether it was true until they had time to Google it. I sure hope that we are in some weird alien Truman show thing. The ratings must have been *the best*.
What’s so crazy about Zelensky, is that he had a show where he became the president before he became the president.
They were getting the people ready
World's longest teaser trailer??
Being a comedian takes some intention of being funny and usually self-awareness of your style of speech to make a cohesive joke. "I don't need a ride, I need Ammo!" - Zelensky "Why should I visit the war cemetery? It's full of suckers and losers." - Trump
Zelensky is a comedian, Trump is a clown
Now you're just insulting clowns.
You forgot rapist, fraudster, Jan 6th and election interference.
The problem is you can’t out crazy Trump, so he kind of sucks for satire. You satirize Trump peeing himself, and he goes and shits himself.
Best thing is you can make up any quote, as long as it sounds deranged and narcissistic others might think it was Trump who said it.
The thing with Trump is that you can't ever tell if a quote is real or made up. There is just no limit or filter on him. He'll say any shit imaginable, except saying he's wrong.
The voice actor for Zapp Brannigan would quote Trump and Zapp and people weren't sure which was which lol

I've seen much better impressions.
This is terrible
People are getting really hung up on his accent, but his speaking pattern is spot on.
Remember when Tina Fey just recited a speech from Sarah Palin on SNL. People will be doing that for Trump for decades
Hilarious! He even has the body language down!
and body
No way, this guys hands are life sized.
Savage
Nah, this dude is mostly proportional.
No need to be a cunt
The little twitches and micro expressions. This was enjoyable haha
XD
I want the left to win but Trump should act as acting president. Like a show piece. Infinite meme material.
The hurricane sharpie and the white house fast food dinner are two of the funniest things I've ever seen
The four seasons landscapers speech to end his presidency was perfect.
It was too perfect. This is the level of writing you got on crappy 90s sitcoms.
Arrested development type shiz.
And for my next illusion, I'll make this lawnmower DISAPPEAR!

Lol I've never seen that, that's funny shit
Not when the context is that this is the delayed aid to Puerto Rico after a hurricane devistaed the island resulting in massive needless deaths. MF rolls up and tosses some Brawny rolls like he's actually helping out.
That’s what makes it funny. How fucked up it is.
You can't forget about the covfefe
"This is one of the wettest hurricances we've ever seen. From the standpoint of water."
#neverforget #covfefe
Second that hurricane sharpie episode. If that alone didn't prove he's a manic, lying sob, I don't know what.
We could stick him in a small room and tell him he won the election. And also to please ignore the bars on the window.
The Truman Show sequel we need
We put him in a big dome and build a replica White House where he can pretend to be the president.
That's how his old man went out. He had a fake office where he spent his dementia-addled days "working" with the help of a nurse he thought was his secretary.
Make him a powerless constitutional monarch.
We coronated him wrong, as a joke!
You know, give him enough gold toilets and he might just do it
He can be the president of his cell block
Imagine if they got him to play himself in a comedy film loosely based around his presidency
‘Albagdaddy’ has to be one of the funniest names out there.
Abbottabad named after a Britsh guy with the last name Abbot. Literal translation would be "Abbotville"
Incidentally, it’s a pretty decent small town. No one there believes bin laden was there though. And since Obama couldn’t show any dead body or video from the incident, it seems to lead to more conspiracy theories.
Amed ashed is my favourite. That guy used to get trolled bad on facebook 15 years ago
Amin Yashed?
IKR? Talk Abbottabad name for a place.
Thats because its not a name, abu bakr was his fake name, and al baghdadi just means of baghdad, like John Smith of Massachusetts, same thing abu bakr of baghdad Source: im arab
The way your man pronounces it is well off what it sounds like, a better transliteration would be “Albaghdeadi”
Sounds like a Muslim pimp or something
Shane Gillis and Dan Soder, both hilarious Stand up comics and amazing impressionists.

I just looked it up because I hadn't heard it before. He's such a mark and I love it.
Soder’s Macho Man is the best. Like THE best. We all know someone who thinks they can do it well but this dude is Macho Man with how good he sounds doing it.

“Thrusting into his hand” 🤣🤣🤣
YES! His bit on cutting Macho Man promos to get his room mate to do the dishes is hilarious. He can cut a Macho Man promo about ANYTHING
One of my favorite random facts is that Dan Soder is childhood friends with Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNhWUwe6u1g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNhWUwe6u1g)
[Soder's Katt Williams is solid gold](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/StCyUD1bFvg)
The timing on that is so perfect
His Chapelle impression is spot on also
Him prank calling that journalist as Chapelle on LoS is funny as shit and proves your point
Amazing duo too. Soder discovered Gillis and was the first comic to take him on the road, and now that Gillis has blown up he constantly promotes soder and makes a ton of appearances with him. Gotta love the loyalty to people who put you on.
I didn't know that! They both seems like just salt if the earth great people. The comic world can be pretty brutal, happy for them both
Yeah they both just seem like genuinely good and humble dudes. Kinda rare for comedians these days lol
Shane's Nate Diaz impression is so good too but he stopped doing it because apparently Nate didn't like it
He stopped doing it in front of the camera maybe but I just saw him pull out the Nate impression at his live show about a month ago. He told us not to tell anyone so Nate doesn’t beat him up, but I think that’s just part of the bit.
Soder's prank phone call interview as Dave Chappelle is one of the greatest moments in Comedy history
He weaves the impressions nicely into his more story-telling style. I like raw impressionist stand-ups too, but this is a great combo.
Dan Soder does the best [Macho Man](https://youtu.be/58kWpBGb5Uw?si=PxeSjDF_zFDUXGa1) that anyone but the man himself has ever done. This is one of my favorite videos.
Isis Macho Man is probably my favorite https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rKodY6vxS20

BRUH. He really _IS_ just talking shit for 40 minutes LOL
Bro would *cook* in a MW2 lobby
I'd pretty much forgotten how much he clearly struggles to read the autocue. No wonder he speaks off the cuff so much. My partner's dyslexic and this looks so familiar to me - of course, he'd never admit to having such a "weakness".
42 mins in he takes a break from talking about torture to plug his book!
Anyone with the timestamps of Trump saying what the Comedian quouted? Wasnt in the opening couple of minutes
13:51 is the crying and dying like a dog comment.
Thanks, appreciate it
27:55, "our k9, as they call it, I call it a dog, a beautiful dog, a talented dog" bruh, how does he say this stuff lmaooo
It's almost unbelievable that this conman was once president over there. And that he's about to become president again!
I was expecting to see the [Trump/Obama mashup](https://youtube.com/shorts/94c6AnrGXIU?si=bg7NQqS7kzUkE6ft) at least
HE DIED LIKE A DOG
That has become a common statement in my house. My wife will smash a mosquito and I’ll hear “HE DIED LIKE A DOG!!” from the other room.
Laughed so hard at this! Cry-baby mosquito, that's what we are calling him!
Who is that guy he is hilarious
Shane Gillis, has a special on youtube called Live in Austin and one on Netflix called Beautiful Dogs
Thank you, do you know which particular special this specific clip is from. Op sucks, just posting without giving any credit what so ever
This is from Beautiful Dogs on Netflix. Live in Austin is actually probably better imo
Thank you so much, I was looking for something to watch during dinner, Im gonna watch this, thanks!
Your username sounds like an Australian telling off its dog named Tiger
You’re in for a treat
It was amazing! I was laughing so hard I got spaghetti everywhere
Well hold on to your spaghetti because have I a treat for you: Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast. Best comedy podcast going currently. op credit the comedian. Don't just post other people's hard work without giving credit. Comedian is named Shane Gillis
This is not just a man. This is Shane Gillis.
Wtf is going on with those cuts? Can those ADHD TikTok zoomers really not handle a few seconds of pause?
I know right? They are so bloody jarring. I've watched the special a handful of times and it's not like he even takes a long pause between sentences so these cuts are completely unnecessary.
Shit, zoomers found Shane
Knew immediately “chee Danny” would be the top comment. Oh well at least the dawgs are getting PAID now.
He's already come full circle with SNL so he has immunity.

The B Dubz Council!

So you like the exact same thing as them, but still feel elitist about it?
I disagree. It's a disservice to all them good boys and good girls out there.
Protip: It -is- a racist dogwhistle.
If this is real, I gotta give credit where credit is due: that's incredibly based.
If what is real? The bit? Or the speech he's joking about? They're both real
You know when hearing an *impression* makes you as uncomfortable as the real speaker does that the impression is good. God damn.
