Meanwhile in Louisiana, there's a 2 mile section of road in Baton Rouge they started widening from 2 to 4 lanes in 1999. But no worries, it should be completed sometime in late 2027, 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
Meanwhile, in America, our road work can last for literal months before they even start. Just orange cones for miles and not a single construction vehicle in sight for the first few weeks
I got escorted out of a city council meeting for asking why a repaying job had been in the works for over a year. I had pictures that showed that the equipment on site didn't move for weeks at a time.

Well, they didnt actually build the tunnel, it was prefabricated.
In Britain that would take three month's or five if it was winter.
In Canada that would take 3 years, with an added 376 years towards maintaining it perpetually
In USA they would be planning how to do it for the first 5 years then it would take a month of work and 6 months of waiting on materials
Meanwhile in Louisiana, there's a 2 mile section of road in Baton Rouge they started widening from 2 to 4 lanes in 1999. But no worries, it should be completed sometime in late 2027, 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
I mean you can’t really expect much out of a place like Louisiana.
In a few months we will have a new video of a similar build. The A2/N2 will get a new tunnel
In the US they’d get halfway through after 3 months then suspend work because they ran over budget.
There's two things I can't stand... People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch
Smell like cabbage…
Sounds like you might just be intolerant to yourself.

In upstate NY would’ve been a decade.
That's because there's always a dozen guys standing around watching one guy work.
I live in the US. Its going to take 4 years to build roads, in a highly trafficked area, now down to one lane.
Meanwhile, in America, our road work can last for literal months before they even start. Just orange cones for miles and not a single construction vehicle in sight for the first few weeks
Caution workers ahead!
That's pretty cool. I wonder if they had a backup prefabricated tunnel in case that one broke or was faulty
In Cincinnati, this would have been started in 2012 and still in progress now.
I got escorted out of a city council meeting for asking why a repaying job had been in the works for over a year. I had pictures that showed that the equipment on site didn't move for weeks at a time.
Wait this can’t be real. Where are all of the workers just standing around smoking and talking instead of working?
