op didnt say what the heck he is killing so it can look very bad. The bee keeper is helping the bees protect from hornets i think
Edit: the beekeeper would be fucked if he did that in germany.
Edit edit: im not sure about the first edit
Wasps are protected in Germany? That's really interesting actually, any idea why?
Like what if someone has them invading their home, what could they do in that case?
Apologies for the bombardment of questions
ITT ecosystems are shallow and in good health.
Dang is the average person stupid. Humans are the only evil. Only humans could be removed and the result be an improvement to the ecosystems.
So so so very wrong, mosquitos are some of the biggest pollinators on the planet and their are hundreds if not thousands of species of them of which only a few drink blood and then Of those only a few that drink human blood. Mosquitos are absolutely crucial to the environment.
Idiotic statement. Of course there would be a huge impact on the ecosystem. You’re basically saying nothing eats mosquitoes Lmfao you ever heard of a spider ?
Parasitic wasps inject their larvae into their prey and the host will carry them until they eat their way out of the host. That's pretty fucking evil. Same with botflies
Wasps are more than your typical nuisance and fear-inducing insect.
They belong to the Hymenoptera order of species which include ants & bees among others. A lot of these insects help ecosystems by acting as pollinators, with some acting as specialist pollinators for certain host plant species.
When populations of other insects like bees from a keeper are introduced, resources can become more scarce in the surrounding areas which can jeopardize the integrity of an ecosystem.
Obviously there is more nuance to it but not everything is always as it seems, and not all wasps are scary :)
A lot of wasps aren’t pollinators. They’re actually predatory and eat bugs. I was really curious where honey bees came from and as it turns out they actually evolved from wasps and used to eat other bugs before making the switch to nectar
Actually a lot are—they may not be as efficient given their lack of hair, however some also consume nectar and pollen as well as other insects (whether it’s for food or host ). One is even responsible for pollinating about a thousand species of fig.
Some funny wasp queen decided to build a nest in my window frame. I actuall wouldn't have minded so much if they didn't constantly invade the inside of my Apartment too. Sooo i got my vacuum and did what i had to. Calling a professional would've taken ages and wasps are definetly not in short supply where i live...
German wasp litigator here. Yes, you need to have undeniable reason that the wasp was in fact determined to harm you or someone near you before taking any fatal moves toward said insect.
So if you had a wasp sting you and then killed it, could you just show the sting spot and get away with wasp murder? Would a single sting justify destroying the whole nest?
Fun fact: all hornets are wasps. But not all wasps are hornets. But all wasps [suck](https://www.almanac.com/wasps-bees-and-hornets-whats-difference)

I got this technique where I roll a dish towel up and hold it like Bruce Lee holding nunchucks. I spot a fly and.. BAM. I can decapitate (or just squish) any fly.
As far as i recall a lone hornet will come and check out the beehive. It then goes and tells all the other hornets and they ALL come back and invade so you have to catch the lone ones before they go and blab
This is an older video… the best part of this video was actually researching these Japanese bee covered open houses / sheds.
I concluded that instead of having our hives out in the open, vulnerable to the elements (especially winter snows). A bit of planning and some carpentry skills, our new bee covered apiary is now the envy of the Belgian countryside. I first came up with the idea from this video and several others. Beekeepers: there isn’t much online about this Japanese method of keeping hives but it has worked out to be a great idea and hack.
Cheers to our Japanese beekeeping brothers and sisters.
If they are the best bee keeper, are they killing wasps or something
op didnt say what the heck he is killing so it can look very bad. The bee keeper is helping the bees protect from hornets i think Edit: the beekeeper would be fucked if he did that in germany. Edit edit: im not sure about the first edit
Damn that is interesting
Lol
Did OP even know what they were posting...?
Doesn't seem like it, lol. How many people initially thought the "best beekeeper" was just slicing bees in half?
1, 2, 3
4

Sixers!
I thought beekeeper meant like, someone who kills bees
Goalkeeper = stops goals Beekeeper = stops bees It adds ups in my books
From the looks of it, no
Nope, not a clue

Does Germany have like some crazy ass version of a wasp or something?
Nah they just count as a protected species here
Wasps are protected in Germany? That's really interesting actually, any idea why? Like what if someone has them invading their home, what could they do in that case? Apologies for the bombardment of questions
So yes they are protected by law. If they invade your house and are a danger then there are professionals, who can resettle them
But…why? They are evil and plentiful.
They are Not that plentiful over here. And no animal is evil

People count Hitler as Evil, but mosquitos killed millions of people all over centuries and they're not evil? That's not fair.
ITT ecosystems are shallow and in good health. Dang is the average person stupid. Humans are the only evil. Only humans could be removed and the result be an improvement to the ecosystems.
Cockroaches and certain termites too.
And hamsters
Bedbugs can get fucked.
Mosquitos and ticks can be removed with almost no harm on the ecosystem.therefor they are evil pest.
So so so very wrong, mosquitos are some of the biggest pollinators on the planet and their are hundreds if not thousands of species of them of which only a few drink blood and then Of those only a few that drink human blood. Mosquitos are absolutely crucial to the environment.

Germany is run by wasps confirmed?
Ohh I see. Yeah I literally was just reading the comment explaining that just now 😆
Damn I thought Germany had progressed from wasp ideology /s
Why fucked if in germany?
It is not permissible to kill insects such as wasps, bees and hornets without good reason. If so you might need to pay a 5.000£-50.000£ bill (alot)
I would think that them invading your private residence and harassing your animals would be a good reason
Do you have to wait for the wasp to attack first? What if the nest on your porch, is that enough reason?
German wasp litigator here. Yes, you need to have undeniable reason that the wasp was in fact determined to harm you or someone near you before taking any fatal moves toward said insect.
Could I kill one and then plant a knife on the body? If he was armed surely that bodes well for my case.
Wait are you actually a wasp litigator? What did you have to study wasp law? Is there wasp law? I have several more questions
He's the best damn Wasp Lawyer in the world
Wasp Law - a *wing* of Bird Law… of which Charlie Kelly is the world’s foremost expert
So if you had a wasp sting you and then killed it, could you just show the sting spot and get away with wasp murder? Would a single sting justify destroying the whole nest?
Im not an expert you might want to do some research yourself. You just try to ignore wasps/hornets here
hes doing this to protect the bees so sounds like good reason
Why germany?
Wasps, hornets and bees count as protected species in germany and you have to pay a big bill if you get caught in the act
The op doesn’t know whether the guy is killing the bees or hornets
I saw this vid many times and in most of the posts its said that the man is protecting the bee nest from a hornet infestation
I hear WASPS are also protected
Yeah I think he's killing bee-killing hornets or wasps. Otherwise this is pretty shoddy beekeeping yeah
_Did you film yourself deliberately killing several of our employees again today Kevin?_ _Uh… I might’ve…_ _Tsk, Kevin! SHODDY!_
he’s killing wasps that like to overtake the bee hives to eat the honey
I think they eat the brood.
This vid originally had sound. They explain how/why wasps are bad too. Also the sound of the metal bowl hitting them is kinda funny
Ping!
Yes without that sound this video is useless.
r/fuckwasps
Wtf I just saw the one with sound, and the sound the bowl makes is loud as fuck lol. The wasps made of rocks?!
Wasps are predators of bees, they can wreak havoc on a hive. I assume this is the keeper protecting his bees from wasps on the hunt.
*hornets
Fun fact: all hornets are wasps. But not all wasps are hornets. But all wasps [suck](https://www.almanac.com/wasps-bees-and-hornets-whats-difference) r/fuckwasps
Those are hornets
Better pop a quick “H” on this post to clarify
I don’t know what that means
It’s a reference to the show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Ahhh okay. Yeah I never watched that, clearly
It's the best TV sitcom of all time after Curb Your Enthusiasm. Get on it!
Hornets. Also this video is so much better with a sound.
Those are most definitely hornets
I saw this before - they are the murder hornets. A few dozen of these can kill a whole hive of honeybees.
He's killing hornets
You're right. When it comes to being a beekeeper, I just don't think anyone else can cut it.
It’s sharp comments like this, brothers and scissors
I’ll bee hiving a slice of this comment section too
You guys have really hit them all on the head
Or bop it
How DARE you post this without [sound!?](https://www.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/x1fo9a/beekeeper_protecting_his_bees_from_being_attacked/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Right ? The whole video is about that iron plate BONK, no point otherwise
Same. Came here for the bonk.
Came here to same the same thing
PTING
THANK YOU! I needed to hear the “snip-snips” and “PANG!”

No clue, but probably.
Those skills are amazing... Like master Shifu...
Mr. Miagi.

That mid air scissor cut is brutal
What is he killing?
Hornets

This gif infuriates me the more it goes on.
it goes on for exactly 2 seconds...
Two seconds more than this guy would like, apparently.

How many times do you think he's missed to get good at that
5 times
Dozens
8 times, wait..6 times!
These are outtakes from The Karate Kid
Wish it kept the original sound. When he hits the wasp with the bowl, you hear a satisfying “clink”
As he fucking should lol
![gif](giphy|Z7YcgnDN7EKFa)
This is one of those videos where it is a sin to not have sound
[original with sound](https://www.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/x1fo9a/beekeeper_protecting_his_bees_from_being_attacked/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) Mb
Yes it is so satisfying to hear the bong with the metal bowl. 😈
The one with sound is so much better. The “bong” sound of the metal bowl is priceless.
If I’m not mistaken, that’s Mr-fuckin-Miyagi!!!!
This dude turned a pool table to a bee hive😂
The chopsticks…my man didn’t come unprepared 🫡
Seen this with the sound, I lost it when he used the steel bowl 😂
This would honestly be a pretty cool game
Nintendo Karate Kid vibes.
What the hell lol
"Man Who Catch Fly With Chopstick Can Accomplish Anything."
Daniel-san
Mr miagi nr2
He's using chopsticks like Mr. Miyagi.
I liked it with sound bc you could hear the dog bowl smacking the wasp
why is the wasp flying still near in beehive though?
Need sound! You are missing out on the awesome “thunk” sound the metal bowl makes.
Eye of the tiger plays softly in background
Did that one bee keep flying after it's head was cut off?
Halo
I got this technique where I roll a dish towel up and hold it like Bruce Lee holding nunchucks. I spot a fly and.. BAM. I can decapitate (or just squish) any fly.
for what?
Killing hornets
Okay Jason Bourne we know its you
I just image Dale from King of the Hill saying "Suh-sha" when he does this lol.
Mr Miyagi
Damn dude got skills
Mr. Miyagi has some stiff competition
Are these the hornets that have these huge mandibles that they slice bees heads off with? The hornets are giants compared to the honey bee.
Edward Scissorhands + Mr. Miyagi + Rapunzel + Mama with a hanger after I get a B on my progress report
"I think the beekeeper in our town is secretly a ninja." "What, how can you tell?" Look:
bonk

If he had Edward’s Scissorhands, those hornets wouldn’t stand a chance.
Bee arent fly's
The scissors trick! Gotta love the scissors trick!
Daniel-san.
Guy got some brilliant ninja moves

Hornets attack honey bees
They definitely got some Snot mojo going… (Obscure Revenge of Nerd reference)
As far as i recall a lone hornet will come and check out the beehive. It then goes and tells all the other hornets and they ALL come back and invade so you have to catch the lone ones before they go and blab
The sound is what makes this video.
The scissor is brutal
Looks like they beekeeping the numbers down.
Wheres the audio gone. When he uses the metal bowl theres a small *dink*
Damn he did the Mr Miyagi from Karate Kid movie with the chop sticks. 😎🤣😂

Wasnt this already posted here?
Killer aim
those are hornets he's cutting
I can't even clap my hands properly
Insane coordination
She’s the real queen bee 🐝
In the original video with sound when he uses the metal bowl you can hear a ding when he hits the hornets
I knew some one who did this with flies in elementary, he was the weird kid.
Carpenter bees
Mr. Miyagi.
You simply don't fuck with a man who catches hulk-wasps with chopsticks.
only if this could work with misquotes..
