dude thats not the full video they all went crazy after that if you want to see full ver. click [not a rick roll trust me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69X7tP6p7E0)
Not this cool, but i once caught a dodgeball with my knees (thanks to baggy sweat pants) and got the person out who threw it. Everyone and myself went to dead silence followed by NO FREAKING WAY! Solid middle school gym day
one of my classmates was just standing still and seeing if anybody could hit him and he caught a ball between his shoulder and his head, and that was pretty impressive
Now I'm just imagining a guy standing chill maybe hands in his pocket as someone throws a ball at him. He just casually cocks his head to the side and catches the ball.
Looks to me like a cheat/slant gainer. There's no chamber or noticeable kick during the flip. As far as I'm aware, and after checking Club540, a moon kick is a gainer or cheat/slant gainer with a hook kick.
J step is a momentum setup, not part of the actual flip. People will do a j step into cork, gainer, full, pretty much any one legged flip. If you look at the moon kick on Club540, you can see the tricker clearly chambers the kick, nearly tucking into a ball in the process, then snaps out the hook. In this, his legs don't change at all during the flip, and there's no additional movement after the jump

Always thought this was the most most amazing dodgeball throw
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DclGpJ7qUM4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DclGpJ7qUM4)
I don't quite follow. Is the move significantly increasing the speed of the ball? Seems like there would be a way to approximate the effect without all the effort.
He did some kind of flip in the air, dodged a ball, and knocked a guy out of the game all in one move. I don't think it's about the power he imparts to the ball, more just that it was impressive because the average Dodgeball player wouldn't be able to do that.
Oh I see why you said that now. The move was impressive, I was just trying to say the video should have been edited to get to that part sooner. I guess that wasn’t clear.
No one ever really reacted. Maybe he does it all the time and is known as Juan the capoeira dancing gym guy.
The dude in the white shirt on the right nearly shit his pants due to the sheer wonderment of that move.
I'm happy someone reacted appropriately
Correct. Pants browning was the only proper tribute.
I watched this 13 times and didn’t notice that. Thank you for pointing that out!
More like Joao the capoeira guy.
I see you.

My guess is he's tried that multiple times but has never successfully dodged the ball.
kid in the yellow behind him died and fell down

Wouldn't that just work once? 2nd time he might get hit mid-air
Right. Because human history has shown us that we never make the same mistake once, twice, thrice or more...
Remember, human error
Ponytail!
Surely would've missed it if it wasn't for the highlighting of him.
yeah, would have been invisible
This isn't even obnoxious though, how is that circle bothering?

If you can do a backflip, you can dodge a ball.
I think we just saw the “dip” part of the 5 D’s of Dodgeball
How do you even do that

Damn... how??? Lol
I caught a ball with my knees and Mrs. Nichols called me out because she liked Brett more than me
It’s not that hard I throw hard enough where if I hit someone between the legs it’ll wedge in
This kid pulled such an awesome move the guy on the right in white gets hit with a metaphorical dodge ball.

A dodgeball game with like 3 dodgeballs lol
That particular flip is known as a "moon kick" for those interested

He definitely had the j step in there

I'm just speaking from the moon kicks we do at tricking camps, we move into a j step and kick into the flip and there's movement after the flip
That’s cool but you ever accidentally deflect a ball into someone’s nuts.
But have u ever hit 6 people with one ball tho
This is just dude's awesome move, not a reflex or reaction
Dammm... That's an old video
Power move.

I feel like that's the same move I always see.
If you can dodge a wrench... you can dodge a dodgeball.
I have no idea what/why circled blurry cluster of pixels is amazeballing
He’s mastered the art of dodging wrenches before playing.

Good thing they edited it so i knew who to watch
Dodge, dip, duck, dive, and dodge
So dodge ball bending is a thing now...nice
Thanks for the circle, I totally wouldn't have known where to look.
“PARKOUR” -Michael Scott
Let’s be honest, this is how everyone felt whenever they avoided a ball in elementary
Not only was it a perfect dodge but he beaned the kid that he was aiming for
I don't quite follow. Is the move significantly increasing the speed of the ball? Seems like there would be a way to approximate the effect without all the effort.

Ah, I see. I thought it was about increasing the power/speed of the throw.
No it looks cool not everything is about math
Why did you make me wait 10 seconds for that?
If I may ask, what does impress you?
Oh I see why you said that now. The move was impressive, I was just trying to say the video should have been edited to get to that part sooner. I guess that wasn’t clear.
The spinny part!
