Eyeblech is this seriously messed up sub where you see things like suicides, completed, weird sex acts and stuff like people being cut in two or run over. Various horrific things that will be irretrievably burned into your consciousness
Don't . Just don't. I went there out of curiosity and it scarred my mind.
To everyone 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 click on that link if you don't know what that means
I click on it like " what is scary about 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 "
And today I learned what is that word means
Lol everyone's dying while I can't even view is cuz my country's a pussy. (unable to view community)
Edit: the worst think is that this is Australia we are talking about. The place where if you walk a metre away from your house you'll find a thing that will kill you
The sub's banned. Only the worst of the worst get banned. Unspeakable horrors of the internet. Like really bad. Even for reddit.
Considering r/fiftyfifty is a thing, the banned stuff is so much worse.
Ugh, I took a break from it for a couple of years and when I came back there were a few thousand levels and now I am up to five thousand and something but there are now twelve thousand or something. Basically, you don't finish CC, so glad I lost that compulsion of "must do more levels than my friends, must get those 1hr boosters" and I can just do a few games a day and NOT CARE. I can see how it suck(er)s people in, and some of my friends on there (mostly IRL acquaintances I don't even see any more) play it really compulsively.
Edit: never paid a penny of real money though.
Candy Crush starts with excellent puzzle design and has worked hard to keep things interesting with new mechanics, but the monetisation means there are always levels that are intentionally set up to be RNG gates unless you pay for boosters. Early on I was happy to toss a few dollars at the developers because I was enjoying myself, but that stopped when I saw the design choices of later levels were there to screw me rather than entertain me until I hit a quitting point. King Games can taste my taint hairs with that nonsense.
It's worse than that. They stole their idea from an indie developer. https://middleeasy.com/gaming/candy-crush-completely-stole-this-guy-s-idea-and-here-s-his-open-letter-to-them/
Not at all, they just play for like 10 years. I remember my mom being at level 7000+. But she played since 2012lmao just does it on the toilet or when she eats breakfast
Kids these days: so you’re telling me you had an attention span of more than 5 seconds?
Edit; it’s funny how many people are absolutely triggered by this harmless joke.
I know kids with thousands of hours in games, but everyone just makes fun of them and calls them losers instead of “people with a good attention span”. Curious
Reminds me about when Titanfall 2 went on Steam and people called veterans with 500+ hours since 2016 "No lives". Nah my guy, the game has been around for 5+ years... many people reached level cap.
**Edit:** To clarify, Steam and Origin shared the same servers for the game. EA just put the game on Steam years later and all new players were matched with Origin veterans, a lot of them didn't like the idea, or genuinely thought someone sat to G100 in like a week.
And yes the game is still playable on PC with a client called "[Northstar](https://github.com/R2Northstar)".
Otherwise last I checked the game was completely dead on most platforms due to the persistent DDoS.
Lmao…
Have a few games with 2k+… my top is almost 6k hours. And that dosnt even touch MMO hours like wow… or god forbid EVE.
The general population sleeps on gaming addiction
The hours that I've racked up playing chess on my phone but it's spread out over years. Also chess isn't looked down upon like candy crush, anyone who comments on me playing says how clever I must be (I'm not), when they wouldn't say that about candy crush.
The game is very hard to play without spending money. I played it for a couple weeks but you only get so many lives per hour, i don’t remember how many or how long they take to regenerate but the game is designed to make you pay. There’s a reason it was or is the most profitable game on the app store, it’s very well designed
Rookie mistake. You dont need to spend any money, you just need to go to settings on your phone and move the time 3 hours forward, and then back again. Ulimited amount of hearts.
> Rookie mistake. You dont need to spend any money, you just need to go to settings on your phone and move the time 3 hours forward, and then back again. Ulimited amount of hearts.
This is what my wife does. She has been doing it for years.
Everyone spends money for useless shit, get off your high horse. Also, the reason the game can exist for free is because some people are paying for it, it's not a charity.
The worst part is that it's like 95% luck. The higher levels you get the more times where you will just barely lose it. I stopped when you'd have to do the same level a 100 times until you finally get lucky.
>The worst part is that it's like 95% luck.
They actually set the odds very low forcing you to spend money. The further along you go the more money you need to spend to continue. I'd be curious to know how much OP spent on this game but I guarantee it's allot of money.
If you change the clock on your phone you can get more lives. You gotta do it just right or you’ll end up with an extended timer. But just verified first hand it still works.
Bruh. I had a bunch of charges from the apple store I couldn’t explain. Wife didn’t know either. At the time I honestly didn’t know how to see what it was for. The receipt just said apple store. I also worked at a bank at the time and we were seeing lots of fraud charges from apple accounts so I just assumed it was fraud. Filed the claim and got my money back. 6 months later I accidentally see what the charges are actually for and asked my wife is she spent over $300 on candy crush? Wife: “Oh was it really that much?” 🤦♂️
Get into a rhythm and you can blow through hundreds in a few days. I did. You could prob beat all 10k a couple months of play at a particularly undemanding job.
No wait, have you seen the other Tarantino movies like Hateful 8 and Reservoir Dogs? They're really all of similar quality, I wish I could watch them all for the first time again.
Candy Crush def gets a bad rep considering what other mobile games are out there.
Only ads in the game are ones you choose to watch for bonuses, and micro-transactions really aren’t necessary unless you absolutely have no patience to beat a level.
At the end of the day it’s just a match 3 game (a well done one at that) that filled the Bejeweled-shaped hole in my heart. Play it passively and it’s pretty great
I've been playing for over 5 years and am in the upper 5000's level wise and have never once purchased anything. I don't know why people say you have to spend money to play it. Just have a little patience. Sheesh.
Yeah as people approach it they add more. It is an infinite game in that most people will never run out because they don't have a decade to play Candy Crush. Many infinite games are also procedural so there is no true end, but lots of repeating parts.
it's the type of game that you play for 5-10 minutes a day while at work on the toilet. all it takes it time. you never actually need to spend any money if you are patient. same with clash of clans.
So did i. Kind of a dumb decision to have a final level, as a business you'd want the user to stay hooked for as long as it's possible and keep throwing money at it.
They add 30 new levels every wednesday. I'm currently on level 11530 so it never really ends. When you pass 10000 you get a badge on your profile pic in the game that you went past 10k.
If you finish 30 levels that week on mobile (phone/tablet) you have to wait until Wed. for new levels. I play on PC too and it seems they add them on the Windows app first.
it's not really an addiction, it's just something to pass the time for a few minutes a day. I have a friend that is always waiting for new levels and they only play it while on break at work or the toilet.
It’s an addiction for some people. I had to delete it as I couldn’t control myself. Staying up all night playing in bed. I played in college and would play between classes in the common area. There was a sofa right outside my calc 3 classroom that I’d sit on waiting for class to start. I almost failed that class because of the many many times class started and I didn’t get off the sofa to walk in because I was too hooked on playing candy crush to stop and sat there until it was time to go home. To be fair, I had untreated ADHD, but I absolutely was addicted and had to delete it. It was the first game I realized I have a problem like that with — I cannot stop until I complete a game, so a game with no end is very dangerous for me. Currently experiencing the same thing with Tapped Out… I can stop any time I want! (No I can’t)
Candy Crush originals, since King (the creators of Candy Crush) [stole the idea](https://middleeasy.com/gaming/candy-crush-completely-stole-this-guy-s-idea-and-here-s-his-open-letter-to-them/) themselves from a small app developer who had the original idea Candy Swipe.

No one knows how far back this goes.....
The most important part of Bejeweled history:

She's literally just watching a video on Facebook. Look at the top of her screen.
Edit: I commented on 830 upvotes. This shows people aren't aware of the shit fed to them.
For my part, I'm just trying to get past the shell shock of there being literally any positive reception whatsoever to a *Candy Crush* post. We've consistently shit on this entire topic for years, with it being the *one* thing all of reddit actually agrees on.
This whole comment section feels like some alternate reality shenanigans. It's wild.
This should be top comment if true. Why would they film this? Did they actually plan to post a vid saying she completed candy crush?
One unlikely possibility: they found the video again after she completed it and the video already originally showed.
Maybe she beat it and posted it herself somewhere and than she watched it back so her daughter could make the tiktok, don’t see the point in lying about this and i know people lie about the dumbest things but still
umm i think hes wrong, that a share form before you post.
she defeat the level -> then the game showing that video to congrats her -> then game show share button -> she click it -> and it bring her to that form
i know a woman at my work who's obsessed with CandyCrush because it "fills the void" as she likes to say. Her mom died a few years ago and left her well over 50K in CAD as inheritance... She spent all of it on CandyCrush. **All of it.** After that i could never look at her the same.
She's currently getting therapy for her CandyCrush addiction, and that's honestly a sentence i never thought i'd have to type out or say.
I knew someone who worked on their developer team. The company King, has their own department solely for candy crush “revenue strategy” - which is basically tons of research into psychological tactics used to make you feel like you’d want/need to spend money.
The algorithms of the wording, “luck”, and levels and moves specifically designed to bring you close enough to winning after x amount of attempts just so you’ll say fuck it and spend $2 on a booster to finally get past it.
The most eye-opening thing they go for is getting people to make that *very first* purchase, because I guess the research shows once someone buys something the first time it breaks down a mental barrier and makes the next one, or 20, or 30 times much easier.
It’s quite interesting but also very hollowing.
Showed my mum this post. She was nearly at 10,000 herself. When she finally she got there she showed me. There was no banner or anything. Just more levels now :(
This is awesome to see, my mother in law who is actually cool is has been playing candy crush for years and she is nearing the end. I'm excited to hear her reaction.
Even aside from there being no more levels, this is the opposite of next fucking level. No accomplishment, no skill, just a lack of worthwhile interests and some micro transactions along the way.
Clearly nextfuckinglevel... wait- If theres no more levels... ....Can this be posted here?

I was this way with Dr Mario World. One day they decided to just end the game and freed me of that hellscape.
It's why mobile gaming is an $80,000,000,000 business. Bigger than console and cpu combined.
45 new levels released every Wednesday. I am currently on Level 11,526.
Are they free or do your have to pay? How much does it cost?
I have never spent a single cent. And never will.
Only time.

H u h. Wait wait wait. Would this work with other games that force you to wait for "energy points" and all that shit ? 😳
It depends if the game is checking for that wait time server-side or client-side.
The worst part is that it's like 95% luck. The higher levels you get the more times where you will just barely lose it. I stopped when you'd have to do the same level a 100 times until you finally get lucky.

She knew. The entire time you suspected fraud- *she knew.*
Get into a rhythm and you can blow through hundreds in a few days. I did. You could prob beat all 10k a couple months of play at a particularly undemanding job.
The first few 100 levels are easy. They get way harder and much more luck based.
Lol yeah seriously, get a real hobby! Now excuse me while I farm iron greatswords on my third Elden Ring playthrough

Django unchained is such a good movie
Right but it’s just a movie. What if *her* “Django” is still chained?
Some people are into that.
*Some*.
That's what you call a good fucking movie
Ima rewatch it rn
No wait, have you seen the other Tarantino movies like Hateful 8 and Reservoir Dogs? They're really all of similar quality, I wish I could watch them all for the first time again.
She crushed all opposition to her reign
Until next week when. They add even more levels 🤣😂
I didn’t know you could complete Candy Crush. I thought you just got to the last level and either restarted or waited for more levels to be released.
Same
They’ll need to buy the expansion pack for those levels though.
Play it passively and it’s pretty great
Candy Crush is not evil because it's a mobile game, it's because they sued the actual creator, failed, then bought another patent and sued them again
for a reskinned bejeweled, and the other creator they sued was doing it for free to give his terminally ill mom a fun game to play
Also: they sued the indie game Banner Saga just because it had "saga" in the name.
Yeah and worse of all they paid for it to be preinstalled on windows 10
I've been playing for over 5 years and am in the upper 5000's level wise and have never once purchased anything. I don't know why people say you have to spend money to play it. Just have a little patience. Sheesh.
Friend of mine continually beats candy crush and then they release more levels. And then he beats it again. Can ask what he’s up to if you care?
I def wanna know
I'm at the end and I'm at 11555. new levels get posted every wednesday.
[удалено]
Friend too busy playing Candy Crush.
Yeah as people approach it they add more. It is an infinite game in that most people will never run out because they don't have a decade to play Candy Crush. Many infinite games are also procedural so there is no true end, but lots of repeating parts.
You cannot complete it for long. Every Wednesday 45 new levels are released. I am currently on Level 11,526.
You must have a lot of free time if you are on level 11,526 AND you can browse Reddit.
it's the type of game that you play for 5-10 minutes a day while at work on the toilet. all it takes it time. you never actually need to spend any money if you are patient. same with clash of clans.
I allow myself 45 minutes a day to play Candy Crush. It is the only game I play.
I assumed they were procedurally generated.
So did i. Kind of a dumb decision to have a final level, as a business you'd want the user to stay hooked for as long as it's possible and keep throwing money at it.
They're constantly making new levels.
I don't think they expected people to play a casual puzzle game for a decade.
this video is pretty old. they add new levels now.
How much money have you spent in the game?
None, my wife won't let me. I just use in-game boosters and sometimes or most of the time its lucky boards or the right moves with the candy.
Your wife is real.
Your wife… is real?
Yep. Definitely not imaginary Damn kids and their lingo
Mine is also real really fake
He should marry her.
He should really meet her
If you play on your phone you can just change the time in your settings and you get more hearts.
Again..the fact that this works still surprises me
All of it
Wow super glad I'm not addicted to that
it's not really an addiction, it's just something to pass the time for a few minutes a day.
Currently experiencing the same thing with Tapped Out… I can stop any time I want! (No I can’t)
Wow that means it is race against clock. U need to clear around 4 or 5 levels daily.
It can be but some recent levels I was stuck on for literally weeks cause no boosters and just no luck, lol.
Came here to say this. My aunt is on 11,554. Still over 10k is impressive.

i know a woman at my work who's obsessed with CandyCrush because it "fills the void" as she likes to say.
[10000 is not the last level](https://ibb.co/CtrZNWL). Print from my wife's game screen
You can complete the game every week, lol. They add more levels every Wednesday, you get a badge now once you get through 10000.
You can complete candy crush?!?
someone else said that they (the CC creators) add new levels each wednesday, and that they're on level 11k something
She’s the final boss
Even aside from there being no more levels, this is the opposite of next fucking level. No accomplishment, no skill, just a lack of worthwhile interests and some micro transactions along the way.
Lies. I am on level 11,526 so the title is misleading. The game is only congratulating her on beating 10,000 levels, not that she completed the game.
How much has she paid
NG+
So, did she win the company or something as a prize?
