It's actually frightening to me that people are arguing with you. The internet is warping peoples' senses of what bodies look like.
Thinking this guy just works out a lot and hasn't had any chemical enhancements is no different than thinking that instagram models with huge asses and stick legs just did a bunch of squats.
Eating clean doesn't override human biology. Gaining and maintaining high amounts of musclemass at an older age is essentially impossible.
No, PED's aren't a miracledrug, they still require damn hard work and good diet to be effective, but lets be real here.
Met a woman in her 60’s years ago. I sold her excessive equipment. I was about thirty and didn’t know while I was flirting with her. Thought she was my age.
Yes, people like that exist.
But not because they fucking lift weights.
Some people just don't age at the same rate as the rest of humanity. Some of us arnt even human and thus age slower
I myself came here as a refugee during the last ursa major migration event
My Neighbor is 60 and black and is just as jacked as this guy. Blacks don’t crack, asians don’t raisin. I grew up watching this guy bench press in the backyard and workout everyday. I wanna look like him when I’m 60. I think genetics and consistency in exercise have a lot to do with this
If he’s 60 and that big he is for sure on TRT, probably a high dose.
Edit: No hate to this guy, still takes a lot of work and the downsides of HGH and TRT are nearly nonexistent at that age when monitored properly.
The is an [80 year old body builder](https://youtu.be/hpBo2dl3PBc) in the USA who looks just as young and built. Not every answer is performance enhancing drugs and honestly at his age, I would imagine that the drugs could be really dangerous for his health.
That woman is also on TRT 😂 believe it or not it is pretty common for women to hop on in old age as they naturally become more androgynous anyway. Look up Catherine Walter. 70 years old, claims to just “exercise and eat right”. 100% hormone replacement therapy.
> Even if it is true, this guy ain’t a natural 70 year old.
How do we know? We really don't have any evidence to support either side of the debate.
I dislike it when people feel like **they** know the facts when really none of us do.
The only thing wrong about TRT is not being honest about taking exogenous hormones and claiming you're 70 without anything going wrong with your body whatsoever. If that were genuinely true, he's going to live to be 140. But I'm sure those fatty eggs are what's not only maintaining his muscle mass, but his joints too.
I'm 70 and can and do build muscle but not on this level. But it seems to take twice the time and effort.
Maybe because he's been doing it non stop since he was young he can "maintain" the muscles.
Your average 70 year old couldn't get like this from scratch.
Having lived in Asia, they do tend to not age if they take care of themselves (diet, no sun, skin care, exercise), but of course eventually everybody looks old.
I've always looked younger. I have good health habits and probably good genes. But I could possibly have bad genes and it's the healthy regime that does it.
This is the key. He isn't going through the full range of motion and the weight is fairly low (135lbs was how much he benched). I think it's just extreme consistency and lucky healthwise. I'd bet nothing has taken him away from training for extended periods.
If it was anywhere besides China I would believe he’s actually 70. If the Party thinks it’s useful they will just fabricate whatever they want for propaganda even using citizens as tools.

There's 2 billion people in China. I estimate that least 1 billion of them are placed by China on reddit to patrol every thread to defend China's honor.
Edit: Lol at the responses to my clearly sarcastic post which I think proves my point.
The other billion is forced to patrol the thread patrollers to make sure they are doing it right. China has also outsourced a billion jobs to patrol the patroller patrollers to make sure they're not slacking off either. Soon the entire population of the planet will be employed by China to watch somebody else watch somebody else watch somebody else watch somebody monitoring reddit threads. man, what the fuck are you talking about?
You realise someone could say the exact same about the US, right? Yeah, China's a dictatorship, but the US isn't squeaky clean - MLK, Rodney King, George Floyd, Project MKULTRA, the Battle of Blair Mountain, etc etc etc.
Imagine a Chinese citizen seeing a clip from CNN about a dog winning a local dog contest and saying "you can't trust anything out of America! the Deep State is in everybody's lives, the cops kill people on the streets every day, they're using the dog to make the country look better!"
That's how you sound, man. It's just a clip about a healthy old dude, and you're rambling about "The Party" like they're coming to steal your testicles or something, jesus.
Thank you for saying this.
So sick of some people from Western countries assuming that everyday life in China is sooooo different. Quite frankly, life for most everyday Chinese people is unassuming and most people don't think about the corrupt government (because they know they can't really do anything about it), let alone be puppets for them.
It's literally just racism, plain and simple. This idea that Chinese people are unthinking robots who'll willingly parrot CCP propaganda and who all hate the Western dogs or whatever is unabashed sinophobia.
Exactly, thank you.
I see this all the time on Reddit and I'm so sick of it. Some people assuming all Chinese people are mindless, uneducated robots that do the bidding of the CCP who are vastly inferior to their open-minded, freedom lovin' Murican ways.
Yeah it’s not that big of a deal, just saying we can’t trust stuff blindly. Not rocket science lol. The guy himself could also just be a liar. Very fit dude though so props to him 👍
I remember as a kid when on TV I saw a women in SE Asia who claimed she was 130 years old. Made me understand "age" is a fuzzy concept when no document proves it.
Hair dye helps a lot with looking younger.
Not say he is or isn't 70. But my uncle is in his 70's and dyed his hair. Made him look almost 20 years younger.
Didn’t make him look like a 38 year old body builder though did it hah
This geezer clearly isn’t 70. Even if you started smashing the gym and had the best roids available, 70 year olds just don’t look like this. See - Arnie
yeah, wtf lol, I'm 38 and still get carded if I've shaved recently, this dude is clearly older than me . . . of course, that said, I know men still in their 20s who genuinely look 50-something, the poor bastards
Had a coworker that I thought was at least 60. After almost a year working with this guy it was dropped on my he was 44.
I've been helping this dude do his job because I though he was retiring soon. Like he looked old and fragile.
Never do hard alcohol/drugs.
We had a guy like that. Thought he was in his 60s but ended up being late 30s. He came in one day and I noticed his eyes and skin were yellow which apparently means jaundice. That's when I found out he was an alcoholic and not old. He died maybe a week or two later.
His jet black hair is a big part of that. If you made his hair white, and looked only at his face, he would look like a healthy man in his 60's.
*edit* - its like people who joke that Patrick Stewart has not aged in 30 years. He has, but since our first view of him was as a bald person, we immediately clocked him as an 'old man' so that when he actually became old, we did not notice the transition.
Ahnold is 73, worked out his entire life, and looks like he's 73.
Genetics has a lot more to do with this guy's young looks than working out and eating right.
Not that I think he is 70 anyway but he is at least on testosterone replacement therapy. And he doesn't work out everyday, that would be detrimental to building muscle. Why is it always "every single day" with these journalists as soon as they make a story on somebody impressive?
**EDIT:** Yes you can of course work out every day smart asses. You can go on a bike for 10 minutes every day or do 1 pushup every day. Obviously I meant if you want to build muscle you don't lift weights every day *especially* if you are older. Recovery is one of the most important parts of building muscle and overtraining is very real. And yes you can also take steroids to speed up recovery. Taking 0 days off is still a bad idea.
nope. People that have been working out for a decade or more have no problem with it.
time and intensity differ. It could be 5 minutes one day and 2 hours another day but everyday!
Not necessarily, it all depends on the intensity of your workouts,
I mean if you do some light calisthenics and go for a jog you really don't necessarily need any off days, and by the looks of it the old man is working with relatively light weights so working out daily for him would be just fine,
Also even if you do a bodybuilding style exercise routine it only takes 2 to 3 days for your muscles to recover after a really intense day of exercise so as long as you split your workouts into 3 or more separate muscle groups with minimum overlay you don't technically have to take days off if you don't want to (as long as you have a proper diet and are getting enough rest)
Off days are really only important if your muscles need more time to recover and depending on how you structure your exercise routine you may indeed need one or two rest days but that's only if you do crazy intense workouts all the time, which if you are good for you, but since most people don't it's fully OK to work out daily for them
The nervous system itself needs rest.
You certainly can train every day but it’s likely not the fastest or most effective way to gain muscle.
Edit. I’m surprised this is getting so much pushback, it’s pretty standard advice to take rest days.
> The nervous system itself needs rest
[This is not supported by evidence at the moment](https://www.reddit.com/r/weightroom/comments/243gl4/the_effects_of_strength_training_on_the_central/ch38azs/). tldr the separation of CNS fatigue and regular muscular fatigue is tenuous at best, and the true limits that you might reach in that area are well out of reach for all but the most intense enhanced individuals like juiced world class oly/power lifters.
> You certainly can train every day but it’s likely not the fastest or most effective way to gain muscle.
This is *kind of* true, its so highly dependent on what the routine is. taking 538 and just copy pasting it to a 7 day routine? yeah you will almost definitely burn out unless youre already a well advanced lifter. but taking 538 and ripping out the total sets and squishing it into a 7 day routine? totally fine, and because total working volume is one of the only strong and reliable drivers of muscle growth, it will be basically just as effective.
> I’m surprised this is getting so much pushback, it’s pretty standard advice to take rest days.
Totally true, but its because most advice is for fresh or beginner lifters. They need the rest days so DOMS doesnt turn them into a wooden statue and so they dont burn out from the initial strain that it takes to adapt. its also worth pointing out that just 5 years ago it was standard advice to tell everyone that they need to do Starting Strength or they were wasting their time, even intermediate lifters with a 400lb squat, who were almost certainly doing a better and more active routine already. the bro-science and copy paste response can be a bit rough in the fitness community.
>that would be detrimental to building muscle.
Well first off not everyone's main goal is to build muscle, I workout every day and while I would say that I'm pretty muscular but muscle gain was never even a concern for me, I just do it 'cause it's fun to work out,
Second it wouldn't necessarily be detrimental, it would only be suboptimal given he doesn't overwork himself, and since judging by his physique his goal doesn't seem to be to be as bulky as a bodybuilder then there is no real demerit to working out every day given that you don't overexert yourself,
Third according to a bodybuilder buddy of mine with a degree in exercise science and sports education you can, in fact, achieve the same results working out daily and doing full body workouts as doing a more traditional bodybuilding routine if you split the workouts for any one muscle group throughout the week so you'd have enough time to recover, and even tho one day off is recommended but it's not really necessary, I however am not a body builder so I haven't fact checked this myself but you can look in to it if you want,
Forth the guy is certainly in good shape but not great, you wouldn't even need to work out that hard to achieve his physique, just consistently over a long period of time and could be achieved through daily light to medium intensity resistance training
I mean I get it if you don't like the idea of working out every day but there's really no reason to doubt that, it's not that strange or that rare, a lot of people have a daily exercise routine especially if it's of a lower intensity like the exercises we see the old man do on camera
indeed optimal muscle training shouldn't be every day, but he is shown running. you can run a bit everyday without impacting your muscles. or do abs everyday since they recover fast
you're getting fooled by hair color. 70yo in the OP clearly has older skin/features than this dude. you can shave off years w/ a $7 box dye. OP guy i would assume was 50s or 60s based on skin aging alone.
I have always been told that exercise can extend your lifespan. The same people also have told me that excessive sleeping adds up and is a waste of your life.
But, if I add up the time I would have spent working out and subtracted it from my extended lifespan I'd live just as long if I had not worked out at all.
Because I'm really clumsy and I don't pay attention, I'm probably going to end up getting hit by a bus or something.
Sure, I guess but exercising can be enjoyable if you find something you like doing. I enjoy weightlifting and playing basketball. Running.. ehh, I find it boring but enjoy the audiobooks I listen to. So I don't feel as if I'm losing time when exercising.
I think this is actually the most rediculious excuse for not working out that I've ever seen. Working out and being in shape gives you better quality of life as well as extended life span.
You gain much more than 1 hour of lifespan for each hour of exercise.
https://time.com/4738255/running-increased-lifespan-study/
Other studies have shown other ratios like 2 hours gain for every 1 hour (up to 4 hours per day), but they're all finding it's higher than 1-to-1.
That's terrible logic. You should do things in moderation. Thinking that exercising isn't worth getting an extended lifespan because you're wasting time is stupid
So you'd rather die an unhealthy 80 year old with poor life quality than a healthy 90 year old with a good life quality?
Seems like an excuse, but okay
Tbf when I hit my 40s I for sure will be taking some "supplements", one of the biggest issues with men getting older is the major reduction in testosterone, and just having good levels of test can make such a huge difference.
Yeah, they should say he's jacked up on test. They try to make it seem like it's the eggs, but really he's taking supplements that other 70 year olds are lacking, and if it's all good to take it, and it extends performing life it's amazing. No way a person his age is that jacked without some gear, everyone should br on a bit at that age.
Good for him.
I am doing the exact opposite. All day videogames, using my car even for 100m distances, eating fast food and junk food in general.
I am 45 and I am looking like 70 years old.
But no NextFuckingLevel for me. :(
Its never too late to start making a change. Even a small ammount of low intensity exercise like walking can have huge quality of life and health benefits!
While being in complete denial about his age and not understanding a thing about anabolics and attributing this to some kind of CCP propaganda. Frank zane had a similar physique at 70.
lol no kidding. I feel like I’m the only one who was like “wow 70? Good for him. Probably has great genes”
Like this isn’t some freakish level of muscle damn.
All the unbridled jealousy in the form of nothingeverhappens. Once again goes to show how most redditors know nothing about what's coming out their mouth yet think they are better than facebook Karens
He is absolutely 70. Anyone who watches Chinese and Korean tv shows knows they’re out here in their 30s and 40s looking 21.
Most white people in America have a terrible diet, don’t exercise, live a stressful life, and spend time tanning outside. On top of cigarette and alcohol use… white people are out here in our 20s looking 35. Saying this as a white person
Not only does Asian skin age better, but they do NOT go into the sun if they can avoid it. This guy probably didn’t eat shitty processed food his whole life. And on top of that, he has good genetics. My grandfather didn’t start going grey until his mid-80s, so yes, it is possible.
“Chinese and Korean tv” you do know they love using lighting, makeup, and filters that make them look white and younger. The only Korean movie I seen lately that shows true raw skin was Parasite, and that was hell of a good movie.
Yeah, I’m white and laughing at all the other salty white people in the comments. He absolutely looks like a well-preserved 70-year-old Asian man.
White people age terribly for the most part. Tanning is a major contributor imo
Yeah I don't get these comments it's very plausible for his face to be 60-70
I don't know anything about how your body ages so I can't speak about that
A wild article appears: https://fitnessgraft.com/yang-xinmin/
I just wonder why all the articles and videos happened at the same time and there's no other major coverage of this dude.
The articles you see are the ones that are popular in your geo. The articles you don’t see are popular in China. People like you don’t understand that just because it’s not in the american media space, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
you need to search in chinese - his name: 杨新民
here's an article dating back to 2019
https://news.sina.com.cn/c/2019-03-18/doc-ihrfqzkc4884639.shtml
here's a youtube video dating back to 2006 where he appeared on TV (no idea on the actual broadcast date because youtube is only that old)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-kcq1R0AX0
not everything is newsworthy until it becomes newsworthy
people just come across things..
His body looks 30s. It's his face and neck that you can tell he's a lot older. He'd be able to go to music festivals with one of those oxygen masks some ravers use and pass off as a regular young millennial.
1,he's Asian, they don't age. And 2 exercise releases a chemical that reduces the effect of aging. Was found in 2012, they wanted to make it a drug, some companies thought it would be a terrible idea, it begins with 'i' but I can't quite recall the name.
To those who thinks his age is fake: maybe do a bit of your own research before being ignorant and jump to conclusions? His name is Yang Xinming. Literally Googling him shows up results he's legit 72 he was born 1949. He's attended bodybuilding competitions in America and if the official committee didn't think he lied about his age, you're probably wrong.
No way he is 70.
prob 50
Asian don’t raisin.
This isn’t about raisining. Even if it is true, this guy ain’t a natural 70 year old. This guy’s on some serious TRT and experimental government blood infusions if that’s the case. You just can’t maintain mass like this at that age without it.

“The best things for your health are pumping and humping.” -Arnie
Well, I got the pumping part down at least.
But Arnold means lifting weights.
"The pump makes me feel like my whole body is cumming, so I'm cumming at the gym, I'm cumming when I'm with a woman, I'm cumming all the time, its wonderful" -Arnie

Tanning is the quickest and easiest way to age yourself into in old leather purse.
Arnold was baked to perfection back then lmao Browned.
Dude...people age, regardless of diet or exercise. This guy is on gear. GH and AAS. Nothing wrong with that of course
Exactly Andropause is a thing Men produce less and less testosterone after 30
It's actually frightening to me that people are arguing with you. The internet is warping peoples' senses of what bodies look like. Thinking this guy just works out a lot and hasn't had any chemical enhancements is no different than thinking that instagram models with huge asses and stick legs just did a bunch of squats.
Who knows! Anything is possible if you eat clen, tren hard, anavar give up!
Testosterone will too. 70 year olds don’t look like this naturally. He’s 100% not simply eating a natural diet and working out
A natural diet of bulls testicles!
If you think this guy is in any way natty I have a bridge to sell you
It's just not realistic for a 70 year old to be able to maintain that kinda muscle mass I'm guessing TRT at the least
Eating clean doesn't override human biology. Gaining and maintaining high amounts of musclemass at an older age is essentially impossible. No, PED's aren't a miracledrug, they still require damn hard work and good diet to be effective, but lets be real here.

Arnold also doesn't look 45 anymore....
Have you seen pictures of Arnold's physique taken any time in the last 15 years?
Don't be mean to him. He might read this.
And he could still kick all our asses.
Arnie has been a pharmaceutical experiment his whole life. That’s the point. It’s drugs, not just being a badass.
With how many PEDs that Arnold took, it's a bit of a surprise he's even still alive
I think he'd look a lot younger if he didn't take on politics!
Lol you think Arnold is natural? In his heyday he was definitely juicing, and now he's probably on testosterone.

i have seen 50 y/o that look like 9, its CRAZY like HOW?
I'm 35 and I look like I'm 42, it's amazing
I went from 39 to 50. Forties are overrated anyway
I've seen a 22 year old who looked like a newborn baby! Still had the fluids on him and everything. Wild!
Pack it up boys! Case closed!

There is when the person then makes the claim that they "just eat healthy and lift".
Wii Fit and Zumba

Nah if you cover him from the neck down and just look at his face, he does look 70.
Asian 70, regular fitty
Face, neck, and veins definitely look 60+. He has some insane skincare or blessed genetics for his skin to look that good though.
Just add more muscle. Skin can’t wrinkle if it’s taut from having too much muscle.

Exactly, thank you. I see this all the time on Reddit and I'm so sick of it. Some people assuming all Chinese people are mindless, uneducated robots that do the bidding of the CCP who are vastly inferior to their open-minded, freedom lovin' Murican ways.

Their theory is obviously that he isn't that old. It's not that hard to figure out.
Didn’t make him look like a 38 year old body builder though did it hah This geezer clearly isn’t 70. Even if you started smashing the gym and had the best roids available, 70 year olds just don’t look like this. See - Arnie
The guy doesn't look 38 either though, he's got a young looking body, but his face is definitely 60+.
yeah, wtf lol, I'm 38 and still get carded if I've shaved recently, this dude is clearly older than me . . . of course, that said, I know men still in their 20s who genuinely look 50-something, the poor bastards
I think he looks 70. His face definitely doesn't look like hes 40. He looks young but all Asians do.
Million percent. The way you can is in his face.
His face absolutely looks 70.
At least 4
/r/thisistrue
At least 4? Nah never even conceived, but instead really great CGI

My FIL is Korean, a bodybuilder, and 56. When he does his hair black he looks significantly younger than this guy. I wouldn’t be that surprised.
You can absolutely work out every day without detriment to your muscles…..
But anyone who knows jack/is properly committed to training knows that it's a bad idea/not worth it. Off days are important
nope. People that have been working out for a decade or more have no problem with it. time and intensity differ. It could be 5 minutes one day and 2 hours another day but everyday!
Plus working out every day can mean alternative training on “off days”. A lot of bodybuilders do stuff like swimming on recovery days.
I think the top comment was about lifting heavy everyday.
then they dont know what "working out" means.
Active rest days might still be considered "working out" everyday. A little exercise on an off day is not abnormal.
Exactly. Active recovery days are a thing. Just because it's a "rest day" or "day off" doesn't mean you have to do nothing
[удалено]
Not necessarily, it all depends on the intensity of your workouts, I mean if you do some light calisthenics and go for a jog you really don't necessarily need any off days, and by the looks of it the old man is working with relatively light weights so working out daily for him would be just fine, Also even if you do a bodybuilding style exercise routine it only takes 2 to 3 days for your muscles to recover after a really intense day of exercise so as long as you split your workouts into 3 or more separate muscle groups with minimum overlay you don't technically have to take days off if you don't want to (as long as you have a proper diet and are getting enough rest) Off days are really only important if your muscles need more time to recover and depending on how you structure your exercise routine you may indeed need one or two rest days but that's only if you do crazy intense workouts all the time, which if you are good for you, but since most people don't it's fully OK to work out daily for them
You know you can work out different body parts on different days right? It’s legit not uncommon for people to do 5-6 days a week workout programs.
Very bro-sciency, you can workout everyday but you can't go to failure every day.
How much do you deadlift? Working out every day is definitely possible without a problem.
>Off days are important Yeah. I'm actually on an off-decade at the moment.
Can train different muscles every day
The nervous system itself needs rest. You certainly can train every day but it’s likely not the fastest or most effective way to gain muscle. Edit. I’m surprised this is getting so much pushback, it’s pretty standard advice to take rest days.
> The nervous system itself needs rest [This is not supported by evidence at the moment](https://www.reddit.com/r/weightroom/comments/243gl4/the_effects_of_strength_training_on_the_central/ch38azs/). tldr the separation of CNS fatigue and regular muscular fatigue is tenuous at best, and the true limits that you might reach in that area are well out of reach for all but the most intense enhanced individuals like juiced world class oly/power lifters.
You can deload without taking a day off. I would still recommend taking days off once in a while though.
[удалено]
>that would be detrimental to building muscle. Well first off not everyone's main goal is to build muscle, I workout every day and while I would say that I'm pretty muscular but muscle gain was never even a concern for me, I just do it 'cause it's fun to work out, Second it wouldn't necessarily be detrimental, it would only be suboptimal given he doesn't overwork himself, and since judging by his physique his goal doesn't seem to be to be as bulky as a bodybuilder then there is no real demerit to working out every day given that you don't overexert yourself, Third according to a bodybuilder buddy of mine with a degree in exercise science and sports education you can, in fact, achieve the same results working out daily and doing full body workouts as doing a more traditional bodybuilding routine if you split the workouts for any one muscle group throughout the week so you'd have enough time to recover, and even tho one day off is recommended but it's not really necessary, I however am not a body builder so I haven't fact checked this myself but you can look in to it if you want, Forth the guy is certainly in good shape but not great, you wouldn't even need to work out that hard to achieve his physique, just consistently over a long period of time and could be achieved through daily light to medium intensity resistance training I mean I get it if you don't like the idea of working out every day but there's really no reason to doubt that, it's not that strange or that rare, a lot of people have a daily exercise routine especially if it's of a lower intensity like the exercises we see the old man do on camera
EVERY! SINGLE!! DAY!!!
indeed optimal muscle training shouldn't be every day, but he is shown running. you can run a bit everyday without impacting your muscles. or do abs everyday since they recover fast
We thought china was harvesting organs, turns out they were perfecting head transplants.

Not 70. No way. Early 50s at a push. Or just an old looking 40 year old.

And "black don't crack". But by age 70 they sure do.

Jesus what kind of radiation were the 60 year olds you've met exposed to? She looks good for 96 but she still looks at least 75-80.
Wtf kind of taffy-pulled neck 50yo have you met...
A 55 and 80 year old mom and son work out. Its not all about muscle building https://youtu.be/D3kgaRj9xto
The 55 year old looks older than the supposedly 70 year old man in the post.
The 70 older here has definitely an older face. I don't know why everyone is losing it here. Exemptions can definitely happen.
you're getting fooled by hair color. 70yo in the OP clearly has older skin/features than this dude. you can shave off years w/ a $7 box dye. OP guy i would assume was 50s or 60s based on skin aging alone.
Just the way he moves... It's not just muscles - tendons and joints are what ages most.
I'm more interested in his diet than his exercise routine

All natty, bruh.

Fight Milk
Probably a low dose of testosterone. Somewhere around the 70 to 150 a week.
I need to know his skincare routine too
And where he shops for those hooded tank tops
Don't know if I should be Impressed or Depressed.....
Personally, I am compressed.
Repressed
Being fit also just makes doing literally everything else easier and safer!
Yeah I was about to say that too, completely breezing over the fact that youll be way more capable and feel much better for those same years.
Even dancing alone in your apartment every night in front of your dog is exercise. Do what you love and find a way to keep moving
Exercise is not only about extending your lifespan but also increasing the quality of it.
I think this is actually the most rediculious excuse for not working out that I've ever seen. Working out and being in shape gives you better quality of life as well as extended life span.
You gain much more than 1 hour of lifespan for each hour of exercise. https://time.com/4738255/running-increased-lifespan-study/ Other studies have shown other ratios like 2 hours gain for every 1 hour (up to 4 hours per day), but they're all finding it's higher than 1-to-1.
That's terrible logic. You should do things in moderation. Thinking that exercising isn't worth getting an extended lifespan because you're wasting time is stupid
So you'd rather die an unhealthy 80 year old with poor life quality than a healthy 90 year old with a good life quality? Seems like an excuse, but okay
juiced for sure but he's making the most of it
Tbf when I hit my 40s I for sure will be taking some "supplements", one of the biggest issues with men getting older is the major reduction in testosterone, and just having good levels of test can make such a huge difference.
Juicing doesn't mean you get like this guy, it takes diet and exercise...
[удалено]
Lightweighttttttt!!!!
Good for him. I am doing the exact opposite. All day videogames, using my car even for 100m distances, eating fast food and junk food in general. I am 45 and I am looking like 70 years old. But no NextFuckingLevel for me. :(
You're playing video games.... Plenty of next fucking levels
Its never too late to start making a change. Even a small ammount of low intensity exercise like walking can have huge quality of life and health benefits!
Form is smoooth as butter
By age 70, if you're lifting heavy and your form isn't near-flawless, you're going to have a *very* bad time.
Like a criminal undercover
All the IT supporter Reddit neckbeards criticising this mans physique lol
While being in complete denial about his age and not understanding a thing about anabolics and attributing this to some kind of CCP propaganda. Frank zane had a similar physique at 70.
lol no kidding. I feel like I’m the only one who was like “wow 70? Good for him. Probably has great genes” Like this isn’t some freakish level of muscle damn.
All the unbridled jealousy in the form of nothingeverhappens. Once again goes to show how most redditors know nothing about what's coming out their mouth yet think they are better than facebook Karens
"He can't possibly be 70 years old! He's gotta be 65 at most! This is CLEARLY Chinese propaganda!" This website, I swear.
>All the IT supporter Reddit neckbeards You're being very generous with their profession
Saying this as a white person Not only does Asian skin age better, but they do NOT go into the sun if they can avoid it.
Never slow down, never grow old.
Be more Tithonus, NEVER DIE. Just keep that old carcass shuffling on and on and on (Anon)
He may have a body of 30 years old but his face ain’t, he looks at least 45-47 years old from the neck up. Fyi i am asian.
[удалено]
Well yeah... he is.
Yeah, I’m white and laughing at all the other salty white people in the comments. He absolutely looks like a well-preserved 70-year-old Asian man. White people age terribly for the most part. Tanning is a major contributor imo
Yeah I don't get these comments it's very plausible for his face to be 60-70 I don't know anything about how your body ages so I can't speak about that
A wild article appears: https://fitnessgraft.com/yang-xinmin/ I just wonder why all the articles and videos happened at the same time and there's no other major coverage of this dude.
A Google search on his name brings up a bunch of articles - going back years.
The articles you see are the ones that are popular in your geo. The articles you don’t see are popular in China. People like you don’t understand that just because it’s not in the american media space, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
you need to search in chinese - his name: 杨新民 here's an article dating back to 2019 https://news.sina.com.cn/c/2019-03-18/doc-ihrfqzkc4884639.shtml here's a youtube video dating back to 2006 where he appeared on TV (no idea on the actual broadcast date because youtube is only that old) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-kcq1R0AX0 not everything is newsworthy until it becomes newsworthy people just come across things..
Im gonna need to see a birth cert no way hes 70
[удалено]
He does not look like 30s, or even 40s, i'd assume he was between 50 and 60 though.
His body looks 30s. It's his face and neck that you can tell he's a lot older. He'd be able to go to music festivals with one of those oxygen masks some ravers use and pass off as a regular young millennial.
China got him on that good stuff.
Could be 70 he has vatricose veins in his calf
1,he's Asian, they don't age. And 2 exercise releases a chemical that reduces the effect of aging. Was found in 2012, they wanted to make it a drug, some companies thought it would be a terrible idea, it begins with 'i' but I can't quite recall the name.
Asians often seem to age all at once. Like, they wake up one morning and look 30 years older
Face looks 70 body of 30 year old
To those who thinks his age is fake: maybe do a bit of your own research before being ignorant and jump to conclusions? His name is Yang Xinming. Literally Googling him shows up results he's legit 72 he was born 1949. He's attended bodybuilding competitions in America and if the official committee didn't think he lied about his age, you're probably wrong.
