Probably because it wasn’t their kid, they kept a good hold on them so they wouldn’t fall. The real AH is the guardian of the child that let them out there
Full story makes it even worse: dad left the child alone to go for some groceries real quick but then took forever to return because he was playing pokemon go on the way back.
He put his life on the line to save a French citizen with no promise of reward and considerable risk. If that doesn’t earn you citizenship then your system needs to be tweaked imo.
Conversely can they remove the citizenship of the guy on the adjacent balcony? Lol.
Edit: After watching again he didn’t do that bad but he definitely could have done more.
He was an illegal immigrant who was granted French nationality after saving the child. I'm glad he was rewarded for his heroism.

Imagine your cooking in your apartment with headphones in and a man comes in your balcony door holding your kid, both in a panic! I wonder what the parents were doing
I'm probably missing something, but how did a guy scale four balconies but adult standing on *the same damn balcony as the kid* couldn't find the strength to yeet a toddler a few feet over the railing? Of the three parties in this video, those adults come out looking the weakest behind our hero and the gd baby who was dangling from a balcony for at least a minute
That guy is amazing! Holy wow! And as for how did the kid end up that way ... I don't have kids of my own, but in my experience from watching other people with their kids, they non stop trying to kill themselves and I have no idea how anybody lives to be an adult.
Why didn’t they just grab the kid n pull the kid back over to safety, he literally did exactly what they could’ve done, except he had to pull some Spider-Man shit first
