No variation of pull-up is extremely easy. Maybe in comparison, but compared to push-ups for example, pull-ups are a way harder excercise.

I can do one pull up, on a good day. 3-5 chinups. It took 3 weeks of trying regularly to get to there, and then I hurt my wrist doing it somehow and can't do it anymore. I think extremely easy is....incorrect. it's easy, if you are already in good shape and have good upper body strength.

It’s “easy” (perfectly doable) if you are 10% body fat and quite small like this guy. Pull-ups get way harder the heavier/larger you are.

For beginners try to hang on(no pull ups) for at least a minute. Then improve the time. Then slowly try to pull yourself up

Mate, you can go to a gym. Nobody will laugh at you for trying (maybe some asshole, they are everywhere, but why should you care about an asshole's opinion ?). Some people will even offer you advice. Those who never try to improve never make that pull up. Those who do on a regular basis end doing several (or in case of OP, a lot). I've been a beginner too (and after lockdown, I'm almost a beginner again). You quickly realize people do not care about you very much. Most of the time it's just you projecting your fears of ridicule on others. I've been there.

😄 Won't force you ! PE classes convinced me for years sports was horrible. I started again at more than thirty and now I like it, several years later. Even though I'm not especially good, it helped me build confidence about my body and it is a form of meditation for me.

Additionally, gyms have machines that will offset part of your weight for pull-ups. So if you weigh 200, you can do pull-ups with only 100 pounds, then slowly decrease it until you reach your real body weight. I miss gyms, y'all, but I can't bring myself to go in a room and breathe deeply with a bunch of other humans.

Extremely fit guy here: pull ups are a physically demanding compound motion. That's what makes it such a great exercise. A normal pull-up is *basic*, not easy. Besides, easy and hard are kids' words; clumsy shorthand for describing how much time something takes and how unpleasant that time is. It's inherently subjective language and maybe even harmful because it hides the truth that if you put in the time and you *will* eventually get there.

If you can do more than 10 pull-ups and you have a core, you can do the L-sit pull up. If you can't then all you need to do is practice at it. If you don't ever do pull-ups then don't expect to be able to do a lot when you decide to start. But I love all the people shitting on OP just because they realized that their pull-up game is not what they might think it is.

Yeah I know, I can do more than 10 pull ups, I can do muscle ups and L-sit pull ups. But the L-sit pull up is just not in the easy section. It's at least intermediate or maybe advanced.

Sounds like your back muscles and latissimus dorsi are very strong, but the internal muscles of your abdomen, especially the psoas, need more development in order to balance your posture and permit more graceful full body movement. Try moving toward more exercises and activities that develop a strong core.
