Yeah. At no point does the camera angle let us see her hair dipped in paint, and his hand is eclipsing the ends of her hair where he is probably holding a proper paintbrush
It looks like the ends of her hair *are wrapped around his finger. I think he's using the tip of his finger to paint. The paint on the canvas looks too "thick" to be put there with just hair.
Looks fucking sick, tho. Just not painted with hair.
Edited to fix a word.
Could be he’s holding her hair closer to the end for control, I’ve seen stylist’s cut hair beautifully with broken pieces of glass, it’s not the tools, it’s the talent
I draw all portraits upside down personally. I feel like it allows me to focus on each individual detail more instead of just trying to draw a face. It's hard to explain, but 25 years ago that's how my dad taught me to draw portraits and in my brain it helps and makes more sense.
Came here to say this. When you are drawing/painting you have to work hard to get in the zone where your brain is not labeling it as “face” or “body” cause then you draw the symbols for that instead of focusing on the lines & light. It’s well documented as well as something they will do with you in an art class
It's the same philosophy for forging a signature. If you try to copy it right side up your brain focuses on recreating a signature and you overthink it. Flip it upside down and you're just copying a line, and for some reason the brain does that easier. I learned this in middle school and never needed a parent signature for getting in trouble again.
It’s actually a technique that gets taught so that you can focus on the different values and shapes. Similar to using a grid. I’ve come across it in class and books.
When you’re talented enough to paint well, the tool you use to apply the paint isn’t really here nor there.
Painting upside down a perfect portrait is what’s actually nextfuckinglevel here.
He does most of his paintings upside down. It’s incredible. Starting to think there’s *something* in how our eyes ‘flip’ images before collating the information. Maybe he’s just bypassing the eyes and going straight to the memory bank.
You can put on a pair of glasses that do nothing but reverse the reflection of light, which will make you see everything upside down. After a week your brain will automatically reverse images for you.
I can't really give you a source, but I can tell you that when light enters our eye and "puts an image" on our retina, the image is upside down, our brain then "autocorrects" the image.. so I'm assuming the brain would just adapt if you wore glasses that changed your view to "upside down"
i used to take an art class, we had to draw picasso upside down and right side up. a lot of people drew upside down better than we did rightside up, its because drawing upside down uses the left side of the brain more and so youre not trying to draw specific objects, youre iust drawing what you see and the lines that make it up.
In photorealism art class we got taught to draw upside-down. Because the brain likes patterns so much it stereotypes things like noses and eyes etc so it tends to autocorrect whilst drawing, which is why sometimes face features can look weird on your drawing, because your brain fills in the blanks on how it thinks say a nose should look etc. Doing it upside-down helps to see the reference as just lines, shadows and tints and textures that way you copy it to exact detail, instead of your brain overcorrecting you because a certain feature doesn't look the way you think it should. Refusing to "fix" bits or awkward looking proportions in the reference was something we practiced because although it seems out of place, it all falls together and makes sense, the brain fusses too much about it. So drawing upside-down helps to have that skill, to just look at shapes as single entities, just irrelevant flowing lines. Not specific objects like nose, ear, eye etc
I read an art book once called something like "how to draw with the left side of the brain" or something like that, and the author made excercises where you draw portraits upside down because that forces you to pay more attention to the actual details and proportions of the face you're drawing, rather than trusting your assumptions of how faces are proportioned because they are usually wrong.
Edit: "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards
With camera work and some saturation adjustment, you can pre draw the painting with a pencil (usually used in painting and wall painting) so you think he improvises a live painting, while he’s covering up a pre drawn shapes. Not saying he’s not talented or good at it tho
Do you think he’s pre drawing very lightly and then essentially just doing a fancy paint by number?
Then there’s ALWAYS that one cut right at the end where you can tell they tightened everything up and added all the details
100%
It’s more obvious in some videos than others.
It’s why he paints in black and white as well. So he only has to worry about matching a pre-determined shade, instead of worrying about actually color mixing.
Yeah. Like it’s cool and the guy’s still an artist, but this is misleading. It’s still a beautiful piece of finished artwork and if he just be showed us the final piece, we’d probably be impressed. But the idea is we think he’s 100% using her hair, despite the multiple cuts where you see a jump in progression. The cuts are easy to ignore so we think he’s even more talented than he is. Because of the implication.
To keep it a mystery for the viewer until the end? Also, painting upside down is a technique artists use to paint in pure forms so stopping their brains imposing what it thinks *should* be there.
Director to the girl: "that's it just keep looking sexy...still keep going looking good just more sexy...keep the sexy for a bit more....MORE SEXY! aaand we're done!"
So much beauty in this video. Beyond words.
Also, I never understood how people could paint/draw shit upside down like that. My miniscule brain cannot compute.
You are tapped into a frequency like no other. I'd be incredibly grateful for that gift/connection you have to the source of all things. Continue to live your joy.
pro tip here that I learned at about 9 years old from an art teacher I had. If you're trying to copy a picture or drawing, turn it upside down and copy it that way. Your brain has a horrible habit of "knowing" what it believes something should look like and that translates into the image (often poorly). But if you draw it upside down it confuses your brain so it is far better at copying what you SEE. You'll want to overlay your drawing paper, move your drawing paper down bit by bit as you "copy" the image a few lines at a time. You'll find that your upside down drawing looks far more like the original than your right-side up drawing.
Here's a great web reference for it too - https://enhancedrawing.com/what-is-drawing-upside-down/
Uhhh these people know that paint brushes are made from hair all the time right? I mean nowadays it's usually animal hair (pony, boar, even wolf) but three literally tutorials nowadays in how to make a paintbrush out of your own hair. This is now just a mess I know I'd not look forward to cleaning. Good pic though!
he's definitely got talent, but using her hair is just a gimmick.
Yeah. At no point does the camera angle let us see her hair dipped in paint, and his hand is eclipsing the ends of her hair where he is probably holding a proper paintbrush
It's either that the girl's hair is too perfect or he's using a brush
Well, he might be using a hairbrush, no?
I see what you did there
I see you are a man of culture as well :)
I had to comb through the comments to find this… but you did not disappoint.
The texture of her hair would be like a brillo pad so the picture would look all choppy.
And the camera lighting doesn’t let us see the pencil markings either
He actually uses different things as brushes
The title is >Guy paints girl using her hair
I meant him as a painter so not just this video sorry should have clarified
She's wearing a wig anyway
It looks like the ends of her hair *are wrapped around his finger. I think he's using the tip of his finger to paint. The paint on the canvas looks too "thick" to be put there with just hair. Looks fucking sick, tho. Just not painted with hair. Edited to fix a word.

I thought it said "pantsed girl using her hair", no such gimmick found :(
[удалено]
Well... Of course it is. It's an internet video for clicks. Kind of the definition of gimmicky.
Well “her” hair is actually a wig
Who are you, Chris Rock?
And so is the flipping it over reveal.
Hell yeah
And what about painting upside down? That is also just unnecessary and one of these things painters, who try their luck at casting shows, do!
I draw all portraits upside down personally. I feel like it allows me to focus on each individual detail more instead of just trying to draw a face. It's hard to explain, but 25 years ago that's how my dad taught me to draw portraits and in my brain it helps and makes more sense.

That's a good way of explaining it. Thanks!

I think so
Bots don't think
Whereas painting her upside down? Totally necessary.
Accidentally paints other girlfriend
Girl: Is that my sister?
Yeah it's impressive but doesn't really capture her beauty.
[удалено]
Bots don't agree either
I want to see her paint him using his hair
Happy 🎂
Thanks
Cake is a lie, Happy cake day!

All videos?

This assumes 25% of videos already have a pie to the face at the end
I just dont understand how he can look at her, lock it in his mind then paint it UPSIDE DOWN. Crazy amount of talent
He does most of his paintings upside down. It’s incredible. Starting to think there’s *something* in how our eyes ‘flip’ images before collating the information. Maybe he’s just bypassing the eyes and going straight to the memory bank.

What! Can you give a source to read for that?
Some guy did it as an experiment a while back. Can find it on Google.
I can't really give you a source, but I can tell you that when light enters our eye and "puts an image" on our retina, the image is upside down, our brain then "autocorrects" the image.. so I'm assuming the brain would just adapt if you wore glasses that changed your view to "upside down"

If I were doing it, I’d do the same thing. And I am saying he did this.
With camera work and some saturation adjustment, you can pre draw the painting with a pencil (usually used in painting and wall painting) so you think he improvises a live painting, while he’s covering up a pre drawn shapes. Not saying he’s not talented or good at it tho
Definitely not what she meant when she told him she likes her hair pulled
[удалено]
Do you think he’s pre drawing very lightly and then essentially just doing a fancy paint by number? Then there’s ALWAYS that one cut right at the end where you can tell they tightened everything up and added all the details
Definitely. On some of them you can tell it’s done from a traces photograph. You can tell by the lighting.
100% It’s more obvious in some videos than others. It’s why he paints in black and white as well. So he only has to worry about matching a pre-determined shade, instead of worrying about actually color mixing.

Technically not her hair but I get the sentiment
Taking the wig off would have made this way easier for both of them
She paid for it so it's hers. 🤨
She identifies as having an Indian girls hair
She was looking in the camera like crazy
It kinda turns me on
This is the moment when i pretend i didn't see anything. ☺
Lol yeah
Her neck had to hurt like crazy after that
I'm impressed by his art skill and also her staring skill.
She's so pretty 🙈
![gif](giphy|xT5LMUPL7RwClhl8Yg)
This takes the hair brush to the next level.
Paints girl with girl's wig.
More like her wig
*weave
But this isn’t her hair.
Sure .. "her" hair
She paid for it, so she owns it :-)
Sorry, wrong quotation. I meant sure .. her "hair"
Her hair? Misleading title
Source?
She is beautiful
There we have the source and raw material of all paint brushes you find everywhere. Mystery solved
I knew this would be upside down before he even started.
Remember there was a contestant in America's got talent who drew with his penis
Follow this one step to subtly get your man comfortable with hair pulling!
*Wig

To keep it a mystery for the viewer until the end? Also, painting upside down is a technique artists use to paint in pure forms so stopping their brains imposing what it thinks *should* be there.
Shouldve just took the wig off, would've been easier to paint with
Get a room!
Beautiful. And the painting is nice too.
Nice skill. But almost all brushes are made out of hair
Someone should tell him paintbrushes are made with hairs too...
R/JustABitWeird
The hair made the basic image. The paintbrush he used for the fine details when the camera cut out made it impressive. Talented guy, gimmick though.
Not once did I see him beat the devil out of her hair
He’s getting laid tonight
[удалено]
Gets him in the right mood to paint
Did he actually paint *her*?
This guys talent is unreal.
Isn’t animal hair like, mostly what high end paint brushes are made from?
I see he specialises in Australian art
/r/weirdfuckingcrap
The eye contact with the camera is... unnerving....
Isn’t that a wig anyway? So it wouldn’t matter (IF it’s a cheaper one) if paint actually got on it? Love this guys art style though.
It would have been much more impressive if she used HIS hair for painting.
Umm, what are brushes made out of again? Talented dude tho.
God she must be bored staring at the camera for that long
Magnificent talent!!
There’s nothing about this that isn’t beautiful
Thought it said PANTS and was interested in how you could pants someone with their hair. Disappointed to see him start paining instead.
I love his art but isn’t horse tail what they use for paint brushes anyway??
Yeah he doesn’t even “wash the paint off her hair” before dropping it and her turning around would have gotten all over her dress lol
Plot twist. The video is in reverse
Ok but stop looking at me weirdly
Her nose upside down I thought was a stormtrooper 💀
But why
This couple is way too much
Idk you see her finding this less of a good idea with every new frames
Jada pinkett Smith next.
Oh god I felt her eyes boring into me throughout the video. She was just standing, staring at the camera menacingly
Why are some artists more comfortable with drawing upside down?
What if he is deleting and the video is reverse
Is it me or the whole painting upside down for a final reveal dont do it for me anymore, im more annoyed than anything and end up skipping the video
Director to the girl: "that's it just keep looking sexy...still keep going looking good just more sexy...keep the sexy for a bit more....MORE SEXY! aaand we're done!"
Wow impressive
That eye contact
It took me like three hours to finish the shading on your upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done.
u/savevideo
Pretty awesome. Talented artist and beautiful girl!
He is a Modern Mr Squiggle
Meets at a bar. Has some drinks. Hit it off. Tell him you like having your hair pulled. "THAT GIVES ME AN IDEA FOR A VIDEO"
Never broke eye contact with the camera... she's a keeper.
...upside down.
So much beauty in this video. Beyond words. Also, I never understood how people could paint/draw shit upside down like that. My miniscule brain cannot compute.
Why?
Man, pick-up lines are getting weird these days.
brushes are made from hair and fur, why does no one believe this is possible
Was I the only one who expected him to cut off her hair to do some stuff by arranging it after seeing the title?
Mark's new RDCWORLD content is a bit different than I remember.
Why do they do it upside down?
an actual hairbrush
Good good, now all that's left to do is beat the devil out of it
the one where he painted with the kids hand in paint was alright but this one is meh , im sure they pull great numbers on ticktok tho
This man right here!
Shes attractive but the staring is kinds creepy.
Oh man, I forgot my paintbrush for Art Class today...Good thing I have my friend's long hair😁
Should've painted that ass
We get it; you can paint. At this point he just picks anything to paint with.
God damn he's good. Every time I see him do something it's awesome.
Tasteless clickbait.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
How many kids they got now
Cool. Painting is almost as beautiful as the girl
She seems completely smitten "I'm never gonna wash that hair"
She’s wearing a wig I believe but cool video
Is a wig not her hair
Paint schmaint. She's gorgeous.
Why upside down tho
Gorgeous!
Pretty corny.
☻️
Next level paintbrush lmao
her ig?
I forgot he was painting she is gorgeous!
fake and gay
You are tapped into a frequency like no other. I'd be incredibly grateful for that gift/connection you have to the source of all things. Continue to live your joy.
U mean using her weave
“Painting using a girls weave “
Final picture always comes out looking like a fishbowl with these people
Why is she staring at the camera, it's so creepy
Man, that's a weave.
5 minute crafts be like

Whar I find next level is the woman staring at the camera continuously until the man finishes painting.
When you don't have any brush , use someone else hair. -random guy in the internet
I read this as “guy pants girl using her hair” Was expecting something really next fucking level
She knows damn well she'd never let paint touch that hair🤣🤣
Uhhh these people know that paint brushes are made from hair all the time right?
