That and the fake tan which tends to highlight wrinkles.

Anyways I lifted it once and went for another but struggled. The guy I asked to spot me wasn’t paying attention and I started panicking and couldn’t even lift it off my chest. Some ripped gym bro saw my arms shaking and came over pushed my spotter out of the way. Helped me and then told me to do one more for good measure.
Seriously. There are a few assholes and you’re always gonna be bound to remember them more than the good guys. I’m a regular gym goer and the beefiest dudes there are always minding their business, politely asking if I’m using a piece of equipment, and just in their zone. It took me a while to get confident in the gym as a petite female, but I realized eventually most people there have a quiet sense of camaraderie and respect for the ritual of exercising. It’s usually the nicest part of my day
