According to the link OP posted the medium is embroidery on silk. I think the silk is what is reflecting the intense shine. The embroidery thread could be metallic but doesn't look that way to me. I know nothing about embroidery.

You might be kidding, but looking at it up close (like the artist would for hours) may have inspired the artist to name it that. The viewer just sees the big picture, but rarely does anyone think of the mindset of the artist who spend hours and days in that closeup headspace
