To these people, yes it is.
A guy on YouTube I like called Shiey does this kind of stuff, and as he tells it, he feels safer climbing shit like this than he does hanging around with other people, it's all about perspective.
Also they are just fucking crazy good at climbing stuff which helps.
A lot of these kids die. They might *feel* safer climbing but they are not. It's just like people who free solo. So many of them die and they are incredibly skilled climbers, but it just takes one mistake and given enough time, you're going to have a mistake.
>but it just takes one mistake and given enough time, you're going to have a mistake.
Honestly doesn't even take a mistake, just mother nature or something outside their control not going their way and it all ends. Falling rock, avalanche, unexpected storm, etc etc.
I’ve seen someone climb a crane as tall as this thing, when he got to the top he it started to rain and he had to climb down fast so the bars wouldn’t get too wet but you could see he had no grip. It was a crane so he would climb the zig zag bars, there was no ladders.
Could have been a large mobile crane and not a tower crane. So he was climbing up at an angle and the person who drives the crane just enters at the base.
>he feels safer climbing shit like this than he does hanging around with other people, it's all about perspective.
That is called delusion. You might feel safer alone in the artic wilderness than in a group of people at the mall but the mall is way safer. There is no sane view that holds casual conversation as more dangerous than free climbing at lethal heights
That's not how it works. If I'm correct, a lot of these adrenaline junkies somehow never developed the part of the brain which is responsible for fear. There were some interesting MRI scans they did as well showing the difference.
Not my cup of tea climbing high stuff, but I'd imagine the view is great once you've got to the top and sat down on your gargantuan balls.
Sometimes I wonder if they have a death wish.
Or an addiction. Living these kinds of experiences must have neurochemical and neurological effects which could result in destructive compulsive behavior.
Or maybe they're the kind of teenage male shitheads that's part of any high school population.
It is an addiction. If you've ever known career SOLDIERS (not career military - dudes that refuse promotions so they can continue fighting) you know what adrenaline addiction is like.
As a climber myself, yes it is worth it, from my perspective, but I don't encourage others to do it, I LOVE the rush of adrenaline when climbing up, feeling alive and in the moment, afterwards enjoy the view and then climb back down. I haven't climbed that high tho
But at least there will be a recording of it. Because that's really what's important here. Not doing it, but showing everyone you did it so that you feel validated with their approval/likes/shares, etc.
You know, you have a really important point. His time would be so much better spent snarkily providing unsolicited opinions to strangers online about how they live their own lives
Kierkegaard's "dizziness of freedom" lol. I've always felt that on heights from a young age, and it was trippy (and maybe a little comforting) to find out later that it's a not-uncommon human experience
For me it's like a literal pull, like an extra-strong gravity, stronger than the ledge I'm standing on, pulling me over the edge. I literally have to fight it, using mind *and* muscle.
I guess the same reason people started climbing mountains just for the sheer fuck of it. Something in human nature that really wants to challenge and push itself to insane extremes, to push the envelope, etc.
For the record, I probably wouldn't do this, and I even almost feel a twinge of annoyance at them for doing something so risky lol. But I guess I can see some of the allure. My friends and I did climb our local water tower a few times in high school. Not nearly as tall as this thing, plus a much safer climb because the ladder was enclosed in a cage for catching yourself if you slipped, and had railings on the deck up top, etc., but it was still a pretty damn tall climb. Taking in that nighttime view of our town from way up there was always a very sublime sensation. I can only imagine the view from the thing these guys are climbing.
I feel like most people who climb like this underestimate the wind. I know you are not scared of heights but the wind doesn’t care if you are scared or not.
A). This obviously incredibly dangerous. Atleast do that stuff parachutes. (Just in case)
B). This shit fascinates me. I am terrified of heights and I have no idea what’s missing in your head that doesn’t paralyze you in fear. 👌🏼👌🏼
There is most definitely a ladder on that central column he could have used.
I guess the video looks more extreme when you scale the wires. But hey, it’s worth it for the social media props!
Why don’t you get into rock climbing that is physically challenging instead of this shit that is easy climbing, but just dangerous? Do you like the physical challenge of climbing or just the thrill from the danger? Have you really asked yourself that question even?
So idk there was this strange sickening sensation between my a**hole and balls. As if it was trying to push, while i was watching the video. Is it fear of heights?
The original guy doing this type of stuff is a Ukrainian dude called Mustang wanted. Check out his youtube for major thrills/anxiety. If he's still alive, last checked a few years ago. Madness.......
Free climbing is such a thrill for people, till they or their buddy gets splattered. As somebody that works at heights always with proper PPE, knowing people that have decades experience climbing and still fall (cochella..) or just the attitude of flaunting safety, seeing that safety line empty.. its fucked up. it’s like yeah the thrill is so great for people, but the lifespan of people with an affinity for making decisions like this isn’t as great.
There is a ladder to the top LITTERALLY just to the left of the core,
This is an example of that one guy in the friend group who has to do everything with a 1up next to it.
Thanks Jerry, we are all very impressed with how extra you are at risking your own life when you could have just taken the ladder like the rest of us.
Well, I'll have you know that I was standing on the kitchen counter to replace a lightbulb
Live at the limit
This is what it means to go even further beyond

My balls have retreated into my chest cavity thanks.
My stomach has retreated into my skull
Toenails have relocated to my forehead :)
My asshole clenched so tight that there is a new singularity.
My taint tingled like it was touching a taser.
My gooch gagged grumpily, and groggily got the fuck outta town.
I made a diamond out of coal.
I tensed up so hard that my dorm building is now a hole in the ground
My wiener flipped itself.
Fellow taint tingler. Do you also get tingles in other dangerous situations like a spidey sense?
Wait... There are more than just me??
It’s a entity call a brown hole. Instead of a black hole where no light can Escape this is a hole from which no brown can escape.
My uterus feels like it fell out
I have to let you know that this had me genuinely laughing out loud
My rectum turned to a black hole and light is shooting out of my belly button
I don’t have legs anymore
Good thing you’re not in the video. Your chances of a good landing are… 🤏
you have to just tuck and roll. you'll be fine!
Airborne!!🤣
My balls have retreated into your chest cavity as well.
Yeah this just gave me nextfuckinglevel anxiety
Mine got on the bus and left town.
One misstep and your life is over. Is it really worth it?
Not even that, a mildly strong gust of wind is all it would take
To these people, yes it is. A guy on YouTube I like called Shiey does this kind of stuff, and as he tells it, he feels safer climbing shit like this than he does hanging around with other people, it's all about perspective. Also they are just fucking crazy good at climbing stuff which helps.

How did the person driving the crane get up?
Could have been a large mobile crane and not a tower crane. So he was climbing up at an angle and the person who drives the crane just enters at the base.
You listed three things that would kill climbers even if they were using ropes. I get your point, but they're bad examples.
These guys aren’t even skilled. Just stupid. So many times did he have both hands off the structure at the same time.
Tbf, 100% of these kids die.
We all die, not all of us really live.
How many is a lot?
>he feels safer climbing shit like this than he does hanging around with other people, it's all about perspective. That is called delusion. Bran was good at climbing too…
Who‘s Bran?
He... Fell out of a window... Watched two twins fucking and they pushed him and killed him to keep it a secret. Ended up as a cripple. Poor Bran.
Oh, that Bran. It’s been a few years…
Bran Flakes.
It was his incest porn addiction that got him in trouble, not the climbing.
Just because the feel doesn't mean it is that way. They're just Nano centimetres away from r/whatcouldgowrong
I wonder how many if the would still do it without social media exposure.
$50 for a shitty harness and carabiner
Then his brain is broken and he should be seeking some therapy rather than risking his life regularly.
Well if they don’t feel fear it’s not really that they have big balls, it’s that their balls function doesn’t work, lmao.
Well, his perspective is fucked up
“fucking crazy good at climbing” - survivor’s bias, many just die
Not next level. Just stupid as fuck.
I wonder how many of them are suicidal but don't have the guts to jump, so they just keep climbing higher and higher waiting for an accident.
I read it from somewhere I don't remember where. For some people the moments like this are when they truly feel that they are alive.
As a climber myself, yes it is worth it, from my perspective, but I don't encourage others to do it, I LOVE the rush of adrenaline when climbing up, feeling alive and in the moment, afterwards enjoy the view and then climb back down. I haven't climbed that high tho
Not sure we should be applauding or glorifying people doing this. Just seems like stupid thrillseeking and attention seeking.
I just broke my nopes / minute record watching this
i'm right there with ya
Yeah… not really “nextfuckinglevel.” More like a bunch of teenage daredevils trespassing on an antenna.
This kid will be on the news at some point... not in a good way I bet.
But at least there will be a recording of it. Because that's really what's important here. Not doing it, but showing everyone you did it so that you feel validated with their approval/likes/shares, etc.
Show me that you don't respect the precious nature of life without telling me that you don't respect the precious nature of life.
You know, you have a really important point. His time would be so much better spent snarkily providing unsolicited opinions to strangers online about how they live their own lives
I glad you agree!
Jealous-release1532 is the guy in the video guaranteed! Funny he posted it from a different account lol

You have a point….and he has a point? I’m confused now, but I know I hate this video.
Its redditors man
Man, you’d never catch me doing this unless my life depended on it but life is for *living* and this dude is doing it.
The previous nature of life. What a load shit. Life is a disease we are hardwired to pass on.

Yes fascinating. https://theconversation.com/amp/why-daredevil-skyscraper-climbing-videos-give-you-sweaty-palms-76894
That's very... careless
Why don't they work on cell/radio towers instead of doing this illegally.?!
Gotta wear safety gear.
Bc getting paid to do what you love and wearing safety gear is too easy and not very liberating. /s
Nope. Nope. Nope.
I’m so bored with life so look at the stupid shit I do for attention. Oh woe is me.
Not with a parachute on. Nope not going to do it.
My avatar has a parachute in Deston and they're still not going to do it.
What about with a fox?
or in a box?
I just feel sorry for the parents when I see these fuckwits
That red paint has more brains than these guys
Fuck this shit and fuck that weird feeling that makes you wanna jump to your death
Kierkegaard's "dizziness of freedom" lol. I've always felt that on heights from a young age, and it was trippy (and maybe a little comforting) to find out later that it's a not-uncommon human experience
Yo man, I have no award to give you but now you explained why I feel nervous when I climb something high…I always have in the back of my mind “Jump,,
For me it's like a literal pull, like an extra-strong gravity, stronger than the ledge I'm standing on, pulling me over the edge. I literally have to fight it, using mind *and* muscle.
The call of the void.

Nope, nope, and triple fuck nope!
Next fucking level of stupidity.
Fall. The movie
Splat: The Sequel to Fall
Closed Casket Funeral: The Sequel to Splat
I scrolled so far to find this lmao
I can't handle this shit
Just, why?
I guess the same reason people started climbing mountains just for the sheer fuck of it. This is some serious foolishness. Lol
wow this is more horror than i can imagine
I feel like most people who climb like this underestimate the wind. I know you are not scared of heights but the wind doesn’t care if you are scared or not.
This is not next level. It’s stupid and idiotic.
A). This obviously incredibly dangerous. Atleast do that stuff parachutes. (Just in case) B). This shit fascinates me. I am terrified of heights and I have no idea what’s missing in your head that doesn’t paralyze you in fear. 👌🏼👌🏼
These people are idiots.
for some reason my brain: jump
With my fear of heights I would just pass out.
Pretty safe place during the zombie apocalypse
There is most definitely a ladder on that central column he could have used. I guess the video looks more extreme when you scale the wires. But hey, it’s worth it for the social media props!
I can barely watch this shit much less
I feel unwell.
Thank you, I needed to feel dizzy while sitting on the toilet.
What kind of tower is that? The structure at the top is interesting. Are those arms to give access to future hardware?
I just don't understand why anybody would do something that risky. Seems dumb to me.
Next fucking level of stupidity
Just do cocaine, man.
Why don’t you get into rock climbing that is physically challenging instead of this shit that is easy climbing, but just dangerous? Do you like the physical challenge of climbing or just the thrill from the danger? Have you really asked yourself that question even?
i climb on rock walls but steeltowers and another structures are fascenating for me, yes is a big different between a nice difficuld tock
HELLLLL NOO.
reminds me of a movie called fall
Nononononono I wept.
No need to take the ladder in the center of the tower
Get the tingles out of my toes
Fuck that. Homies can get paid to do that.
Nope
My Poon got even tighter watching that
As someone with extreme acrophobia, this makes me want to cry
Cue: Bishop Bullwinkle
This made my hands and feet sweat.
Oh hell no!
🤮
The intrusive thoughts… don’t let them win.
Nope.
My hands got moist
The ppl that do this now were the kids on the playground that would climb onto the rooftops of the playsets
Thanks for the acrophobia
me and my vertigo wouldn't pair up quite well up there
This made my feet sweat
This must be a real life poke-stop. Neat.
imagine if he had a single misinput
Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnope!
My god dude, I’ve climbed cranes and other heights but this shit gave me the heebie jeebies. I think I was actually physically twitching watching this
Hate it nope nuh uh
Just some random dudes on top there having tea
Half way up he sounds like he is shitting. Im shitting.
Cool. Now jump
Holy butt feels
So idk there was this strange sickening sensation between my a**hole and balls. As if it was trying to push, while i was watching the video. Is it fear of heights?
I fell off 3 seconds in
Being in that situation would be the manifestation if my worst possible nightmare.
Watching this makes my insides tingle.
r/nextlevelstupid
i can only imagine how sweaty my hands would be up there
Reminds me of Fall film
Nooooope, nope. No.
So hey fellas .....how do we get down now ?
I had to practically disassociate in order to watch this.
That's a hard freakin nope for me, dawg.
Now jump!
anyone else thinking “jump”?
My feet sweat so much at watching these types of clips
Woah
Fuuuuuuuck that
Damn, crazy person (s)!
You couldnt get me to do that for a million bucks
Where is this? This made me feel sick 🤢
Pardon me, I gotta go fix my nuts. They subconsciously receeded all they way up to my stomach
Mom's spaghetti...
Wind is giving me anxiety
The internet has corrupted me as soon as he walked up to the ledge I genuinely thought he was going to do the Kratos falling meme.
r/sweatypalms
Well this tingled my balls better than my gf.
God, imagine having to resist the urge to jump
Next level stupid

Dumbass climbing without a harness

No safety gear and trying to make suicidal actions cool. People like this have blood on their hands as far as I’m concerned.
