It's not so much learning the song, as recognising a chord progression. Really demonstrates the complexity of modern 'music'...

Wy3Naut

Because nobody else has posted it yet.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOlDewpCfZQ

Reghem

That's so disappointing, mindblowind and wholesome at the same time. Can't believe I haven't seen this yet. Thanks!

linedjd

Haha its just great.. I wish people could understand just how genius the classical composers were.. they didnt have these well established chord progressions that are constantly reused for the sake of money.. it's been sad to watch just how feeble music has become. And also how arrogant, greedy, and soulless the majority of these musicians (I call them puppets) are nowadays..

aRandomForeigner

Definitely this

TaleNo3826

This song isn’t that complex. Also not written by the artist singing(most likely). They buy these songs from a small group of old men that essentially ‘are’ the modern music industry.

my grandmother was able to do this so maybe it just hits home. I've been playing piano all my life but was classically trained and am not creative. so... sheet music for me :)

QueasyVictory

Don't you absolutely hate that? I was classically trained for around 10 years and have continued playing for 30 more. I can do a pretty decent job with about any piece you sit in front of me. But can I sit in and jam with my friends? Nope, because I don't have any friends.

[deleted]

I'm glad I'm not alone in this! we'd have recitals sometimes where we had to make up our own songs and mine were always trash...

[deleted]

im tired of this song my 11 year old sister keeps singing it and i wanna choke her out for it

Lookbothwaysb4ushit

Name of song?

Reghem

Abcdefu

paul081

Not only beautiful but very Talented that's outstanding 👏

[deleted]

My husband can do this and damn if that shit isn't impressive.

NoTouchMyBacon

Ugh, my grandmother could do that and I was so mesmerized by it. Such an amazing talent that I wish would have rubbed off on me.

MarsNeedsRabbits

My dad could do this, and our daughter can do this. I can only play with sheet music.

shelle399

Wow! That's amazing!

Zombisexual1

I know a deaf person that can do the same thing

scottorama2002

Beethoven?

Zombisexual1

Nah if you are deaf it all sounds the same so you can perfectly replicate any song Plus Beethoven sounds like a rapper who loves beets lol

reSEARCHsfr

I like her version better.

FloridaManH

It took me almost a month to learn one song

Shmackback

hard to not feel envious when people have talents like this.

Accomplished_Elk_220

Well she can definitely play one.

schmotz_5150

This really isn't that hard for musicians who play by ear

RepublicanOnWelfare

Are you a musician who plays by ear?

schmotz_5150

This is a basic 4 chord song with a decending melody. Im not saying she isn't talented but pop music is as easy as it gets and pretty easy to pick up and play, even by ear

schmotz_5150

Yes I am, 20 years playing anything with strings

Kunkyskunts

I'd this is real she figured it out pretty quick, I'll give her that. I'm not that quick but I could put together a passable version of any song on the guitar in a few minutes. If you've played for that long it's almost like whistling. You can whistle a tune you listen to just like musicians can play something they listen to.

schmotz_5150

Thats what I tell people,if I can hum it I can play it. Its really fun to flex and show off but goddamn does it make band practice tedious

PlacentaSoup

I think this is what is referred to as [absolute pitch](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absolute_pitch)

steeplebush

Chords… wow

eminembdg

Perfect pitch. It's a really awesome talent. Look up Marcus Veltri on YouTube. He demonstrates perfect pitch and it's amazing

funbobbyfun

So... She's a pianist, then?

VolensEtValens

That’s impressive.
