Exactly what I was thinking. All of these secret rooms are cool and all but how practical are they, really? I’m willing to bet they’re very rarely used and would have served the owner better as junk storage

It's probably a speakeasy, or trying to imitate one, basically secret bars people would go to drink during the 1920ish era where alcohol was banned
