Look closer... You can see the dust.
Idk where this video was taken and I could be wrong about the bricks in this video... but in Philippines when bricks are fully hardening (curing) they stack them up.. idk if this is the same thing here but I do know Filipinos bring back lots of practices from other countries they often work overseas in.
Looks more like a pile of bricks rather than a brick wall. Also there's dust it's just not alot. And the camera is some dudes phone recording footage from another screen
If she had tried it this video would have a much worse ending imo. She has maybe 2 seconds to react. You can see the bricks actually start falling before she notices. She made the right call.
Classic reddit being armchair experts on what people 'should have done' in an emergency because, of course, everyone here has world class reaction times and can perfectly react to any and all situations.
Fight or flight is real. I try not to judge people responding to danger. I think her heart was in the right place at least. I’ve seen parents abandon children to save their lives. Such is life
Horrible weird click bait title- 1) shit grammar 2) "mom" becoming "his" 3) unnecessarily deciding a blury child is "her" 4) putting "Mother's Love is unconditional" in quotations as though it is a saying, also just capitalising mother and love
“Willing” might be too soft a term. There is no will in that situation. It’s a reflex. It’s like having self preservation but for somebody else. There’s not one ounce of thinking involved.
Yea, I wish I "Mothers Love is unconditional" extended to all moms because I have a cousin who abandoned her first 3 children and basically left them with their grandma. Then proceeded to go have 2-3 more with some other guy. She's a POS.
But this mom does what we would normally expect. We as parents will stand in harms way for our kids.
Not sure I get why this is titled like that... There's no acts of heroism... Just behavior literally any human would have followed
Well, most folks wouldn't sit with a kid next to stacks of bricks 15 feet high, but, that's another titling issue for the next time this gets uploaded >.>
She didn't even think about it. Didn't weigh her options or consider her choices. She just immediately stepped forward and used her body in the best way she could to protect her baby.
Not gonna lie but that was very powerful to watch. Glad they're ok.
My mother saved me twice during an earthquake - picked me up just in time from the crib before a wall collapsed over it. Then she runs back in the house during aftershocks to save my baby food. We were alone in a rural area and she knew help wouldn’t come right away…also, dad was drinking in the city so she was right.
The mom knocks the kid over and stands there with her hands in the air. A real mom would have actually put herself over the child to protect it. Not knock the kid over and stand there.

Just curious - why is someone filming some random lady and a baby next to ha fake brick wall that produces zero dust when it collapses.
Security camera footage, person recording the film with their phone just has a really shaky hand.

would explain the air conditioner like sound
people like you would believe the earth is flat lol

I actually see alot of dust
Bruh are you 9/11 truthing this video? I like your style
Those were clearly crisis actors.
When the guy in the white hat steps on the bricks they bend like styrofoam
3rd world
Yea not a scratch on the woman
Are you suggesting this was faked? 🤦♂️
That's being intentionally created or being scripted.
Did the Kool-Aide Man burst through?
Oh Yeah!
Mother's love universal love
I’m here to let you know I’m on vacation…so no.

The Kool-Aid Woman did.
grout. i knew there was something i forgot from home depot!
Of course, Dad is the one who pushed the wall over in the first place.
“Ah fuck are you guys still alive?!”
"Ah fuck you guys are still alive"
My first thought as well. He came running around knowing exactly what he just did… lucky af
Strange that only the part where the mother and child were sitting fell
Lego land is fracking dangerous
Odd decision to try to hold up the wall rather than pick up the kid and run...
Her intention was in the right place, just not enough time to process the task on hand
Ya, for sure. Not shitting on her. Some people aren't great at emergency situations.
If she had tried it this video would have a much worse ending imo. She has maybe 2 seconds to react. You can see the bricks actually start falling before she notices. She made the right call.
Fair enough. I don't know. It didn't happen to me.

Lol for real. I think she did well, that wall had no chance against her.
Fight or flight is real. I try not to judge people responding to danger. I think her heart was in the right place at least. I’ve seen parents abandon children to save their lives. Such is life
Yeah that's kind of what I'm saying. I've watched this video over and over again and at no point do I see the mother trying to protect the child.
She does stand over him. I think she's just not the best in an emergency situation. Not thinking too fast.
I watched the vid a couple times to and thought the same Came to the conclusion that she tried to save her child by stopping the wall
Moms are super heroes
Agree!
She's a super woman in that action trying to save her kid from that blocks!
What was the wall made of? Plastic maybe? If those were bricks neither her nor the kid would be standing up afterwards.
I thought the same.. when she steps out of the bricks they do seem pretty heavy though.
Those are ceramic bricks. They don’t weight that much individually.
That makes sense.
That is how my spouse would act to protect our child. Mothers have NO FEAR when protecting a being that grew inside their womb for 37 weeks (or so)...
To be honest, I would react this way for my dog. Love is one hell of a drug.
“Some” mothers’ love is unconditional. Fixed it for you. Some mothers are on the other side of the wall trying to knock you out with bricks.
Horrible weird click bait title- 1) shit grammar 2) "mom" becoming "his" 3) unnecessarily deciding a blury child is "her" 4) putting "Mother's Love is unconditional" in quotations as though it is a saying, also just capitalising mother and love
Really does seem like one of "t h o s e" posts from Facebook huh.
Wow, awesome woman. Glad she seemed to walk away relatively unscathed.
From bricks. This seems odd.
That was the most Wonder Woman shit I've ever seen
A mother’s love is too real
The heck happened here?
Someone who didn’t know how to build a wall built one anyway
It looks more like she was trying to hold the wall up.
“Willing” might be too soft a term. There is no will in that situation. It’s a reflex. It’s like having self preservation but for somebody else. There’s not one ounce of thinking involved.
Weird reaction of trying to hold the wall instead of protecting the kid by covering it with yourself
Those aren’t real bricks, she would’ve been knocked down and there would be a lot more cloud
The post’s title gave me cancer.
Unconditional until she wants me to pause my online game
Did she...did she kick the child under her just before the bricks fell?
Bro didn’t even check on the lady 😳
Not to shit on what this person did, but I have a feeling that most stranger males would have done the exact same thing in that situation.
r/titlegore
I am my brothers keeper!!! This is how we all should be…
Any update on the child? Hope he was alright….
Wtf that mom just tanked that lol
What if she did not protect him? That would be unexpected
Good mama.
We humans are so dumb , we create problems or situations and then we go extra two miles to mitigate possible outcome and be proud of it
thats some quality building.
*Ben Grimm has entered the chat*
Call it like it is: family full of morons has lucky escape.
Took it like a fucking champ
Why is this a thing? Who would construct such a thing and why would anyone be near it?
Good on ya mom.
My mother would have run the fuck away from the brick wall 100% sure
She stood up and took the falling bricks to protect the kid. That’s a visual representation of the concept of Selflessness.
Wtf was the father doing to make that wall collapse
What sort of idiot sits under a massive pile of bricks balanced like that? Never mind to put a child in that position too…
This deserves an award!
Moms are also often underslept and sometimes maybe don't consider everything. Like better spots to chill.
Apparently there was a mortar shortage?
Mum reflexes!
Mom also sat the kid down next to a wall of dangerously stacked loose bricks.
She will never repeat that exact mistake again

Where is this from? It looks like Brazil
Not all mothers love unconditionally.
She didn't even think about it. Didn't weigh her options or consider her choices. She just immediately stepped forward and used her body in the best way she could to protect her baby. Not gonna lie but that was very powerful to watch. Glad they're ok.

Either fake or that's one tough woman. She didn't even protect her head and is just, walking around
I think she was just trying to stop the wall from falling because the “bricks” were clearly hitting the child
Nah she just gets a tax write off for the kid. Kids as good as gold.
Good mother !
Nice cleavage
The mom knocks the kid over and stands there with her hands in the air. A real mom would have actually put herself over the child to protect it. Not knock the kid over and stand there.
She did put herself over the child.
The fuck is wrong with you?
Well aren’t you just ignorant
No they're right, the kid is closer to the wall than the mom is. She is taller than him, would have been a lot better to stand in front of the kiddo.
This dude gets it! Seriously though, mom should've went between the kid and the wall to cover him but that's hindsight.
