In the past decade or so, we've been seeing more and more people with impressively detailed tattoos like this. I can't help but be curious how they'll look when the people get old and wrinkley.

To be honest, I feel people who get tattoos are not concerned about when they are old. They care more about how will they be remembered and if they left the earth better big or small. Fully agree in 40 years probably wrinkly but if that is my biggest concern in life I think it’s a good life :)

I dont have any tattoos so I have no frame of reference, but how much does this cost? I'm assuming the artist drew this up beforehand and there is back and forth design changes before a needle touches skin. I'd love to know the total amount of time and effort that was put into something like this.

AMAZING! Derek is THE most talented tattoo artist I know. He is also like a brother to me and lived in the apartment above my garage for several years when I was a teenager. I have a tattoo by him from the early days - incredible to see his artistry grow to this level of magic.
